Ţibăneşti, Ţibăneşti commune is situated
at the southern border of Iaşi County, 50 km
away from Iaşi Municipality and the cities of
Vaslui and Roman. What can you visit? "Petre
P. Carp" manor - dates back to the 14th
century. The "Mausoleum and the Park"
stretches over an area of 7.82 ha. In the
summer of 1905, Petre P. Carp's grandfather,
Ion Carp, rebuilt the manor, adding a floor
above the ground floor and the already
existing floor with a large terrace overlooking
the park and the plains. The mansion is
surrounded by the Dendrological Park Petre P.
Carp, founded in the 19th century, at the
initiative of Petre P. Carp, on the property of
his family. The vegetation consists of
indigenous and exotic trees with ornamental
and forest wood species. Concept in mixed-
straight and straight-lined style, paved basin,
basin with central water.
Nine objectives in the commune of Ţibăneşti are included in the list of historical
monuments in Iaşi County as monuments of local interest. Five of them are archaeological
sites: the site of "Suhatul Glodenilor" (1 km east of Glodenii Gândului village); The site of
"Seliştea" (300 m southeast of Vălenii village); The site at "Şanţuri" (the northwestern edge
of the village of Ţibăneşti); The "Hultan's Cuibul" (1.5 km north-north-west of the Jigoreni
General School); And the site of "Grindu-Piersicărie" (1 km north of the same school.) The
sites contain traces of settlements starting with the final Eneolithic and ending with the
medieval period.
