A closer look at decoding the mythical being of "Giants' and the role they play in our lives.

1. GIANTS

The word "Giant" is defined in the modern-day dictionary as follows: "An imaginary or mythical
being of human form but superhuman size." When reading this I can't help but notice the
adjectives imaginary and mythical being used to described the above-stated noun of which we
as humans have come to be familiar with even at the youngest of ages. I would be remiss in not
pointing out that this "Giant" begins t grow tentacles and procreate much like how a human
typically does. See the parallel? (Wink).
We've all at least heard or are familiar with the story of David vs Goliath. I'm not going to go into
detail nor give the cliche' story that everyone one knows the ending to. No, I would much rather
break things down into intricate pieces, then choose which one fits to give the most euphoric
and clear connection between myself and you the individual who for whatever reason decided to
take time out of your day and read this. That reference was only to give you an idea of what
direction I was heading with this. “Whew”(Long but much needed preface). The object of my
reference to David and Goliath was to strip the story of its monotony and refurbish, refocus, and
refresh the idea of what a "GIANT" really means to you and me in the present day. First off, I am
a huge proponent in decreasing or eliminating false or negative energy from any state of mind
or act. That also falls in line with me most recently adopting the thought of pure intuition and not
only “listening to what is being said” but also “saying what isn’t being said.” This is something
that is a bit of a personal challenge to do but even being conscious of it helps you tremendously
in any aspect of life. Since the word "Giant" seems to be used in the context of describing how
big, large or mystic something is, let's take the time to think about the secret or public, external
or external "Giant" or "Giants" you and I are facing that leave us feeling defeated, depleted,

2. exposed and vulnerable to an illness untreated . Since I love acronyms, let's start by eliminating
the word "Giant" and replacing it with the acronym "G.I.A.N.T." ( GLORY, IN, ACQUIRING, NEW,
TESTIMONIES) whether these come from your personal story or another individuals story. With
each challenge we have either been through or are currently going through has allowed us to
create dialogue from it. Whether it be self-help books, Bible's, Study/Focus Groups or
Community Engagement activities. The one constant is always dialogue which in turn open up
the opportunity for testimonials. Those same testimonials allow us to either believe or not to
believe in something whether we have all of the details or proper information. Why? Because of
our human instinct to show love, gratitude, empathy and sympathy. So when a person stands up
in church or at a community event and shows the greatest vulnerability in being judged we have
the choice to show the above described which will invite a favorable and open-minded approach
or choose the latter. This notion allows us to understand that the "Giant" or "Giants" we face are
purposeful not only in our lives but in others as well. Pure isolation will not help you defeat the
mythical creature in your head that you've given way to with self-defeating thoughts, limiting
beliefs and assumptions. So as much as people may need you, these same people are the
people you need. Just how you created the mythical "Giant" is just how you will be able to
deconstruct it. You've been doing it your entire life. Those "Giants" may have been even smaller,
equally as big or even bigger given the time of which you encountered them. Maybe they show
up here and there like a toothache, sinus headache or body ache. You're familiar with the
remedy and how to defeat it as long as you possess the proper medicine for your troubles. The
only difference is you are the official prescriber and developer of those strategies to move the
need in a forward motion. Yes you have every answer for a question, and every win for a loss.
Having glory by inviting new forward-thinking strategies by way of testimonials will not only allow
you to be consciously aware but aware of consciousness through mindfulness by way of the
G.I.A.N.T. opportunities in your wonderful life! I challenge you to seek the glory in struggle and

3. the challenge of your “Giant” or “Giants” and replace them with the 5-letter acronym so that you
are able to revisit, receive and share your testimonies with others in time of need. GIANTS do
DIE! Choose what belief serves you!
