• Did you know that there is an easy way to find information (codebook) on the
variables in your data set?

• To get an overview of file information, go to the File menu and select Display Data File
Information. Users will have the option to get information on a Working File or an
External File.
• If you select Working File, you will get a report on variables in the data set.
