A highly enthusiastic and diligent individual with over 10 years experience in the Royal Engineers as a
Armoured Engineer. A productive team player who is able to work to deadlines and targets, is self
motivated, organised and able to multi task. A valuable team leader with excellent communication
skills, taught and assessed his peers on protective vehicles and life saving equipment for deployment
to Afghanistan. Technically minded, was constantly stretching my skills of mechanics to the limits

• Completed 8 months in Afghanistan as a driver and a panama operator, working closely with civilian
contractors to help improve the ROV and installed hardware/software upgrades and organise lessons
and training for operators.
• Main role was driving/maintaining the buffalo/panama ensuring both vehicles were fully fit for
operations.
• Other duties included controlling discipline amongst troops ensuring they had the correct Personnel
Protective equipment for operations including weapons and ammunition.

2. • Taught six four man teams how to drive, operate, maintain, and service the Buffalo and Panama,
with an external assessor doing practical and written tests.
• Planned three, three week courses designed to ensure the students had enough time to learn the
equipment and become confident in it.
