As a Mechanical Engineer for about 8 years from March, 2006 till January, 2014 at Swayambhu
Baroodkhana, government factory under directorate of defense production, Nepal army. Swayambhu
Barood khana is the only chemical industry in Nepal which produces Civil explosive, which is used in
the tunneling and road construction and military explosive especially propellants.
AUG 2012 – JAN 1014: Chief Maintenance officer in Swayambhu Baroodkhana, Kathmandu
 Management of mechanical workshop, tools, equipment and spare parts to insure quality
maintenance.
 Planning and executing preventive and break down maintenance of machines used in production
like chiller, boilers, compressor, cartidging, press, centrifuge etc.
 Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.
 Preparing tender documents including engineering drawing, material, cost and timing estimate for
procurement of different materials and machinery required annually.
 Supervising and inspecting the installation, modification and commissioning of mechanical systems
in plants.
 Performing task as instructor for training and courses for junior staffs that is carried out inside the
factory for the betterment of their future endeavors and also to achieve the best output of the
