when he travels back to Afghanistan. Although he is hesitant at first, he travels to an orphanage seeking deliverance. His journey there is not only
for himself, but because "true redemption is when guilt leads to good" (Hosseini 302). Salim, too, feels guilty for his actions or otherwise he would
