 Implemented analytical and problem solving skills in applied bioinformatics. The skill
was displayed in an assessment in which as a research and development scientist, I was
required to provide chitinase for a biotechnology company in order for them to produce
a bio pesticide to degrade chitin.
 Data analysis and interpretation was performed by me during modeling and control in
bioprocess systems. This was displayed during an experiment, using a simulator to
optimise ethanol in the presence of baker’s yeast in a fed batch process.
 Displayed computing skills and efficient team work in practical techniques in molecular
biology. Practical experiment was carried out in determination of genetically modified
plant. The procedures were carried out in a team in contribution from all was
encouraged. An essay was also written on the experiment that was performed, further
developing my report writing skills.
