This document provides instructions for configuring the Girikon Smart SMS app, including setting up dashboards, SMS templates, phone numbers, SMS setup configurations, SMS workflow configurations, recharging SMS credits, and accessing app usage stats and support. Key steps include pasting the site URL during one-time setup, creating SMS templates with merge fields for different objects, adding phone numbers as from numbers, configuring apps for objects with number fields, creating SMS workflow configurations with from numbers, objects, number fields and templates, and recharging SMS credits by selecting a count and making a payment.
2. Dashboard Setting
● Type Site in the Quick Find search box and then click Site to go to that page and copy the site
URL.
● In One Time Setup area, paste the site URL into the Site URL field and then save it.
3. SMS Template
● From here, you can add new SMS Templates and use them for sending SMS.
● Enter Template Name, select Object, then select Field. After you select the field from the
picklist, then you will see the Merge Field.
● You can use that Merge Field and create a message in the Template Body and then save the
template.
● In View All Templates, you can see a list of SMS Templates created for different objects. You can
edit and delete them.
4. From Number
● From here, you can add phone number & country code and save it.
● This number will be used to send SMS to your recipients.
5. SMS Setup
● In SMS Setup, you can configure the app for various objects and then “Send SMS” button will get
created and available for all object-related page layouts.
● Enter Title, select Object, and based on the chosen object, select Number Field value and save it.
● In View All Configuration, you can see a list of configurations created before for various objects.
7. SMS Workflow Configuration
● To create SMS Workflow Configuration, enter Title, select From Number, Object, To Number Field,
Template.
● In the Workflow configuration List, you will see a list of SMS workflow configurations created for
different objects with edit and delete buttons.
● After creating the SMS Workflow configuration, search workflow rules in the quick search box and
click on it.
● Now click New Rule button to create a new rule. Select the object from the drop-down to which
the workflow rule will apply.
● Enter the rule name, description. In Evaluation Criteria section, select the option which suits your
requirement.
● In the Rule Criteria section, create the criteria and click on Save & Next button.
● In Immediate Workflow Actions section, add a new workflow action by selecting New Task from the
picklist.
● Choose user for Assigned To look-up field, enter Subject, Unique Name, and Due Date.
● In the Comments field, you have to paste the Unique Key of SMS Workflow Configuration of the
same object which you have created for sending SMS.
9. Recharge Now
● For adding balance, click on Recharge Now and it will redirect to a new page where you have to
select the SMS count and click the checkout button.
● Then it will redirect to the Stripe Payment page for making payment.
● After making the payment, you will be redirected back to a page where you will see ChargeId,
Recharge Status and button for making another recharge.
● In Recharge History, you can see recharge details (SMS count and name) in a listview done on the
app.
10. APP Usage Stats
● In the Dashboard section of SMS Admin, you can see the APP Usage Stat segment.
● You can view the SMS balance (total SMS count, used SMS count & remaining SMS count) in the
form of an intuitive pie chart.
