Self Assessment
What has gone well - what can I celebrate?
The tenants group I have been working with have contacted me to say that work has
commenced on some health and safety issues. They have met with the Housing Association
for months to try to get this moving. Positive action happened and the work has
commenced they are so pleased!
What has been difficult - what concerns me?
One of my volunteers has dropped out and a big project has been cancelled as she has to
many personal issues to continue. Also a resident in the area changed their mind and
objected to the project going ahead.
How is my team developing?
Slowly but training is ongoing.
Tell a story
Have met a man recently whilst door knocking who has started to feed the homeless in the
area, he has a small team, they are working hard but struggling. They have no funding so
I'm working with them to help organise their project and make sure they know how and
where to get funding and develop their group into a formal organisation. Went out with
them last night, giving homeless people hot food and drink. This group are amazing.
