The 3rd annual Oswego Polar Plunge was held on March 28th, 2015 in Wrights Landing but had to be changed to an "Ultimate Polar Shower" due to thick ice on Lake Ontario. The author played a major role in planning, promoting, and developing the event with the local community and SUNY Oswego. Graphs and tables show donations increased from the previous year's plunge despite the change in venue.

Work Sample for Polar Plunges
1. The 3rd Annual Oswego Polar Plunge took place on March
28th, 2015 in Wrights Landing. This project was by far the
most time consuming. I played a major role in strategic
planning, promoting, and developing the event with the
community and the local college SUNY Oswego. This event
will always particularly stand out in my mind. We had
major event changes 3 days before the date of the plunge.
The ice on Lake Ontario was too thick to cut through.
Therefore I worked with Oswego City Officials, Assistant
Fire Chief, and local PD to re-arrange event site to create an
Ultimate Polar Shower. Graphs and pie charts on sheet
represent the relationships I developed for the plunge. The
two tables on the page show a comparison between last
years Oswego plunge to the March 28th plunge.

2. The 2rd Annual Ithaca Polar Plunge took place on March
21th, 2015 in Taughannock Falls State Park. This project was
by far the most enjoyable. I played a major role in
strategically planning, promoting, directing, but especially in
developing relationships with local colleges. I was able to find
responsible interns to synergize our promotional campaign
over Facebook on the campus near our event site. This
worked unbelievable well. Based on past polar plunges in the
central region this event had the largest single year increase
in participation and donation for my supervisor. Graphs and
pie charts on sheet represent the relationships I developed
for the plunge. The two tables on the page show a
comparison between last years Ithaca’s plunge to the March
21st plunge.
