Walk of
Heroes
“A Walk of Heroes” is a set of
banners that tells the story of Bob
Feller and the 36 other Major
League Baseball Hall of Fa ers, as
well as Hall of Fame Frick Award
Winner Jerry Coleman, all of whom
served our military during World
War II. It is through this visual
display that the Foundation seeks
to educate the youth of today on
the lessons of citizenship, service,
sacrifice and legacy.
While many know Bob Feller as
one of the greatest pitchers to ever
grace the baseball diamond, few
remember that he also served our
country when he made the selfless
decision to enlist just days after the
attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941; the
first American professional athlete
to do so.
THANK YOU
to our corporate sponsors for their
annual support of the Bob Feller Act
of Valor Foundation
