Preliminary Work
❑ All Joint Numbering
 All weld joints are sequentially numbered with balloon(Shop Weld) or double diamond(Field Weld)
 All thread joints are sequentially numbered with balloon (prefix : SC-7)
 All bolt joints are sequentially numbered with balloon (prefix : BT-8)
 All support joints are sequentially numbered with balloon (prefix : part number-9)
❑ Marking of Field Welds
 Long pipes are split by field welds according to random length.
 All external weld joints connected to other pipelines are marked as Field Welds.
 Change welds on both ends of pipe running through platform
❑ Marking of Spool Numbers
 All piping spools are sequentially numbered with pointed double box.
❑ Coloring of WM Drawings
 Fabrication components(for Shop) are represented in Dark Green color.
 Erection components(for Field) are represented in Dark Magenta color.
 Fabrication welds(for Shop) are represented in Blue color.
 Erection welds(for Field) are represented in Dark Magenta color.
❑ Generation of Full WM Drawing List
 Connected Group Name / WM Drawing number(ERECTION) / Spool Count / WM Drawing
number(FABRICATION) are listed up.

Check Preliminary Deliverables by Client
❑ Check & Assign Field Weld by Construction SI
 For bulky Spools
- Assign New Field Weld and mark in the issued Weld List(Weld Type Modification)
4
Spool numbered as SP-001 is too bulky.
If shop weld numbered as 3 needs to be
marked as field weld, make a comment in the
Weld List like following.
Supply of Client Feed Back Data
❑ Weld Type Modification Report
 Assign New Field Welds for convenient construction & mark them in the issued Weld List.
- Change the Construction Category(FABRICATION  ERECTION).
- Change the color in Red. Utilize Weld number for weld identification.
❑ Material Modification Report
 Change the Construction Category of Piping Components(FABRICATION  ERECTION).
- Check the mistakenly assigned Construction Category & mark them in the issued Material List.
- Change the color in Red. Utilize Part Number data for material identification.
5
Final Work
❑ Modify the WM Drawing according to Client Feed Back & Re-generate Drawings/Reports.
 Change the Construction Category of Welds or Piping Components
6
Shop weld numbered as 3 is changed into field
weld and new spool number is created. Weld
List will be output as following.
