My name is Nicole Stewart. As a former Vice Principal and Supervisor of a Career Center, I expect to
bring an understanding of all avenues of the world of education management, cultivated from more than a
decade in secondary education management and extensive work with community partners in and around
Columbus, Ohio and San Diego, California.
My most recent and relevant experience has been setting up the Human Resources framework and
serving as the main Project Manager for a company called uslucky.com. I maintain spreadsheets, make
cold calls and send warm emails to potential business partners and help establish a bottom line customer
base. I am comfortable using a script, or naturally speaking about a product or business proposal over the
phone. I am a highly effective communicator. Currently, I am convincing potential restaurants and resorts
to offer a 10% discount to all uslucky.com members when traveling from China to the U.S. In return, the
company writes comprehensive blogs, complete with pictures and info our partners send us, which drives
our over 100,000 members to those establishments. I also post job ads to LinkedIn and Upwork and have
recruited several quality employees to work for uslucky. I utilize Microsoft Office, Google Hangouts and
Google Docs to complete my work on a daily basis. I am a freelance employee and am diligent in my
tasks.
I have a variety of career experiences that highlight my determination and dedication to the field I have
been invested in for the past 16 years. I began working in the field of education as a high school Spanish
teacher in Columbus, Ohio. I am fluent in Spanish and taught for 6 years prior to becoming a vice
principal. Working as a vice principal, I was able to recruit, hire and train quality teachers from the
industry. My responsibilities included: creating job postings, posting jobs to job sites (LinkedIn, Indeed,
EdJoin), conducting follow-ups, interviews and all HR on-boarding activities. I am a published curriculum
writer for the Columbus City Schools Spanish 1, 2 and 3 curriculum guides. I created a New Teacher
Pipeline program where I paired brand new teachers with more experienced teachers who served as
mentors.
Self-management is the top requirement of an effective employee. I maintain my calendar in Microsoft
Exchange and believe in the power of daily check-lists using Trello. I am a planner and also maintain a
“hard-copy” calendar to leave no room for error. I am proficient in Microsoft Exchange, Gmail, Google
Docs, WordPress, Google Hangout, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram and
PowerSchool (district database). I run a mom fitness blog on Wordpress (ntstewart0713.wordpress.com)
and write articles on a weekly basis, so learning any new technology will not be an issue.
I sincerely look forward to speaking with you more about an opportunity with your company or business.
Thank you for your time,
Nicole M. Stewart
