separation (hiding) from God
• Doomed to die
• Eve’s curse while on earth
• The pain of childbirth

lessens. A man having already greater
physical strength is freer to lead.

• On seeing Eve, Adam was horrified.
Eve had the sentence of guilt,
disgrace, and death on her face. Her
innocent beauty no longer glowed.
• He faced a dilemma. Lose her or join
her. His beloved companion fatally
doomed. Adam willing choses death
with her out of love.

7. The Fall of Adam
and Eve
Where sin increased, grace also the more. Just as sin reigns
unto death (in Adam) , so also grace (underserved mercy)
might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life
through Christ
