What is Gender Inequality?
 Gender inequality is the unequal treatment or
perceptions of individuals based on their gender. It
arises differences in socially constructed gender
roles.
 The difference in the status, power and prestige
women and men have in the groups and societies.
Gender Inequality can be known as sexism.
Sexism is the belief that psychological,
behavioural, or intellectual differences between
females and males and these differences make
one group superior that the other. (Monny,
Holmes, Knox And Schacht 2013)
