Although government agencies are making significant strides in providing solutions to global warming, the ultimate solution may lay in the hands of

Climatic warming, or what some call global warming, began thousands of years ago. This climatic warming occurs because of natural climate cycles

The green–house effect happens when the gases in our atmosphere, such as methane, carbon dioxide, and water vapor, trap the heat they re–emit the
heat back to earth making it hotter. As a result of the massive burning of fossil fuels the more and more gases that get trapped in our atmosphere the
heat that is retained here on earth is becoming grater and grater leaving us with hotter temperatures. While some green–house effect is necessary to

Reducing Global Warming Our planet, Earth, is surrounded by a shield of atmospheric gases consisting primarily of nitrogen and oxygen. The sun
produces radiation which is most intense at short wavelengths. The atmosphere is almost transparent to this radiation and is absorbed by the earth's

Climate change is an issue that affects all, and yet some do not even accept that it exists. Climate change is causing glaciers to melt, sea levels to
rise, more droughts and heat waves to occur, and even more intense tropical storms. These are just a few examples of the effects of climate change,
but there are even more devastating effects such as polar bears having to search for new food sources, on land, because of the sea ice they rely on for
hunting melting at a more rapid pace. Climate change enthusiasts have even said, "The struggle to save the global environment is in one way much

I cannot recommend nuclear power as an alternative energy resource because many people have experienced accidents and atomic bombs. However,
there are other alternatives such as wind power, tidal power, and solar power. Many people believe that these are expensive. Why not calculate the
cost of global warming into the expense of using fossil fuels? Which is cheaper? In some industrialized countries, those experimental power sources
have succeeded as profitable solutions. If we impose taxes on fossil fuels that will match the expenses we are going to pay to restore our planet,
people will be eager to change their use of fossil fuels to new alternative energy resources.
(3) Recycle usable resources
In many industrialized nations, they do not collect bottles, cans and newspapers for the purpose of recycling. However this is done in many cities in

Developed countries are more likely responsible to produce more CO2 than the developing countries because they use too much technology that
produce such gases. The people of both of the countries can be taught about the importance of trees in their junior level education or the awareness
message can be broadcasted through the communication media. The people of the rural parts of developing countries can be helped by the
organizations like COTAP. COTAP stands for Carbon Offsets To Alleviate Poverty. This organization teaches the rural people of developing countries

Deforestation of tropical rainforests like the Amazon causes the amount of carbon dioxide in the air to increase, due to less photosynthesis taking
place. Also when these trees are cut down they are then burnt which also adds to the amount of carbon dioxide in the air. So reducing the amount of

Global warming is the observed increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere and oceans. Higher temperatures threaten dangerous
consequences: drought, disease, floods, and lost ecosystems. From sweltering heat to rising seas, global warming's effects have already begun. Many
people still believe that since the earth is so big, human beings cannot possibly have any major impact on the way the planet operates. The truth is we
have grown so numerous and our technologies have become so powerful that we are now capable of having a significant influence on many parts of

Another solution, and possibly the first step for the world to work together to reduce global warming, is to put energy efficient, renewable energy, and
vehicle technology solutions in place at a federal level. California has been the only state to step up to the plate. In August 2006, the California state
legislature passed the landmark Global Warming Solutions Act which mandates that the state'sgreenhouse gas emissions be rolled back to 1990 levels
by 2020 (The Vote Heard around the World 1). This first
–in–the–nation law puts a cap on gas emissions from power plants, refineries, and
manufacturing plants. Since the United States currently produces 70 percent of its electricity from fossil fuels and only two percent from renewable
resources, it is certain that by converting into more efficient and renewable energy it would significantly reduce our emissions of heat–trapping gases.
Solutions for global warming include big changes, but they also include little things people can do everyday. My proposal is to simply get the word
out to everyone. Teaching children in school and people at home how to implement steps on helping solve global warming is very important in today's
world. One thing everyone can do is simply reduce emissions from your home energy use by using energy–efficient lighting and appliances, insulating

To be precise, there are two kinds of human's sources such as heat and gases emission that produce from the buildings and the greenhouses and heat
loses that come from the power plants and factories. The buildings and greenhouses emissions are heat and gases emit from any buildings and houses
activities like air–conditioning, using gas for houses and buildings activities, the radiations that come from the electrical equipment. All these reasons
have largely impact on earth's weather due to increasing the proportion of Carbon dioxide (Co2). Many researchers may argue that the building and the
greenhouses emissions get the great benefits to earth's weather and environment because they believe that these emissions have small weight in earth's

possible. However, the human being has altered the natural greenhouse effect, making it one of the most serious threats to sustainable development. In
recent years, several human activities have caused the excessive emission of greenhouse gas, mainly carbon dioxide (CO2), which is responsible for
