A traditional Bulgarian dish.
It is a cold soup, made of
yoghurt, cucumber, garlic,

vegetable oil and water

28. BEAN STEW
TRADITIONAL BULGARIAN DISH YOU CAN’T MISS IT
Ingredients:
Beans - 200 - 300 g, 1 large onion,1
head of garlic, red peppers, tomato
sauce - 200 ml, 1 teaspoon mint,
lovage - 1 tsp, paprika - 1 tsp, 50 ml
oil , salt
Soak the beans in cold water for 3-4
hours and drain. Pour fresh water
and boil all the ingredients /without
the salt/ in an earthenware pot.
When the beans turn tender salt and
boil for another 15-20 minutes.
29. SPINACH WITH RICE
SPRING ECO-DISH EASY TO MAKE
Ingredients:
1 carrot, 3-4 cloves of garlic, 1
tomato, 1 cupful of rice,
400g cleaned spinach, salt to taste,
pepper to taste, cooking oil
Peel and grate the carrot. Stew with
some water and oil on the bottom of
a pan. After a few minutes, put the
spinach Add the rice and pour 1-2
cupfuls of water. When the rice is
almost ready add the crushed garlic,
chopped tomatoes and spices.
30. STUFFED PEPPERS
Ingredients:
6 peppers, 1 cupful rice, 1 carrot, 1 onion,
vegetation, savory
Stew the onion, finely chopped with a little oil
and water. Add the carrot, grated and stifle
for another 2-3 minutes. Put the rice, a little
water and other spices. Stew until the rice is
almost ready. Stuff the peppers with this
mixture and bake in a moderately hot oven for
20-25 minutes.
