Online applications are invited from the fresh candidates for two-year D.El.Ed.
Course for the academic session, 2017-2019 in 30 DIETs, 04 BIETs, 31 Government
Elementary Teacher Education Institutions (GETEIs), 02 Government Elementary
Teacher Education Institutions (SC & ST Development) and 01 Non Government
Aided Secondary Training School managed by Minority Community of the State.
1.0 DURATION AND WORKING DAYS OF THE COURSE :
1.1 Duration :
The D.El.Ed. programme shall be of a duration of two academic years.
1.2 Working Days :
There shall be at least 200 working days each year exclusive of the period of
Examination and admission. The minimum attendance of student teacher shall have to
be 80% for all course work and practicum, and 90% for school internship.

3.0 Eligibility to apply for the Specific Course :

Note : An eligible candidate can apply for any one option only out of the above
seven categories.
4.0 Eligibility for D.El.Ed. Course (All) :
The candidate must fulfill all the eligibility conditions given below :
4.1 The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary / +2 Examination in Arts /
Science / Commerce or its equivalent examination from recognized Boards /
Councils (the candidates shall have to submit equivalent certificate from the
competent authority) with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate
(45% of mark in aggregate in case of SC, ST, SEBC and PH candidates)
excluding marks secured in ext ra optional.
4.2 She / he must have passed Odia as MIL up to HSC level or any such
equivalent or higher examination (+2) or have passed Odia in single subject
Examination conducted by BSE, Odisha of HSC standard or should have
passed HSC Examination of BSE, Od isha in Odia medium with MIL other than
Odia. Such candidates who have passed HSC Examination of BSE, Odisha
without Odia as MIL should produce a certificate to the effect from the
Headmaster of the concerned school that he / she has passed HSC
Examination in Odia medium.
§ The candidates seeking admission in Government ETEI, Urdu, Cuttack
must have passed Urdu as MIL up to HSC standard / equivalent
examination as notified by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha,
Cuttack.
§ The candidates seeking admission in Government ETEI, Telugu must
have passed Telugu as MIL up to HSC standard / equivalent
examination as notified by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha,
Cuttack.
N.B. : The Candidates who have appeared the last qualifying
examination i.e. Higher Secondary and its equivalent
(whose results are yet to be published) are also eligible
to apply with a pre-condition that their selection for
candidature shall only be considered for admission if
they secure the required percentage of marks as
mentioned under eligib ility criteria at Para 4.1 above
during the time of Counselling.
4.3 The age limit as on 30.06.2017 :

Note : The upper age limit is inclusive of age relaxation for relevant groups as admissible under Rules

4.4 Residential Certificate :
§ The candidates except Outlying Odia Tract (OOT) category must be
permanent residents of Odisha. To that effect each candidate shall furnish
a permanent residential certificate (issued after 30.06.2016) in the
prescribed format issued in favour of him / her by the Tahasildar /
Additional Tahasildar concerned.
4.5 Caste Certificate :
§ In case of SC, ST and SEBC candidates, the Caste Certificate should be
issued by the concerned Tahasildar / Additional Tahasildar. The Caste
Certificate shall be considered by virtue of birth only (Caste by
marriage or adoption will not be considered).
4.6 PH Candidates:
§ Disability type-wise reservation of seats shall be made for the candidates
under this category – Visually Impaired: 1%, Hearing Impaired: 1% and
Orthopedically Handicapped: 1% as per Resolution No. 3404 – 2R / 1 – 3
/ 2004/Gen dated 13.02.2006 of the GA Department, Odisha.
§ The Blind and orthopedically handicapped candidates with disability of
minimum 40% are eligible to apply.
§ The Hearing Impaired candidates with disability of minimum loss of
hearing of 40% or more are eligible to apply.
§ Such candidates are required to submit PH Certificate issued in their
favour in the prescribed form by District Medical Board. Candidates in
possession of temporary disability certificate shall submit their latest
renewal certificates. The candidates cannot claim reservation in two types
of disabilities to fulfill the minimum percentage of disability.
§ The selected candidates shall be referred immediately to the Appellate
Medical Board constituted at SCB Medical College, Cuttack / MKCG,
Berhampur (RDC Division-wise) for verification.
§ On the basis of the report of the Appellate Medical Board, the
candidate who would be suggested by it having 40% or more than
40% disability shall be given admission. If the degree of disability
shall found to be less than 40% by the Appellate Medical Board,
the provisional selection of candidate under PH Category shall be
cancelled.
§ However, such candidates shall pursue their studies within the existing
facilities available in the institutions until special provisions are made for
them.
§ During examination, 20 minutes compensatory time per hour shall be
allowed.
§ If a candidate desires to take scribe of his own or wants the provision of a
Scribe from the Examination Centre, he / she shall intimate the concerned
Head of the Examination Centre one day before for making necessary
arrangements.
§ The Head of the Examination Centre shall verify the PH certificate of the
candidate before allowing the candidate to use the Scribe as well as the
identity proof of the Scribe, if arranged by the candidate himself.

§ All PH candidates shall be allowed to give examination in the ground floor
only.
§ All other conditions mentioned in the letter No. WCD-DW1-Misc.1/2013 –
18357/CS (W&CD) dated 17.09.2013 shall be followed.
4.7 OOT Candidates :
§ Candidates from the Outlying Odia speaking Tracts of Andhra Pradesh,
Jharkhand, Chhatisgarh and West Bengal with required academic
qualification / conditions as indicated above are eligible to apply.
§ They are required to submit permanent Residential Certificate to that
effect, issued in prescribed form in their favour by the competent
authority of their respective state.
§ Only those candidates who have prosecuted their studies at least
up to High School Certificate Examination in their respective states
will be considered for selection under the Outlying Odia Speaking
Tract quota.
§ They should have passed Odia as a subject of study in HSC examination
or any such equivalent or higher examination or have passed Odia as a
subject in single subject examination conducted by BSE, Odisha of HSC
standard.
§ Kashmir Migrant: The following type of relaxation will be admissible in
case Kashmir Migrants in the ma tter of their admission (vide Government
letter No. 6110 / SME dated 15.04.2010)
§ Extension in date of admission by about 30 days.
§ Relaxation in cut-off percentage up to 10% subject to minimum
eligibility requirement.
§ Increase in intake capacity up to 5% - course – wise.
§ Reservation of at least one seat in merit quota in technical /
professional institutions.
§ Waiving of domicile requirements
§ Facilitation of migration in second and subsequent years.
4.8 Ex-servicemen Candidates :
§ The person who is retired from Defence service (Army, Navy and Airforce)
is to be considered as Ex-serviceman except Central Army Police Force
(CAPF). The son / unmarried daughter / spouse of Ex-serviceman
including self are eligible to apply on submission of Certificate issued by
the Rajya Sainik Board, Nageswar Tangi, Odisha, Bhubaneswar in
favour of his / her parents / spouse at the time of filling up of the Online
Application Form. The certificate must reflect the name of ex-serviceman,
the date of entry to the defence service and retirement, his relationship
with the candidate, seal and signature of the concerned authority.
4.9 Green Card Holder Candidates :
§ The candidates under this category are eligible to apply (as per
Government Resolution No.29055/HFW dated 09.11.2012) on submission
of the prescribed Green Card of Health and Family Welfare Department,
Government of Odisha issued by CDMO concerned.
§ The Green Card holder shall be treated under this category
provided the dates of operation of parents are prior to 09.11.2012.
§ The name and date of birth of the candidate and name of the
parents written on Green Card must be same as reflected in HSC
certificate of the candidate.

4.10 Sportsperson Category Candidates :
§ In case of Sportsperson Category, candidates must have represented
Odisha in National School Games organized by School Games Federation
of India and representing Odisha / India in national / international
championship organized by recognized National / International Federation
in Senior / Junior / Youth category in the disciplines approved by Sports
and Youth Services Department, Odisha.
§ The Director, Secondary Education, Odisha is to countersign the
certificates issued by School Games Federation of India.
§ The Director, Sports and Youth Services will issue weightage certificate in
respect of Certificates issues by National / International Federation.
§ The above conditions are approved vide Government Resolution No.
2859/SYS dated 21.11.2003.
§ Certificate issued by any officer / organization other than the above
conditions shall not be entertained.

Additional Eligibility condition for BIET Quota (in addition to common eligibility

§ Candidates belong to SC and ST cat egories of the concerned districts
(Mayurbhanja for BIET, Gorumahisani; Rayagada for BIET, Gunupur;
Nawarangpur for BIET, Umerkote and Sundargarh for BIET, Kuanrmunda) can
apply as per their permanent resident in the respective districts.

Additional Eligibility condition for Olchiki – Santali Quota (in addition to

§ Those candidates who can read and write Santali (Olchiki) language are
eligible to apply.
§ The Santali Candidates seeking admission in DIET, Mayurbhanj at Baripada
for Olchiki D.El.Ed. Course shall have to appear the MIL Subject of Entrance
Test in Olchiki Language compulsory.
§ The selected candidates shall be referred immediately to a Board
constituted for verification of reading and writing ability in Santali
language at DIET, Baripada. On the basis of the report of the Board,
the admission shall be given only to the candidates suggested by it.

Additional Eligibility condition for Christian Community Quota (in addition to
common eligibility condit ions mentioned at Para 4.0) :
§ All the women candidates interested for admission to D.El.Ed. (C.T.) course in
Thompson Women’s Training School, Cuttack shall have to appear the general
entrance test conducted by TE & SCERT.
§ 50% of the total number of seat s i.e. 25 seats will be reserved for the
Christian minority community women candidates and rest 25 seats for other
women candidates.
§ Out of the total 25 number of minority seats, 13 seats will be filled up by the
Christian minority candidates and 12 seats by the Dalit Christian. In case of
non availability of qualified candidates in any category there will be
interchange of seats.
§ Christian minority candidates shall produce the required documents (ST /
SEBC) as their caste certificate in support of their caste and other documents
etc. as per the requirement at the time of admission in the Thompson
women’s training school, Cuttack.
5.7 D.El.Ed. (Kandhamal Quota) at ETEI, Phulbani and Baliguda : 50

Additional Eligibility condition for Kandhamal District Quota (in addition to
common eligibility conditions mentioned at Para 4.0) :
§ Those candidates who are permanent residents of Kandhamal district can
apply under this category.
6.0 Interchange of Seats :
Total seats in each category shall be distributed between Arts /
Commerce and Science discipline candidates on 50 : 50 basis.
If the available seats in any category of Arts / Commerce and Science
happens to be odd number, in such case benefit shall go to the candidates having
the higher career ma rks either in Arts / Commerce and Science category.
§ In case of non-availability of eligible candidates in any one PH category (VI,
HI, OH) and OOT (Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhatishgarh)
Categories, the vacant seats will be filled up by the other PH and OOT
category candidates respectively.
§ Interchange of seats among the institutions keeping the total seat allotted to
different categories intact shall be permitted.
§ The seats earmarked for special reserved candidates shall be
converted and added to total number of seats for direct admission
under Unreserved (UR) category if the specific categories of
candidates are not available.
§ The candidates seeking admission under special reserved category can apply
for any one.
§ In no case SC / ST vacant seats shall be filled up by candidates from other
categories.
7.0 Modalities of Entrance Test :
The whole test is of 02 hours duration carrying 100 marks with two sections.
Section- I carries 40 marks. There shall be 40 questions, each carrying one mark.
Section II carries 60 marks. There shall be 60 questions each carrying one mark
All the questions shall be of multiple choice type.
Venue of the Test :
The Entrance Test shall be conducted in the District Headquarters of all 30 districts
and Bhubaneswar, Berhampur and Rourkela. In case more no. of applicants the centers may
be extended to sub-divisional headquarters. The allotment of Examination Centres shall be
communicated to the candidates through SMS in the mobile number as mentioned by them
in the online application form. They are required to download the Admit Card from the
Website through their login ID after receipt of the said SMS.
Issue of Admit Card :
Admit Cards shall be issued Online. The candidates are required to take print out of
the same and produce at the Examination Centre.

Negative Marking :
The performance of the candidates shall be evaluated both on the basis of correct
and incorrect responses recorded on the OMR sheet. For every incorrect response, 0.25
mark shall be deducted from the marks secured by the candidate for correct responses.
There would be negative marking for a wrong response as well as if more than one
response will be given to a single question.
Date and Time of Entrance Test : 09.07.2017 at 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon
S Y L L A B U S
Selection for admission to the D.El.Ed. Course (General, Urdu, Telugu & Santhali)
shall be made through an Entrance Test from the session 2014-2015.
The Entrance Test shall have Two Sections.
The whole test is of 100 marks. Section-I carries 40 marks. There shall be 40
questions, each carrying one mark. Section I shall include four aspects, which have been
detailed out.
Section II carries 60 marks. There shall be 60 questions each carrying one mark.
All the question shall be multiple choice (MCQ)

The detailed syllabus is as follows :
Section - I
It consists of four aspects covering Language (English), Reasoning, General
Awareness and Teaching Aptitude. This section is compulsory for all the candidates. Each
aspect in this section shall have the weightage of 10 marks and there would be ten
questions in each aspect carrying one mark each.

A broad guideline for each aspect is detailed below.
§ Language (English): this would include comprehension, Vocabulary and Usage.
§ Reasoning: It would cover logical and analytical reasoning.
§ General Awareness: This would include everyday science, Political system and
happening, general information, Educational Commissions & Committees, New
Educational Initiatives, Educational Organizations.
§ Teaching Aptitude: This aspect should cover application of common sense in
handling Educational Contexts, Classroom Situations, Learner and Learning
Problems, Purpose of Education, Role of other agencies in school management
and teaching learning strategies.

8.0 Selection and Placement :
State Level Selection of all categories of candidates shall be made through Entrance
Test on the basis of their marks secured in Entrance Test .
The result of the Entrance Test does not ensure the confirmation and guarantee of
admitting the student to the Course as it is subject to verification of the authenticity and
appropriateness of the documents.
Selection and placement of candidate shall be made purely on the basis of marks
secured by him / her in the Entrance Test. Merit list shall be published on the basis of the
result of Entrance Test both category-wise and subject-wise. In case of tie, the higher
percentage of marks at +2 level shall be taken into consideration. If the +2 Mark becomes
tie, in that case, the candidate who born earlier will come first in the Merit List.
Placement of candidates will be made through face-to-face Counselling.
There shall be no transfer of candidates throughout the admission process.
N.B. : The selected PH candidates shall be immediately referred to Appellate
Medical Board, SCB Medical College, to verify the genuineness and
authenticity of their disability. On the basis of the report of the
Appellate Medical Board, the admission shall be given to the
candidates suggested by it. The authority of the Appellate Medical
Board shall be requested to submit their verification report within 15
days of time in order to ensure the admission of candidate.
How to obtain Information Brochure and Application Form :
§ The Information Brochure and Online Application Form is available in the
website : www.scertodisha.nic.in or www.scertodishaadmission.in
§ Syllabus of the entrance examination is available in the website as well as in
the Information Brochure.
§ General and SEBC category candidates are required to pay Rs. 300.00
(Rupees Three Hundred only). SC and ST category candidates are required to
pay Rs. 150.00 (Rupees One Hundred Fifty Only). The candidates are
required to make the payment through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net
Banking / Bank Deposit in Axis Bank.
9.0 Documents to be submitted at the time of Counselling :
All candidates are required to submit one set of Xerox copy of the follow ing
documents with self-attested.
§ Downloaded Online Application Form
§ Downloaded Intimation letter for Counselling
§ All Certificates and Marksheets, in original
§ Certificate of Headmaster of the school to the effect that he / she has passed
HSC in Odia medium (in the cases who have passed from Board of Secondary
Education, Odisha without Odia as MIL).
§ Residential Certificate issued by Tahasildar / Additional Tahasildar after
30.06.2016.
§ Latest Caste Certificate in case of SC, ST and SEBC candidates, by virtue of
birth. OBC certificate shall not be considered

§ Physically Handicapped Certificate in case of PH candidates
§ Ex-serviceman Certificate in case of son / unmarried daughter / spouse issued
only by the Rajya Sainik Board, Nageswar Tangi, Odisha, Bhubaneswar
§ Green Card in case of Green Card Holder provided the dates of operation
of parents are prior to 09.11.2012.
N.B: Xerox Copies of all certificates / mark sheets shall be signed by the candidates in full.

Course (All) : The candidate must fulfill all the eligibility conditions given below : 4.1 The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary / +2 Examination in Arts / Science / Commerce or its equivalent examination from recognized Boards / Councils (the candidates shall have to submit equivalent certificate from the competent authority) with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate (45% of mark in aggregate in case of SC, ST, SEBC and PH candidates) excluding marks secured in ext ra optional. 4.2 She / he must have passed Odia as MIL up to HSC level or any such equivalent or higher examination (+2) or have passed Odia in single subject Examination conducted by BSE, Odisha of HSC standard or should have passed HSC Examination of BSE, Od isha in Odia medium with MIL other than Odia. Such candidates who have passed HSC Examination of BSE, Odisha without Odia as MIL should produce a certificate to the effect from the Headmaster of the concerned school that he / she has passed HSC Examination in Odia medium. § The candidates seeking admission in Government ETEI, Urdu, Cuttack must have passed Urdu as MIL up to HSC standard / equivalent examination as notified by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, Cuttack. § The candidates seeking admission in Government ETEI, Telugu must have passed Telugu as MIL up to HSC standard / equivalent examination as notified by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, Cuttack.   • 5. 5 4.4 Residential Certificate : § The candidates except Outlying Odia Tract (OOT) category must be permanent residents of Odisha. To that effect each candidate shall furnish a permanent residential certificate (issued after 30.06.2016) in the prescribed format issued in favour of him / her by the Tahasildar / Additional Tahasildar concerned. 4.5 Caste Certificate : § In case of SC, ST and SEBC candidates, the Caste Certificate should be issued by the concerned Tahasildar / Additional Tahasildar. The Caste Certificate shall be considered by virtue of birth only (Caste by marriage or adoption will not be considered). 4.6 PH Candidates: § Disability type-wise reservation of seats shall be made for the candidates under this category – Visually Impaired: 1%, Hearing Impaired: 1% and Orthopedically Handicapped: 1% as per Resolution No. 3404 – 2R / 1 – 3 / 2004/Gen dated 13.02.2006 of the GA Department, Odisha. § The Blind and orthopedically handicapped candidates with disability of minimum 40% are eligible to apply. § The Hearing Impaired candidates with disability of minimum loss of hearing of 40% or more are eligible to apply. § Such candidates are required to submit PH Certificate issued in their favour in the prescribed form by District Medical Board. Candidates in possession of temporary disability certificate shall submit their latest renewal certificates. The candidates cannot claim reservation in two types of disabilities to fulfill the minimum percentage of disability. § The selected candidates shall be referred immediately to the Appellate Medical Board constituted at SCB Medical College, Cuttack / MKCG, Berhampur (RDC Division-wise) for verification. § On the basis of the report of the Appellate Medical Board, the candidate who would be suggested by it having 40% or more than 40% disability shall be given admission. If the degree of disability shall found to be less than 40% by the Appellate Medical Board, the provisional selection of candidate under PH Category shall be cancelled. § However, such candidates shall pursue their studies within the existing facilities available in the institutions until special provisions are made for them. § During examination, 20 minutes compensatory time per hour shall be allowed. § If a candidate desires to take scribe of his own or wants the provision of a Scribe from the Examination Centre, he / she shall intimate the concerned Head of the Examination Centre one day before for making necessary arrangements. § The Head of the Examination Centre shall verify the PH certificate of the candidate before allowing the candidate to use the Scribe as well as the identity proof of the Scribe, if arranged by the candidate himself.
  • 6. 6 § All PH candidates shall be allowed to give examination in the ground floor only. § All other conditions mentioned in the letter No. WCD-DW1-Misc.1/2013 – 18357/CS (W&CD) dated 17.09.2013 shall be followed. 4.7 OOT Candidates : § Candidates from the Outlying Odia speaking Tracts of Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhatisgarh and West Bengal with required academic qualification / conditions as indicated above are eligible to apply. § They are required to submit permanent Residential Certificate to that effect, issued in prescribed form in their favour by the competent authority of their respective state. § Only those candidates who have prosecuted their studies at least up to High School Certificate Examination in their respective states will be considered for selection under the Outlying Odia Speaking Tract quota. § They should have passed Odia as a subject of study in HSC examination or any such equivalent or higher examination or have passed Odia as a subject in single subject examination conducted by BSE, Odisha of HSC standard. § Kashmir Migrant: The following type of relaxation will be admissible in case Kashmir Migrants in the ma tter of their admission (vide Government letter No. 6110 / SME dated 15.04.2010) § Extension in date of admission by about 30 days. § Relaxation in cut-off percentage up to 10% subject to minimum eligibility requirement. § Increase in intake capacity up to 5% - course – wise. § Reservation of at least one seat in merit quota in technical / professional institutions. § Waiving of domicile requirements § Facilitation of migration in second and subsequent years. 4.8 Ex-servicemen Candidates : § The person who is retired from Defence service (Army, Navy and Airforce) is to be considered as Ex-serviceman except Central Army Police Force (CAPF). The son / unmarried daughter / spouse of Ex-serviceman including self are eligible to apply on submission of Certificate issued by the Rajya Sainik Board, Nageswar Tangi, Odisha, Bhubaneswar in favour of his / her parents / spouse at the time of filling up of the Online Application Form. The certificate must reflect the name of ex-serviceman, the date of entry to the defence service and retirement, his relationship with the candidate, seal and signature of the concerned authority. 4.9 Green Card Holder Candidates : § The candidates under this category are eligible to apply (as per Government Resolution No.29055/HFW dated 09.11.2012) on submission of the prescribed Green Card of Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha issued by CDMO concerned. § The Green Card holder shall be treated under this category provided the dates of operation of parents are prior to 09.11.2012. § The name and date of birth of the candidate and name of the parents written on Green Card must be same as reflected in HSC certificate of the candidate.

  • 10. 10 Additional Eligibility condition for Kandhamal District Quota (in addition to common eligibility conditions mentioned at Para 4.0) : § Those candidates who are permanent residents of Kandhamal district can apply under this category. 6.0 Interchange of Seats : Total seats in each category shall be distributed between Arts / Commerce and Science discipline candidates on 50 : 50 basis. If the available seats in any category of Arts / Commerce and Science happens to be odd number, in such case benefit shall go to the candidates having the higher career ma rks either in Arts / Commerce and Science category. § In case of non-availability of eligible candidates in any one PH category (VI, HI, OH) and OOT (Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhatishgarh) Categories, the vacant seats will be filled up by the other PH and OOT category candidates respectively. § Interchange of seats among the institutions keeping the total seat allotted to different categories intact shall be permitted. § The seats earmarked for special reserved candidates shall be converted and added to total number of seats for direct admission under Unreserved (UR) category if the specific categories of candidates are not available. § The candidates seeking admission under special reserved category can apply for any one. § In no case SC / ST vacant seats shall be filled up by candidates from other categories. 7.0 Modalities of Entrance Test : The whole test is of 02 hours duration carrying 100 marks with two sections. Section- I carries 40 marks. There shall be 40 questions, each carrying one mark. Section II carries 60 marks. There shall be 60 questions each carrying one mark All the questions shall be of multiple choice type. Venue of the Test : The Entrance Test shall be conducted in the District Headquarters of all 30 districts and Bhubaneswar, Berhampur and Rourkela. In case more no. of applicants the centers may be extended to sub-divisional headquarters. The allotment of Examination Centres shall be communicated to the candidates through SMS in the mobile number as mentioned by them in the online application form. They are required to download the Admit Card from the Website through their login ID after receipt of the said SMS. Issue of Admit Card : Admit Cards shall be issued Online. The candidates are required to take print out of the same and produce at the Examination Centre.
  • 11. 11 Negative Marking : The performance of the candidates shall be evaluated both on the basis of correct and incorrect responses recorded on the OMR sheet. For every incorrect response, 0.25 mark shall be deducted from the marks secured by the candidate for correct responses. There would be negative marking for a wrong response as well as if more than one response will be given to a single question. Course (General, Urdu, Telugu & Santhali) shall be made through an Entrance Test from the session 2014-2015. The Entrance Test shall have Two Sections. The whole test is of 100 marks.   • 13. 13 8.0 Selection and Placement : State Level Selection of all categories of candidates shall be made through Entrance Test on the basis of their marks secured in Entrance Test . The result of the Entrance Test does not ensure the confirmation and guarantee of admitting the student to the Course as it is subject to verification of the authenticity and appropriateness of the documents. Selection and placement of candidate shall be made purely on the basis of marks secured by him / her in the Entrance Test. Merit list shall be published on the basis of the result of Entrance Test both category-wise and subject-wise. In case of tie, the higher percentage of marks at +2 level shall be taken into consideration. If the +2 Mark becomes tie, in that case, the candidate who born earlier will come first in the Merit List. Placement of candidates will be made through face-to-face Counselling. There shall be no transfer of candidates throughout the admission process. N.B. : The selected PH candidates shall be immediately referred to Appellate Medical Board, SCB Medical College, to verify the genuineness and authenticity of their disability. On the basis of the report of the Appellate Medical Board, the admission shall be given to the candidates suggested by it. The authority of the Appellate Medical Board shall be requested to submit their verification report within 15 days of time in order to ensure the admission of candidate.
