Dear Sir/Madam:
This is in reference for your job.
I graduated from Kutztown University with a BS in Education and Rider University
with an MA in Reading and Literacy Education. Currently, I am employed for
Brookfield Schools in Cherry Hill, NJ. Throughout this experience, I have worked
extensively with students with emotional and behavioral needs in the school setting
and hospital setting. I have generated academic, behavior plans and Individualized
Education Programs (IEP) with therapists and administration.
During the years of 2000-2009, I worked as a Special Education Teacher for the
Rowan-Salisbury Schools in North Carolina. Throughout this experience, I have
worked in the settings of inclusion, resource and self-contained classrooms on the
middle school level. I have worked extensively with parents’, faculty and students in
designing and creating IEPs, behavior assessments, as well as academic plans that
will benefit the student’s performance in and out of the classroom.
My philosophy is to inspire and challenge students to meet high academic
standards, to lead ethical lives, and demonstrate knowledgeable, responsible
citizenship in an increasingly challenging world.
Please contact me at (704) 798-9283 to arrange an interview at your convenience. I
look forward to talking with you soon.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Prerna Gupta
