With the upcoming/pending changes to the ISO 9001:2015 standards, businesses are becoming increasingly aware of the need to identify and understand
the risks within their supply chain. While a business might not be working toward certification to the new standard, many companies use these standards
as benchmarks for “best practices” within their organization or industry. Managing Supply Chain Risk focuses on the development of a risk management
program to identify, manage and, ideally, mitigate unacceptable risks within the company’s value network. Several of the initial concepts and tools
adaptable by any organization to begin on the path of Managing Supply Chain Risk will be addressed during this event.
