Answer each question as completely as possible. Each question is worth 10 points for a total of 50 points. The exam is due in the dropbox by noon

1.On worksheet #3 you were asked to make the business case for sustainability. Businesses are concerned about making more profit and be more
profitable into the future. The items listed on the sustainability PowerPoint could be broken into three categories: cost reduction, increased worker
productivity, enhanced market share. Make the business case for sustainability in the light of these three categories. How does each of these fit into the
triple bottom line (3BL)?

The triple bottom line concept has changed the way businesses measure sustainability and the performance of policies. The flexibility of the triple
bottom line concept also allows businesses to apply the concept in a way that is most beneficial to their specific needs. It can also improve more than
just a business's financial line, it can improve the way people treat others within an organization as well as reduce their negative impact on the
environment.
The business case for sustainability is to try and prove that while decreasing a company's environmental impact, they are in turn increasing their social
impact, as well as their profits. The goal of the business case for sustainability is to enhance profits, comply with regulations, avoid future litigation,
reduce resource use, reduce the waste stream, reduce energy use, increase customer satisfaction, increase employee satisfaction, and the good will of
the community. In the past, destroying and polluting may have been good for business and the profit bottom line. But today, businesses that are "going
green," can save producers money and also be popular with consumers. With the growing demand for 'green ' products, major new markets have been
created in which eco–entrepreneurs are reaping the benefits. Companies known for proactive policies that support environmental regulations are often
positively recognized by customers, employees, regulators, the media and others. Because of their

Essay about Suicide
Someone, somewhere, commits suicide every 18 minutes. You might never be able to tell who it will be, it could be the person sitting right next .
Statistics reveal that approximately three million youths, between 12–18, have either thought about or attempted suicide in the past year. More than 1
/3, actually succeeded.
Only in the past two decades, have depression and suicide been taken seriously. Depression is an illness that involves the body, mood and thoughts.
Depression affects the way a person eats and sleeps, feels about themselves, and the way they think of the things around them. It comes as no surprise to
discover that adolescent depression is strongly linked to teen suicide. Adolescent suicide is now responsible for more deaths...show more content...
Adolescence is a stressful experience for all teens. It is a time of physical and social changes producing rapid mood swings from sadness to elation.
Even an emotionally healthy teenager may have the constant fear of not being good enough, not making the varsity team, or getting good grades.
Special situations such as a parents divorce can trigger intense sadness and feelings of wanting to die.
People who usually experience depression, can seem fine. But there are many key signs to show that they are depressed. Such as, change in school
performance, eating habits change, constant unhappiness, low self esteem, guilt, social isolation, inability to concentrate, irritable or angered easily, or
has a severe lost of energy.
For a teen suffering from severe depression, has feelings of worthlessness that dominates their day. Despair is ever present and emotional pain feels
like it will never end. Any situation of anger or disappointment may cause the teen to cross the line from wanting to die, to actually trying to kill
themselves.
Many of them feel pains inside of them, that they can't describe when someone asks them how they feel. They just know that they are sad, or angry, or

Questions On The Physical Appearance
1)Our physical appearance communicates nonverbally how professional we are. Dressing professionally gives the perception of increased status,
competence or knowledge, trustworthiness, and the ability to influence others. Adorning artifacts signals to others our style and our unique sense of
self. Although, too many artifacts for a professional woman could give the wrong impression. Acceptable jewelry for women are button earrings,
chain chokers, and necklaces; however, these are less acceptable for men. Our vocalics which includes pitch, rate, and volume help us mean what
we say. If an employee is frustrated, their vocalics will reveal the emotion to the supervisor. For gestures and body movement, we use emblems,
illustrators, and regulators. Emblems have direct verbal translations. Holding your hand up with the palm facing someone translated verbally is
"stop." Illustrators complement the verbal message by clarifying or intensifying your message such as pointing with your finger in the direction
while verbally giving the directions. Facial expressions, including the eyes, convey emotions. When we are angry, sad, or happy, our face will show it.
Eye contact of 60 to 70 percent can also improve your effectiveness as a leader or project self–esteem and trustworthiness. Maintaining the appropriate
proximity of others expresses our respect for them and how familiar we are with them. We allow close friends and family in our personal space;

1. Introduction
1.1 Why do marketers need to understand consumer behaviour?
Marketers need to understand consumer behaviour in order to know what the consumer wants from a product. This is because different types of
people will want different things from the products they buy; for example, an older, married couple will have different needs and wants to a young
couple. Marketers also need to understand the behaviour of consumers to design and construct the best marketing approach to capture the chosen target
market.
1.2 The Scenario
A newly–wed couple, in their late twenties, have bought their first house together and wish to refurbish the kitchen. Each of their parents have given
the couple some money towards the kitchen and so they have a budget of around ВЈ5–7000. The couple would like an impressive, contemporary
kitchen, with space to entertain friends and family.
1.3 Aim of the report
In the following sections, matters such as consumer characteristics, types of consumer buying decisions and what makes the decision–making process
will be discussed in order to show how an industry can influence the various stages of the purchase of a kitchen.
2. The Characteristics that AffectConsumer Behaviour
2.1 Personal factors
Personal factors can affect consumer buyer behaviour. For example, factors such as age, occupation, economic situation, lifestyle and personality can
all have an impact on the buyer's purchase decisions. In this case, the buyers are in their late twenties

Questions and Answers on Project Management
Project Management Paper Name Institutional Affiliation Date: Project Management Paper What is a project? A project refers to an intended
outcome requiring the implementation of a series of actions conducted in a uniform sequence of events. Many people have failed to understand
this concept. I have witnessed a variety of incomplete lists of the project from a number of people. In today's world, people have different ideas,
which could be a source of the problem or an opportunity for a project (Kerzner, 2013). What are the basic phases of the project lifecycle and their
purposes? There are very many names given to the different stages of the course of a project that are also sourced from different professionals and
authors. As for the case of management professionals for facilities, it is very important to give gratitude to the project phases, which includes four main
branches, with the use of acronym C–D–E–F: in actual names, conceptual phase, design phase, execution phase, and finishing phase (Field, & Keller,
2008). The first phase known as the conceptual phase includes generation of ideas, implementation and enacting the completion of a possible study
with a clear description of the reason behind the intended project. At this phase, the project is discussed as the first phase and its main objective is to
assess the proposed project fueled by a recognizable need, problem or opportunity, which relates to the strategic objectives of an organization (Heldman

Open Ended Questions
Open ended questions are used for many different purpose; the most common, to get the responder's opinionated answer on a matter. Theses questions
allow the responder to think and transmit as much of their opinion as they please. With these answers, those asking the questions gain insight into the
feelings and opinions of the responder (cite). An example of open questioning would be, what was your favorite part of the day? This question allows
the respondent to process the question and give a personal response. This form of questioning can be used for different reasons. A teacher may use
open questioning on an exam as a short answer to allow the student to provide an in–depth answer (cite). A parent may use this type of questioning to

Sports And Consumerism In Sports
Decades have passed and with time comes change, it should not come as a shock that as a society we've grown and developed. The way we consume
sports, its mechanisms, and the culture behind it, has changed outstandingly. The effects that media has had on the sporting industry and consumerism
in the past two decades have been tremendous. The development of high–definition tv's, live streamed sporting events, video games, and even social
media, has globalized sport and transformed the way fans and athletes interact. This transformation from conventional sports consumerism to modern
day has come as a great shock to many. Stephen Brunt's article Sports Consumption Will Undergo Revolution in the Decade Ahead focuses on how the
landscape of the sporting industry will be profoundly transformed, not only in the games and the athletes themselves but in the way we consume them
as entertainment. Brunt's argument on how the new modern tools that have been developed (in association with sports) have changed his view of the
"all American dream" of sports consumerism, is outdated. We do not agree with Brunt's arguments towards the future of sports consumption, and the
supposedly negative effects that will come in regards to future generations.
On the contrary, David J. Leonard New Media and Global Sporting Cultures: Moving Beyond the ClichГ©s and Binaries contradict Brunt's argument
by stating "To the skeptics who simply refuse to acknowledge the impact of new media technologies, who

I choose to pursue an agriculture degree because I have always felt drawn to the field. I have loved animals and felt a strong desire to care for them
since I was a little girl. Animals mean the world to me and when they're doing well, my heart can rest. I absolutely love farm animals and fully intend
to have my own sort of miniature zoo on a hobby farm. During high school I was in FFA and 4H and thoroughly enjoyed showing chickens and rabbits.
I started out as a biology major at Dixie State but did not find satisfaction because there were no animal science courses available, but I was unable to
leave my family and live elsewhere so I remained unhappy.

Questions On Values And Values Essay
One
The word "character" is a noun from the mid–14th century defined as a "symbol marked or branded on the body." In the mid–15th century it was
defined as an "engraved marked" and a "symbol or imprint on the soul." By 1640, the word had evolved to mean "sum of qualities that define a
person."1 Today, Congress and the President of the United States, along with the HBVCI (Hahm–Beller Values Choice Inventory), comprised a list of
six values of character that are compared in the table below.

TrustworthinessHonesty

These six values of character each contribute to the overall components of character – strong, good, and bad have all been used to describe character
and are tested and proven through each interaction and evidenced through challenges, situations, and events. All of these values are essential for any
leadership role.
From the Art of Manliness, developing character is described as being "engraved" or "shaped" upon the clay of our lives "for better and for worse into
a unique set of scratches and grooves...our character begins to be shaped from the very time we are born and is influenced by where we grow up,
how we are raised, the examples our parents provide, religious and academic education, and so on."5 Just as we learn to speak a language, our
character starts to develop from our childhood and

My Interview with a Jewish Friend Essay examples
Introduction of the religion The religion I decided to do this interview on is Judaism. I have always been interested in this religion and was ready to
learn more. One of the three great monotheistic world religions, Judaism began as the faith of the ancient Hebrews, and its sacred text is the Hebrew
Bible, particularly the Torah. Fundamental toJudaism is the belief that the people of Israel are God's chosen people, who must serve as a light for
other nations. God made a covenant first with Abraham, then renewed it with Isaac, Jacob, and Moses. The worship of Yahweh (God) was centered in
Jerusalem from the time of David.

These are things that all Jews share.
3.What different methods of worship does your religion practice?
Answer: Traditionally, Jews use certain rituals on a daily basis, too. Some of these are: putting on the Tallit (a prayer shawl) and Tefillin (phylacteries,
which are small leather boxes containing verses from the Bible that remind Jews of their duties–one worn on the forehead and one on the arm), praying
three times a day, and keeping the dietary laws called Kashrut.
4.Is there a particular day you practice these methods of worship?
Answer: Yes of course. Jews have long revered Shabbat, the Sabbath, as a "taste of the world to come," a time of rest, of peace, and of contentment.
From sundown on Friday night until sundown on Saturday night, observant Jews set aside time to pray and study–a day to refrain from work and
everyday cares.
5.What is your place of worship called?
6.What are the important holidays and traditions of this religion?
Answer: Yes a few are: the high holy days, sukkot, hannukkah, pesach, the omer period, Shavuot, and tishah.
7.How has religion shaped your life?
Answer: Of course it has. Being Jewish is what I am. I was raised this way, left this way of life and came back. I love being the Jewish man I am.
8.What are the challenges, if

Questions On Open Ended Questions Essay
There are many techniques to asking a question. Open ended questions where we are wanting many details from the person or closed ended
questions where we simply just need a yes or a no answer. Funnel questions are where we need to weed out and focus on finding the exact
information we are looking for. We need to Probe the person and really think about what we are asking for in hopes of getting a specific answer.
There are also rhetorical questions where we don't really need an answer at all. When asking a personal question it is extremely important to be
considerate and use the proper method of questioning to get the best result. When we know the person is sharing something of a personal nature we want
to ask an open question where they feel safe and encouraged to share what they feel comfortable sharing.
When the topic is that of a sensitive nature we don't want to ask yes or no questions or risk being too blunt and possibly offend the person. We also
don't want to probe someone for one part of information we were after and become distracted or seem uninterested with the rest of the things they
have to say. The idea is to be open, caring & empathetic. Everyone loves to talk about themselves, however, being able to assess the situation and
knowing how far you can go with someone is a great skill to develop.
The questions I planned to ask were pretty basic. Where did you grow up? Who was in your family? If you could, is there anything you would go

Questions On Financial Markets And Institutions
Financial Markets and Institutions
1. Explore one (1) financial market and the types of transactions supported by it in the U.S. and global economies. Determine how valuable these
transactions are to the overall U.S. and the global economies.
Financial markets help to efficiently direct the flow of savings and investment in the economy in ways that facilitate the accumulation of capital and
the production of goods and services (Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, January 2005). Borrowers and lenders need the combination of
well–developed financial markets and institutions, as well as a diverse array of financial products and instruments, for a stable economy. Financial
markets can be found in nearly every nation in the world. Some are very small, with only a few participants, while others like the New York Stock
Exchange (NYSE) and the forex markets – trade trillions of dollars daily (Complete Guide To CorporateFinance, n.d.).
Within the financial market there is a capital market. A capital market is one in which individuals and institutions trade financial securities. Capital
markets play an important role in helping drive job creation, innovation and financial security. They enable people to save for retirement, afford to buy
homes, finance their education, and grow their businesses, and they enable communities to get funding to provide necessary services. The stock is a
product of the capital market that allow investors to buy and sell shares in publicly traded

Hypothesis and Research Question Essay example
Research questions are formulated in a study to inquire about variables, both independent and dependent variables, and the relationship between them.
Research questions are categorized into two, that is, qualitative and quantitative research questions. Qualitative questions are used in qualitative
research like case studies, surveys and action research where the approach is non–numerical and analyses special phenomena that occur in nature.
Quantitative research on the other hand is more of a systematic approach with measurable numerical quantities that go through analysis to prove a
hypothesis. Finally, the research hypothesis is either approved or disapproved with regards to the results of the analysis (Laureate Online Education B.V.

It must be logical, and provide a concrete base for any differences between the variables. It must also be simple and clear.
A hypothesis can state the following: there exists a positive relationship between employee performance and flexible working hours. Whereas a
research question could generally be: do flexible working hours affect workers productivity? You can clearly see that the hypothesis states clearly and
it is more specific in its prediction unlike the research question (eNotes.com, Inc 2011).
Hypothesis is typically used in quantitative research only. Moreover, when a question poses an inquiry on the relationship between two variables, a
hypothesis is a statement declarative in nature of the relationship between different variables (Pajares 2007). A researcher chooses whether to use a
question or a hypothesis depending on the purpose of the research, its objectives, the methodology for the research and the preference of the audience
to receive the research. A researcher must be able to interpret the final outcome with reference to the research questions or the hypothesis used (Pajares
2007). A research requires a minimum of two hypotheses namely a null and an alternative hypothesis.
So, somebody can make a certain observation and come up with a hypothesis about how and why a phenomenon occurs the way it is. Hypothesis could

The triple bottom line concept has changed the way businesses measure sustainability and the performance of policies. The flexibility of the triple bottom line concept also allows businesses to apply the concept in a way that is most beneficial to their specific needs. It can also improve more than just a business's financial line, it can improve the way people treat others within an organization as well as reduce their negative impact on the environment. The business case for sustainability is to try and prove that while decreasing a company's environmental impact, they are in turn increasing their social impact, as well as their profits. The goal of the business case for sustainability is to enhance profits, comply with regulations, avoid future litigation, reduce resource use, reduce the waste stream, reduce energy use, increase customer satisfaction, increase employee satisfaction, and the good will of the community. In the past, destroying and polluting may have been good for business and the profit bottom line. But today, businesses that are "going green," can save producers money and also be popular with consumers. With the growing demand for 'green ' products, major new markets have been created in which eco–entrepreneurs are reaping the benefits. Only in the past two decades, have depression and suicide been taken seriously. Depression is an illness that involves the body, mood and thoughts. Dressing professionally gives the perception of increased status, competence or knowledge, trustworthiness, and the ability to influence others. Adorning artifacts signals to others our style and our unique sense of self. Although, too many artifacts for a professional woman could give the wrong impression. Acceptable jewelry for women are button earrings, chain chokers, and necklaces; however, these are less acceptable for men. Our vocalics which includes pitch, rate, and volume help us mean what we say. If an employee is frustrated, their vocalics will reveal the emotion to the supervisor. For gestures and body movement, we use emblems, illustrators, and regulators. Emblems have direct verbal translations. Holding your hand up with the palm facing someone translated verbally is "stop." Illustrators complement the verbal message by clarifying or intensifying your message such as pointing with your finger in the direction while verbally giving the directions. • 10. Questions and Answers on Project Management Project Management Paper Name Institutional Affiliation Date: Project Management Paper What is a project? A project refers to an intended outcome requiring the implementation of a series of actions conducted in a uniform sequence of events. Many people have failed to understand this concept. I have witnessed a variety of incomplete lists of the project from a number of people. In today's world, people have different ideas, which could be a source of the problem or an opportunity for a project (Kerzner, 2013). What are the basic phases of the project lifecycle and their purposes? There are very many names given to the different stages of the course of a project that are also sourced from different professionals and authors. As for the case of management professionals for facilities, it is very important to give gratitude to the project phases, which includes four main branches, with the use of acronym C–D–E–F: in actual names, conceptual phase, design phase, execution phase, and finishing phase (Field, & Keller, 2008). The first phase known as the conceptual phase includes generation of ideas, implementation and enacting the completion of a possible study with a clear description of the reason behind the intended project. At this phase, the project is discussed as the first phase and its main objective is to assess the proposed project fueled by a recognizable need, problem or opportunity, which relates to the strategic objectives of an organization (Heldman & Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 12. Sports And Consumerism In Sports Decades have passed and with time comes change, it should not come as a shock that as a society we've grown and developed. The way we consume sports, its mechanisms, and the culture behind it, has changed outstandingly. The effects that media has had on the sporting industry and consumerism in the past two decades have been tremendous. The development of high–definition tv's, live streamed sporting events, video games, and even social media, has globalized sport and transformed the way fans and athletes interact. This transformation from conventional sports consumerism to modern day has come as a great shock to many. Stephen Brunt's article Sports Consumption Will Undergo Revolution in the Decade Ahead focuses on how the landscape of the sporting industry will be profoundly transformed, not only in the games and the athletes themselves but in the way we consume them as entertainment. Brunt's argument on how the new modern tools that have been developed (in association with sports) have changed his view of the "all American dream" of sports consumerism, is outdated. We do not agree with Brunt's arguments towards the future of sports consumption, and the supposedly negative effects that will come in regards to future generations. On the contrary, David J. Leonard New Media and Global Sporting Cultures: Moving Beyond the ClichГ©s and Binaries contradict Brunt's argument by stating "To the skeptics who simply refuse to acknowledge the impact of new media technologies, who Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Agriculture Scholarship Whittni Ananin Department of Agriculture and Nutrition Scholarship Essay 9 January, 2017 I choose to pursue an agriculture degree because I have always felt drawn to the field. I have loved animals and felt a strong desire to care for them since I was a little girl. Animals mean the world to me and when they're doing well, my heart can rest. I absolutely love farm animals and fully intend to have my own sort of miniature zoo on a hobby farm. During high school I was in FFA and 4H and thoroughly enjoyed showing chickens and rabbits. I started out as a biology major at Dixie State but did not find satisfaction because there were no animal science courses available, but I was unable to leave my family and live elsewhere so I remained unhappy. • 14. Questions On Values And Values Essay One The word "character" is a noun from the mid–14th century defined as a "symbol marked or branded on the body." In the mid–15th century it was defined as an "engraved marked" and a "symbol or imprint on the soul." By 1640, the word had evolved to mean "sum of qualities that define a person."1 Today, Congress and the President of the United States, along with the HBVCI (Hahm–Beller Values Choice Inventory), comprised a list of six values of character that are compared in the table below. United States 6 Pillar 2HBVCI3 TrustworthinessHonesty RespectLoyalty ResponsibilityResponsibility FairnessFairness CaringSelf–sacrifice CitizenshipTeamwork, work ethic, perseverance These six values of character each contribute to the overall components of character – strong, good, and bad have all been used to describe character and are tested and proven through each interaction and evidenced through challenges, situations, and events. All of these values are essential for any leadership role. From the Art of Manliness, developing character is described as being "engraved" or "shaped" upon the clay of our lives "for better and for worse into a unique set of scratches and grooves...our character begins to be shaped from the very time we are born and is influenced by where we grow up, how we are raised, the examples our parents provide, religious and academic education, and so on."5 Just as we learn to speak a language, our character starts to develop from our childhood and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. My Interview with a Jewish Friend Essay examples Introduction of the religion The religion I decided to do this interview on is Judaism. I have always been interested in this religion and was ready to learn more. One of the three great monotheistic world religions, Judaism began as the faith of the ancient Hebrews, and its sacred text is the Hebrew Bible, particularly the Torah. Fundamental toJudaism is the belief that the people of Israel are God's chosen people, who must serve as a light for other nations. God made a covenant first with Abraham, then renewed it with Isaac, Jacob, and Moses. The worship of Yahweh (God) was centered in Jerusalem from the time of David. The destruction of the First Temple of Jerusalem by the Babylonians (586 BC) and the subsequent...show more content... These are things that all Jews share. 3.What different methods of worship does your religion practice? Answer: Traditionally, Jews use certain rituals on a daily basis, too. Some of these are: putting on the Tallit (a prayer shawl) and Tefillin (phylacteries, which are small leather boxes containing verses from the Bible that remind Jews of their duties–one worn on the forehead and one on the arm), praying three times a day, and keeping the dietary laws called Kashrut. 4.Is there a particular day you practice these methods of worship? Answer: Yes of course. Jews have long revered Shabbat, the Sabbath, as a "taste of the world to come," a time of rest, of peace, and of contentment. From sundown on Friday night until sundown on Saturday night, observant Jews set aside time to pray and study–a day to refrain from work and everyday cares. 8.What are the challenges, if Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. Questions On Open Ended Questions Essay There are many techniques to asking a question. Open ended questions where we are wanting many details from the person or closed ended questions where we simply just need a yes or a no answer. Funnel questions are where we need to weed out and focus on finding the exact information we are looking for. We need to Probe the person and really think about what we are asking for in hopes of getting a specific answer. There are also rhetorical questions where we don't really need an answer at all. When asking a personal question it is extremely important to be considerate and use the proper method of questioning to get the best result. When we know the person is sharing something of a personal nature we want to ask an open question where they feel safe and encouraged to share what they feel comfortable sharing. When the topic is that of a sensitive nature we don't want to ask yes or no questions or risk being too blunt and possibly offend the person. We also don't want to probe someone for one part of information we were after and become distracted or seem uninterested with the rest of the things they have to say. The idea is to be open, caring & empathetic. Everyone loves to talk about themselves, however, being able to assess the situation and knowing how far you can go with someone is a great skill to develop. The questions I planned to ask were pretty basic. Where did you grow up? Who was in your family? If you could, is there anything you would go back and change about Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Explore one (1) financial market and the types of transactions supported by it in the U.S. and global economies. Determine how valuable these transactions are to the overall U.S. and the global economies. Financial markets help to efficiently direct the flow of savings and investment in the economy in ways that facilitate the accumulation of capital and the production of goods and services (Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, January 2005). Borrowers and lenders need the combination of well–developed financial markets and institutions, as well as a diverse array of financial products and instruments, for a stable economy. Financial markets can be found in nearly every nation in the world. Some are very small, with only a few participants, while others like the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the forex markets – trade trillions of dollars daily (Complete Guide To CorporateFinance, n.d.). Within the financial market there is a capital market. A capital market is one in which individuals and institutions trade financial securities. Capital markets play an important role in helping drive job creation, innovation and financial security. They enable people to save for retirement, afford to buy homes, finance their education, and grow their businesses, and they enable communities to get funding to provide necessary services. Hypothesis and Research Question Essay example Research questions are formulated in a study to inquire about variables, both independent and dependent variables, and the relationship between them. Research questions are categorized into two, that is, qualitative and quantitative research questions. Qualitative questions are used in qualitative research like case studies, surveys and action research where the approach is non–numerical and analyses special phenomena that occur in nature. Quantitative research on the other hand is more of a systematic approach with measurable numerical quantities that go through analysis to prove a hypothesis. Finally, the research hypothesis is either approved or disapproved with regards to the results of the analysis (Laureate Online Education B.V. ...show more content... It must be logical, and provide a concrete base for any differences between the variables. It must also be simple and clear. A hypothesis can state the following: there exists a positive relationship between employee performance and flexible working hours. Whereas a research question could generally be: do flexible working hours affect workers productivity? You can clearly see that the hypothesis states clearly and it is more specific in its prediction unlike the research question (eNotes.com, Inc 2011). Hypothesis is typically used in quantitative research only. Moreover, when a question poses an inquiry on the relationship between two variables, a hypothesis is a statement declarative in nature of the relationship between different variables (Pajares 2007). A researcher chooses whether to use a question or a hypothesis depending on the purpose of the research, its objectives, the methodology for the research and the preference of the audience to receive the research. A researcher must be able to interpret the final outcome with reference to the research questions or the hypothesis used (Pajares 2007). A research requires a minimum of two hypotheses namely a null and an alternative hypothesis. So, somebody can make a certain observation and come up with a hypothesis about how and why a phenomenon occurs the way it is. Hypothesis could be Get more content on HelpWriting.net
