Multitasking
• Multitasking was a Must Ingredient while working at
Elemica. Last few years at Elemica, At any given time, I
was working on more than one roles, in parallel.
Handling Multiple Responsibilities was a part of my
everyday work life.
•
With Multitasking I learned couple of Very Important
Traits of Effective Professional Life - Time
Management, Prioritization, Having Flexibility to
keep Work-Life Balance and being able to Quickly
Switch focus between multiple ongoing activities - to
mention a few.
Quick Learner in
Fast-Paced Environment
• As demonstrated in my work experience, during my
tenure at Elemica, I assumed Multiple Totally
Different roles.
• With the fact that Every Role required a Different
Mindset and Skillset, every time I took a new role,
there had to be New Skills / Technologies to be
Learned in order to effectively play the new role. I
have seen myself learning new technologies and tools
very quickly on-the-fly.
Process Improvement
• Though, I never had a dedicated title, One of my major focuses at all
times while playing different roles was - Process Improvement.
• As my peers and managers called me - Process Guru, It was a Second
Nature for me to Continuously Look for Problems/Opportunities for
Improvement and Provide Suggestions and Recommendations as
appropriate. The focus always extended to think of and have ready - a
Safety Net, in order to Prevent Potential Problems.
• I always looked for Ways to Increase Efficiency everywhere possible and
share the same with team members to achieve overall efficiency across
team members and across solutions. Most of the times my role was
extended to Implement Improvements or as in some situations –
Coordinate to have improvements implemented with other resources,
including monitoring progress, scheduling changes, documenting and
training staff and during the whole process - Tracking and Reporting to
Higher Management)
Having Worked on Multiple Roles
• Having Opportunities/Challenges to work in Multiple Domains at
Elemica, I Gained Hands-on-knowledge working in Different
Roles/Levels of Organization.
• This unique experience enables me to Look at a Situation/Problem from
Multiple Different Angles.
E.g. - While working on a Technical Problem to come up with multiple
possible solutions, I can still focus on End-to-End Big picture from
Business Standpoint and choose the most Optimum Solution, Plan and
Strategize Changes/Migrations to pose Minimum Risk to Business
(based on my Change Management related experience) and at the same
time my experience as CRM helps me make Continuous Effective
Communication with major Stakeholders, including End Clients in order
to keep them updated and satisfied.
