TripSpark Technologies Management Team:
On January 1, 2015, TripSpark Technologies and TransIT Services of Frederick County launched our new mobile
ticketing app, TransIT ezFare. I want to commend the team that assisted us in developing and deploying this
technology under extenuating circumstances.
After our primary contact had a health issue we feared the project might not be ready by our published deadline. A
team was assigned to take over the project: David Krueger, Systems Engineer, Mike Hunting, Systems Engineering
Manager, and David Rucker, Project Manager, Automated Fare Collection. On October 29, David Rucker reached
out and started the series of meetings and phone calls to get the ball rolling. Despite having to step in on short
notice and get quickly up to speed, they were positive and extremely helpful in working things out with our team.
We were in touch almost daily over the course of the next 2 months so they could determine our needs, discuss
testing and make certain the app would be the best it could be.
All of this took place over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, and despite that, I know they were working
nights, weekends and some holiday time to help us meet our deadline. In fact, David Krueger spent some vacation
time working and corresponding with me to work out an issue. Emails were answered regardless of whether it was
a weekend or otherwise after hours. This team could not have been more responsive.
After the successful launch on 1/1/15, we are seeing steady growth in the use of the app. The team continues to
assist us to add some additional features and have shared in our excitement.
People with a work ethic and attitude like this are what inspire trust and confidence in a product and company. I
hope you will take the time to recognize their dedication, expertise and excellent customer service.
