I would like to enthusiastically endorse Proma Patra for consideration for employment in your firm.
Over the last months, I worked closely with Proma and the other student team members at the
University of Michigan on a project for Ingredion as part of the Ross School of Business curriculum. This
project explored both the agronomic and manufacturing complexity of Ingredion entering a specific new
market area. This project had significant ambiguity and complexity and the student team did an
excellent job of providing excellent analysis of the business case and providing well thought through
recommendations.
Proma demonstrated a very can do attitude. She was one of the more vocal members of the student
team and always seemed to ask the right questions to move the team along. I believe that she is a quick
study and rapidly grasped the manufacturing concepts and was instrumental in building the model that
determined short and long term profitability. I was very impressed with her acumen in both the
manufacturing and business arenas. I believe that she has really good interpersonal skills. She was very
good at taking charge in areas of her expertise and working in a more collaborative mode when one of
her teammates had more experience on a specific topic. She also demonstrated strong presentation
skills at the term end review with the class.
