1. Recce
Option 1 – Free Recording (Quiet Room or Ringwood School Radio)
As to the recording,the RingwoodSchool Radiohasits benefitsas it is free, which
means we can save more money on the budget to allocate to other areas of the
advertisement production. However, on the downside, the quality of the
recording may not be up to the standard of a professional recording studio. We
chose option 1 for our adverts because it is a cheaper alternative to the
professional recording studio. In addition, it is a better choice than using an
empty, quiet room as it will sound nicer and much more professional. Below are
pictures we took to use for the recce and risk assessment.
Option 2 – Professional Recording Studio
If we were to actually have a £2000 budget we would record our audio at “Room
with a View” Recording & Production Facility which is stationed in St Leonards,
Ringwood Hampshire.

Phoebe called up the company to ask how much it would cost to possibly come
in to record for an hour and we found out that their company works at an hourly
rate of £50. We thought this was a good price seeing as they have all the
equipment we would need to record the audio. Furthermore, they have worked
with, as they have stated on their website, a range of professional and amateur
music artist which we found to be a good sign as we now know that they are
a trusted company.
