2 Testing Measures
Smartphone has its independent operating system. At present, the mainstream operating
system platforms include Symbian, Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, Palm, embedded
Linux, and so on. Based on these operating systems, in order to ensure the accuracy of
Smartphones’ functions and the good experience. According to the previous project
experience, we need to conduct the following testing:
2.1 Basic Function Testing：
The basic function testing is to verify whether the basic functions of mobile phones come
true, for example, message, video call, video and audio play, E-mail and wireless internet
access, and to verity whether the installation of the third-party software fitting to the

2.2 UI, Visual Effect, Usability Testing：
It is to verify whether the interface and menus of mobile phones are consistent with
customers’ demand and design, whether mobile phones are convenient to use and
whether the operations are easy to use and bring good experience to users.
2.3 Limited Value Testing：
The limited value testing corresponds to boundary value analytical method of the
black-box test, the test cases designed by this method usually check the bug ability is the
strongest. The test cases based on the limit value is to instruct the test ,such as the
number of message input character, the number and capacity of documents storage, etc.
2.4 Conflict Testing：
It is mainly based on the conflict form, which lists the conflicts of incidents, and the test
cases of conflicts also be designed based on that, for example, receive calls, insert and
pluck the charger, USB wire when editing messages, playing games and browsing the
web.
2.5 Software Installation and Uninstallation Testing:
It is to check that whether the application software provided by the third party supported
by the operating system, and whether these software can be used normally. It also checks
the openness of the system platform.
2.6 Performance Testing:
The main items, for example, the long voice calls, the long video calls, long time games,
browsing and downloading the web long time, delivering large volumes of messages, on

WCDMA、CDMA2000, and to test the setting of network parameter and availability of

be achieved. The design of test cases must depend on the project design documents.

2.12 User Manual Testing:
Testing the content of the user manual is to ensure that the user manual corresponds with
