experience advancement opportunities
EDUCATION:
B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Techno India, Salt Lake (WBUT), Kolkata [2008-2012] with
DGPA 8.01
RELEVANT PROJECTS:
● “Cooperative Caching in Wireless Networks” [Duration: Jan 2012 – May 2012 at Techno India, Salt Lake]:
This project was a final year project and was about the design and implementation of co-operative cache in
wireless p2p networks, and propose solution to find the best place to cache the data. This reduces the overhead
of copying data between the user space and kernel space. I was a part of 4 member team and worked out most
of the Coding part and demonstrated the project in front of Staff and Junior students. The backend code is
written in C and C++ programming languages and graphical user interface using GTK (GIMP Toolkit)
● “Traffic Control Game” [Duration: Feb 2011 – May 2011 at Techno India, Salt Lake]: It was a curriculum project
As a team of two we designed a 2D game using OpenGL, The game plan was, on selecting menu entries, user
could select the number of Trucks and their Speed to play the game, where the game was to drive the truck on
their respective lane to avoid any accident. I have taken care of the Design part and a little Coding part. This
Game was designed on a Windows Platform using Microsoft Visual Studio 8.0 for the C++ coding and OpenGL
software package for the Graphics part.
