PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY:
I am an ambitious newly qualified graduate with a B.Eng. (Hons) in Sustainable Design and a
BEng. (Ord) in Electronics and Electrical Engineering both received from Dundalk Institute of
Technology. In addition to academic qualifications I also have experience in the manufacturing
industry where I applied practical engineering skills. I am currently employed with BWT Pharma
and biotech, were I am an automation engineer.

Dissertation: This was a one year project to design and build a small hydro powered device
capable of powering a mobile phone or other small device. The device interfaced with lab view
to monitor the different pressures entering the turbine and to monitor the power being produced.

Graduate Automation Engineer
Duties: Drawing Preparation, Input/output Generation from P&ID diagram, preparation of bill of
materials including PLC components/switchgear components etc, Programming Of PLCs mainly
Allen Bradley and Siemen and HMI generation, Preparation of system configuration for desired
application or project, Design PLC and HMI as per the project requirements, I/O testing,
Conducting Pre Factory acceptance and factory acceptance tests in line with the clients
requirements, Commission of PLCs on site and Exposure in communication protocols such as
Modbus, Ethernet, Profibus etc.
Along with becoming familiar with the process involved within the skids produced by BWT.
