6. Why is it cool to you?

JupiterOne
There were several reasons why I was strongly interested in JupiterOne:
● Technology: JupiterOne addresses one of the most important challenges companies face today. Just as we saw many
years ago with companies moving to the web (and then mobile), now we have this massive digital transformation that
is moving organizations from the data center to the cloud. This shift to cloud service providers and SaaS-based
applications makes it a must for organizations to have contextual visibility into all of their cyber assets in order to
identify gaps in security and reduce their attack surface..
● Market Validation: Seeing the value of technologies like JupiterOne, research firm Gartner identified this market
trend as an emerging area of technological innovation and coined it as CAASM. or cyber asset attack surface
management. Also, among JupiterOne’s strategic partners is Cisco. In the past, I have worked closely with Cisco on a
similar OEM partnership, allowing us to sell through their Global Price List. This is not only fantastic validation for
JupiterOne from a market leader, but it also provides an incredible revenue opportunity.
● Timing: As an early stage cybersecurity company, JupiterOne offers an interesting mix of technology, company
culture, and market demand, that made now the right time to join. This follows a similar recipe to that of successful
companies that I’ve worked for in the past.
● Leadership: JupiterOne has a strong executive leadership team, including our CEO, Erkang Zheng, and our CISO,
Sounil Yu. They are both very well respected in the industry and are all-around security rock stars.
● Geography: Living in Atlanta, it is refreshing to work for a company like JupiterOne with headquarters in North
Carolina, as opposed to more common locations on the West and East coasts.
7. What are YOUR goals with
the organization?
7
As a Sales professional, my primary goal is to develop and grow a designated market region
in the way of annual recurring revenue.
It is also rewarding to help organizations address cybersecurity challenges that would
otherwise keep them from executing on their mission.
A big challenge I do see, and one of my goals, is trying to help organizations differentiate
and understand the various cloud security solutions that exist. There are a lot of vendors
out there, and it can be confusing, perhaps even overwhelming for some.
Another goal that I have, especially for a company at an early stage like JupiterOne, is to
go above and beyond in many areas, including:
● Share ideas I have with others to benefit the company as a whole (and not just my
territory from a sales perspective)
● Continue to develop my professional network: CISOs, practitioners, partners, fellow
counterparts, etc.
● Opportunistically develop business in places/areas we have yet to explore

8. What does JupiterOne
integrate with?
8
As a leading Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM) solution, deep integrations are key.
Integrations are executed through APIs (agentless), thus reducing integration friction.
Integrations with the core cloud services providers is table stakes: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud. We go very
deep with those integrations to extract as much data from all the cyber assets in the cloud as possible. Using a
graph database to analyze relationships between these assets, we give visibility into the entire ecosystem of the
organization’s infrastructure.
Additional integrations cover a wide variety of categories, including Identity Providers, Mobile Device
Management, Endpoint Detection & Response, Source Control, Vulnerability Scanning, Awareness Training, HR
platforms, and other SaaS providers to for things such as automatic ticketing, notification, incident triage, and
more.
New integrations are added to JupiterOne on a weekly basis. Integrations are critical to our customers, and
having the product support a strong baseline of integrations is key. In addition, our easy-to-use API allows
customers to add custom integrations to legacy or proprietary systems or to any solutions we have yet to
complete an integration.
A list of available integrations can be found at https://try.jupiterone.com/integrations.
