Aroma: Anise leads the
mild aroma of this
unusual gin, then lime
plus fir tree, mint and
almonds.
Palate: Slightly viscous
with a lemony faintly
saline note.
Finish: Brisk cooling
finish that is creamy and
smooth.

Aroma: Moderate intensity.
Honeysuckle and dusty
violet sit atop piney juniper
with coriander and
indistinct spice.
Palate: Predominantly
floral. Soapy violet with
jasmine facets. Spice led
juniper, black peppercorns,
pink lady apples and roses.
Finish: Radiant glow of
honeysuckle flowers,
musky rose and a touch of
cucumber.

The name gin came
from the Dutch Genever
or Jenever from the
Latin for juniper
juniperus.

that gin came from

courage in battle.

when drank with
tonic water. This
helped fight off
malaria in the
colonies.

Aroma: It has a bite,
spicy with a fair bit
of heat.
Palate: Coriander,
cloves, nutmeg, oily
bitter orange rind
and a touch of
herbaceous juniper.
Finish: Peppery, less
floral.

Limone
Aroma: Rich with citrus oil
notes, lots and lots of lemon,
with bitter orange rind notes.
A faint terpenic conifer note as
well.
Palate: Lemon with traditional
touches around the edges.
Early palate coriander, juniper
and hints of licorice and feint
hints of fennel.
Finish: Lemon, not just
lemoncello without the sugar
but a very citrus forward gin.
