Ukraine’s revolutionary
situation has given civil
activism a new signifi-
cance
As a consequence
of recent social initiatives,
a new government is
being formed along with
a new civil society, and
cultural policy is evolving
from grass-roots initia-
tives
To enforce practical effi-
ciency of citizens in cul-
ture initiatives, a 2-day
International Congress
of Cultural Activists will
be held in May 2014 in
Kiev

PURPOSE
Defining the problems and priorities
for the dynamic changes and develop-
ment of cultural field in Ukraine and
also forming of environment for inter-
national multidisciplinary cultural activ-
ist’s collaboration
Also it is aimed to introduce to the
cultural activists some of remarkable,
successful both local and international
running projects in the field of culture,
sharing experience and the aspects
of their realization

THE
ADVANTAGE
Congress will allow activists from all over
Ukraine and colleagues from abroad to
meet future cooperation and exchange of
experience. Also part of participants from
abroad and from Ukraine will present rel-
evant and effective programs that are al-
ready working successfully
The format of Congress involves identify-
ing the most important and urgent issues
that arise during the practical implemen-
tation of the projects and their collective
decision. The interaction will occur in the
form of lectures, panel discussions, train-
ing sessions, workshops
8. to cooperating partners, sponsors,
activists and volunteers!
