Shift Supervisor (2013 to present):
 Ensure Key Safety Leadership Behaviors, all safety rules, policies and
procedures are met; maintain a safe working environment.
 Ensure housekeeping and workplace organization standards are at the
highest level.
 Direct and coordinate all production employee activities to producing the
highest quality product.
 Ensure product quality meets or exceeds internal and external customer
specifications.
 Monitor various graphs and charts of daily operating conditions to ensure
stability of the operation. Assure batch, furnace, bath, and lehr targets are
met using ERS and other monitoring tools as a guide.
 Assure that targets that are put in daily notes are being achieved.
 Maintain positive labor relations with all employees to ensure optimum
cooperation and work to resolve conflict.
 Supervising between 10-15 operators at any given time.
 Assisted in training and qualifying (7) hot end operators & (2) hot end
supervisors.
 Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to ensure matters of
mutual concern are addressed and resolved.
 Support Cascade of Briefing requirements (daily team briefings, monthly
team meetings, etc.).
 Maintain constructive and candid relationships by addressing issues in a
timely manner.
 Direct and coordinate continuous improvement activities utilizing data
driven problem solving techniques.
 Perform various special assignments as deemed necessary by plant
management.

RG-Steel Railroad Holdings, LLC. Sparrows Point, M.D. (2007 to 2012)
Supervisor of Railroad Projects (2011 to 2012):
 Build a railroad maintenance tracking program within a tab ware system.
 Develop and implement a track, car repair, and locomotive inspection /
repair program.
 Work directly with an RMI team that analyzes an AS400 program daily
and implements new options that helps the railroad perform more safely,
efficiently and cost effective.
Supervisor of Railroad Transportation (2009 to 2011):
 Accountable for the safety, work schedule and vacations of more than (45)
employees and supervisors.
 Manage the efficient, expedient and cost effective administration of the
complete railroad transportation system.
Shift Manager (2007 to 2009):
 Ensure the safety of shift yardmasters, shift clerks, shift trainmen, and
shift maintenance workers by enforcing plant safety procedures and
policies.
 Give instructions to shift maintenance personnel to ensure that railcars,
locomotives and tracks are in safe conditions to railroad.
 Work closely with plant reliability engineers in the installment of a
maintenance work order system.
AFG Industries, Cinnaminson, N.J. Glass Manufacturing Company (1995 to 2007)
Shift Superintendent (2006 to 2007):
 Responsible for all aspects of the production process (Batching, Furnace,
Tinbath, Lehr, Quality control, Cutting, Maintenance, Warehousing,
Automation and packaging of all glass products).
 Troubleshoot various defects, glass distortion, glass bloom, and all foreign
marks on the bottom and top of the glass surface.
 Work with a glass technical team that develop troubleshooting procedures
to determine if defects were batch, furnace, tinbath, lehr, cutting, line, or
packaging related.
 Work directly with a maintenance team to monitor robot production,
efficiency and minimize automation production losses.
 Ensure the safety of (32) employees by enforcing plant safety procedures
and policies.
 Make sure shift employees are ISO trained.
 Responsible for production scheduling, vacation scheduling and overtime
needs for the shift.
Production Supervisor (2001 to 2006):
 Responsible for the process of making glass (Batching, Furnace, Tin bath
and Lehr).
 Responsible for the safety of seven employees and the process of
generating the highest production output.
Hot end production technician (1996 to 2001):
 Run the batching system, operate the furnace, be the team leader of the tin
bath and operate the lehr.
Quality Assurance and Production Technician (1995- 1996):
 Responsible for packaging, cutting, and assuring the quality of the glass.
Training:
 OSHA certified in 2011
 More than 140 classroom hours of leadership training.
 48 classroom hours of current homeland security training.
 43 classroom hours annually of drug and alcohol training by the Federal
Railroad Administration.
 40 classroom hours of current railroad track safety training by the FRA.
 Participated in (3) complete rebuilds of a float glass furnace, tin bath and
lehr.
 First aid CPR/AED trained and certified
