! What? Data loading is a way to get information into Operative.One
! When? Use data loading when many items must be created or edited,
and the loader would be faster than the user interface
! Who? Operative.One users with the role AD_MASTER can load data
! Where? Ad Slots, Targets, Product Rate Card Property, Product Cost
Method Pricing, Products, Package Products, Accounts/Contacts can
all be loaded
! How? Complete templates then load in Administration > System >

9. Basic Steps to Load Products/Packages
1. Log a case with support.operative.com to request a product or
package export of the desired tenant, and receive the file
2. Locate desired products/packages; copy into new XLS workbook
3. Make updates/additions to the products/packages and save file
4. Load the saved loader in Administration > System tab > Object
Import/Export
5. Validate changes/additions in the UI by searching for items in
Administration > Ad Master Model > Products
10. Step 1a: Open a Support Case
! Log a case with support.operative.com
! Request product or package export of the desired tenant
! Have a list of items to edit, and the edits you want to make
! Support will send the requested export to you
! Make no changes to column order or headers
!
Note: Operative encourages you to perform the initial upload into a
staging/sandbox tenant; Please contact your Client Partner if you do not
have a sandbox tenant.
11. Step 1b: Receive the Export
! Make no changes to column order or column headers
! Each product has one UPDATE row for its details (targets, tags,
creative specs)
! A product will have a MAP row for each Ad Slot to which it is mapped
12. Step 2: Locate Desired Products, Copy
to New XLS
! Make no changes to column order or headers
! Use filters or other search methods to identify the subset of products
you intend to edit
! Copy and paste the subset, including the column headers, into a new
XLS 97-2003 workbook
! This becomes the file you will load into Operative.One
13. Step 3: Make Edits/Additions to Data
! In the new workbook, make the desired edits/additions
! Save the file
14. Step 4: Load the Modified Template
! Operative.One user with
AD_MASTER role can load
the modified template
