How United Way Works United Way of America, 2008 I am going to share with you how the United Way works in the Northern Santa Barbara County and how you get involved. You have 2 business cards – the most important card you may ever have is the 2-1-1 card….the least important card you may ever have is my business card, however I will tell you why it is important that you keep it.
Staff – currently 15 paid staff. Board – approximately 50 Volunteers – United Way utilizes THOUSANDS of volunteers each year helping with everything from special events (race parking, Women’s Initiative, Daytona 5K) to the Citizen’s Review Process where agencies are reviewed, etc. How United Way Works United Way of America, 2008
