Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessments via risk
graphs and Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA)
are the first step in the determination of Safety
Instrumented Systems (SIS) trips and alarms.
Clark Eriksson have experienced in-house TUV
(Rheinland) Certified Functional Safety Engineers
who undertake reliability analyses at all stages of
the SIS lifecycle.
Our expert and trained SIS experts offer a full
range of SIL and SIS design services. We can
develop periodic test procedures for clients to
maintain safety instrumented systems, as well as
carrying out these tests if required.

• Leading and participating in SIL assessments
(including risk graphs and LOPAs) to determine
target Safety Integrity Levels (SILs) for Safety
Instrumented Functions (SIFs)
• Specification of safety trips carried out by our
fully qualified Electrical and Instrumentation
