- 3. Overview Peter has workedglobally with large System z (mainframe) systems for over 40 years, including 18 years at IBM and 10 years at Amdahl Corporation. His experience covered all areas of mainframe systems, from operations through application programming through senior consultant on large DBMS systems. He led project teams at numerous customer sites. He also designed, and delivered worldwide, advanced internal and customer courses on systems and data analysis, with special emphasis on integrity and performance issues. Later he worked with CASE for 18 months at Texas Instruments as a senior IEF consultant, covering all stages of the application life cycle from strategic planning through implementation, now known as DevOps. For three years he worked worldwide on client/server systems, specializing in migrating users of mainframe legacy systems. He worked independently in the US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. He was then a senior consultant for Tangent Group in Australia. He is experienced in the James Martin Methodologies and was the Pacific Basin's Apple Corporation accredited instructor and consultant in their client/server technical architecture. In recent years, Peter has been keeping up with the latest technologies as well as performing his own research and development projects. Employment Overview Strategic Consulting Partnerships (SCP) 05/09 – present Peter had been working with SCP business development and management on a number of internal SCP projects essential to build SCP’s go to market model. Peter has then been assisting with development of these opportunities to hand over to other SCP consultants to execute or performed the initial services himself. Over the last 2 years he has been very involved with SCP‘s RES-IT Business Partnership with 2 visits to RES in Milan, Italy and preparation for an IBM Asia/Pacific Roadshow. He has performed a 3 week onsite Proof Of Concept at Bank Of China with a senior RES Product Manager from Milan and IBM. It will lead to contracts in Q1 2014. Defining the Moment (DtM) 10/04 – 05/09 Peter was again working on a number of internal DtM projects essential DtM’s Go To Market (GTM) model: - He was instrumental in a research and development project, which lead to a presentation to senior management of a large System z American software company to better utilize mainframe IMS functions. Ultimately this built up to over 20 DtM consultants working for this large American software company in an innovative ‘outsourcing’ agreement.
