1. Go to Indian Army’s official website, and apply for the position for which you’ve set
your dream upon under JCO / OR Job Posts
2. After registration, you’ll get the dates for Physical and Medical Tests.
3. In Physical Fitness Test (PFT), the candidate’s physical health and strength is
calibrated, and if found within the standards of Indian Army JCO recruitment
procedure, the candidate is further scrutinized in the next rounds.
There are 04 Types of Physical Fitness Tests (PFT)
Endurance Test – 1.6 Kms Run
Strength Test – Pull Ups on Beam (Under Grip)

1. Endurance Test: In JCO/OR recruitment, endurance test judges the candidate on
the basis how fast he can cover the distance of 1.6 Kms.

3. Courage Test: Indian Army is definitely not a thing for the faint hearts. To check
how the candidates behave in difficult situations, the candidates are made to jump
from the ditch of 9 feet.
No marks are allotted for this task. Every candidate must qualify this courage test.

4. Agility Test: In Agility test, the candidates are made to balance their bodies on a
thin rod. Every candidate must qualify the same or they are not allowed for further
rounds.
