2. Total procurement volume
• The Swedish Transport Administration's total purchasing
volume in 2021 amounted to Euro 4,985 billion, an
increase of approximately 5 percent compared with
previous years.
• Investments and maintenance measures make up
approximately 94 percent of the total volume. Traffic type
rail accounts for the majority of the volume increase of
9.6 percent.
• Purchasing volumes follow the operating volume
development fairly well over the years and purchasing
volumes share of the total operating volume corresponds
to an average of 75 percent.

3. Type of contracts, total
69 procurements are still ongoing in year of publication 2021 and have not been completed yet. These are not included in the above presentation.
The procurement volume includes both investment and maintenance contracts.
