Communities In Schools is the nation's largest
dropout prevention organization. The mission of
Communities In Schools is to surround students with a
community of support, empowering them to stay in
school and achieve in life.
Last year, 628 GC students tracked over
6,402 hours with Communities in Schools!
2. How can YOU get involved?
Communities in Schools connects college students with
Baldwin County preschool, elementary, and high school students.
You can:
Mentor or tutor students in Baldwin County schools,
the Early Learning Center, or Early College
Help with special events or programs for children such as:
MLK Jr. Day of Service
Smiley Kids Club
Dr. Seuss Read Across America
Literacy Fair
Talk to a Volunteer Manager at The GIVE Center today to start
volunteering with Communities in Schools!
