Properties and Use:
Blueberries are excellent for
keeping your stomach healthy, as
well as maintaining good eyesight.
DVG Recommendation:
Blueberries are often overlooked
but should really be part of our
daily diet. Use them with muesli,
yoghurt, smoothies and drinks.
Our favourite is to use blueberries
in wild berry mulled drinks, which
packs real health punch due to the
combination of berries and spices.
Properties and Use:
Because Chaga is such a powerful
antioxidant it is great for detoxing
or cleansing your body from
unwelcome toxins.
DVG Recommendation:
From Chaga powder it is easy to
create a variety of drinks that are
very easy to make. Our favourite is
Wild Berries and Chaga, a real
detox booster you can make at
home, all you need is Chaga and
Wild Berry powder which you boil
in water for 2-3 hours.

This project has truly helped us
spread both Scandinavian cultural
and product awareness over the
Christmas period. The reaction has
been great and we managed to
locate a lot of Finns in and around
Nottingham on the way.
Our aim was to act as an
inspiration for international and
UK people to realise that you can
really do anything in this world
even when the prospects seem a
bit bleak. All it requires is a solid
idea, hard work and persistence.
Food Quality:
The Finnish menu was generally a
hit with cinnamon buns and Glögi
being the front running products.
Home cooking was appreciated.

Location:
Whilst we were in a central
location in the food court, the
design of the market did not offer
us the best visibility.
Stall Design:
People loved the authentic and
home made feel of the stall, many
said it was refreshing to see
something totally different.
Service Level:
We were perceived as positive and
very approachable, which is what
we aim to achieve in everything
we do.
Safety and Hygiene:
Managed to run through the
whole event without any injuries
or major incidents. Our food
hygiene was high throughout and
no issues were reported by
customers.
Waste:
Our stocking was of very high
standard in regards of waste, we
only had 4/70 days where food
was left over, which we took to the
homeless shelter.
Visibility:
We wanted to help people find the
DVG brand, which we did to some
extent, Instagram being the most
active social media channel. We
should however have done a bit
more early on to engage people
into our concept.
A great project all in all which
helped us spread awareness of
both DVG and Finland. The
spreading of cultural awareness
was however not the only high
point, we have shown that high
standard cooking can have a place
on a large scale venue like the
Christmas Market, as well as help
people engage more in home
cooking which is extremely
important.
There is no doubt that this project
will help us evolve further and
inspire some new ventures across
2017.

Detox is a natural body cleansing
regime, which is simple enough to
achieve with the right types of
ingredients. Removing slag from
our body is really what detox is all
about, most commonly caused by
unhealthy eating and drinking
habits which cause both physical
and mental fatigue and expose us
to stress and various lifestyle
diseases.
Different detox regimes and
traditions can be found all across
the world, practiced since ancient
times. For instance Chinese culture
uses herbal teas and footbaths for
purifying the body, whilst Muslim
culture has the annual Ramadan
event to help cleanse the body.

We recommend detoxing twice
per year in spring and autumn by
consuming herbal tea, berry and
vegetable drinks that helps in
getting the ‘slag moving’ and
eventually clearing the body.
The best detox drinks are the
natural ones, which ensure the
body is able to make use of all the
nutrients. We do encourage
people to stay clear of the so
called ‘detox precision’ products
that promise a quick fix, whilst
these products may deliver what
they promise the side product is
that it damages or strains other
parts of the body as they tend to
be strong substances. So, do not
blindly trust advice from dietitians,
doctors, pharmacists and the likes
as they do regularly misinform
people in regards of this subject.
Our goal is to always know the
source and origin of our products,
as well as fully understand the
production method and growing
region to ensure the products
come from fertile and healthy
grounds with an abundance of
sunlight and energy.
One of the best detox drinks to
create at home this January and
February is one of Blueberry and
Chaga powder blended with wild
berry juice and water. This simple
extract needs to be boiled for as
little as 15-30 minutes which
ensures the ingredients fuse fully.
We feel it is important to help
people understand that detox is
not anything to be afraid of,
instead it can be something
natural and convenient and part of
a healthy life and diet.
Do however remember that eating
and drinking habits are the real
challenge, we must therefore aim
to understand more about the
ingredients we use, which in turn
allows for healthier decisions
regarding our diets, the only way
to keep our bodies healthy and
strong.
