running. Enter ICEP’s very own virtual event platform - a cross-platform virtual
conference and exhibition solution for all your expo needs.
The platform aims to support up to thousands of concurrent users running on PC,
mobile, web, and VR platforms from anytime, anywhere. It offers a wide-variety of
tools and services to facilitate networking and exposition, and even gamifies
participation to encourage user activity.

5. Virtual Work Training Ground VR Simulation

Traditional training methods have not been as efficient at training staff on the
purpose and importance of upholding Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
in an industrial worksite. There have not been enough cost-effective training
programs that address this problem.
SDP aims to utilize virtual reality (VR) technology to bridge this gap, placing
trainees in a virtual environment and allowing them to navigate and interact
with it intuitively. Due to the software nature of VR simulators, the product
offers many benefits – infinitely repeatable training sessions at virtually zero
cost, convenience and ease-of-access, and cost efficiency.

6. Hazard Hunt

Due to the risks involved in the oil & gas industry, Petronas employees are
expected to remain vigilant for work hazards and risks. Hazard Hunt aims to
train users to recognise such situations and educates them on the
consequences of carelessness on the rig.
With Leaderboards, Hazard Hunt pushes users to compete with each other in
precision and speed. We recreated an actual model of a Petronas platform in
full 3D, optimised for virtual reality. Experience what it’s like being on an oil rig,
and explore at your will, complete with positional tracking and teleportation
locomotion for an immersive and comfortable experience.

7. Fiber Optic Splicing

Fiber optic splicing is a VR demonstration that allow the user to practice their
knowledge of the splicing process by selecting the correct tools in the right
order to complete the job. The demo places users in a first-person perspective
of a technician performing the splicing process in a lab, featuring highly
detailed 3D models of the splicing equipment that are accurate to their
real-world counterparts.

TinyVR aims to make it easier for learners to grasp the basic concepts of
nanotechnology. This mobile VR experience explains the concept of the
nanoscale through visual scale comparisons, and talks about the different
types of nanomaterials that exist, and what their unique properties are.
It also includes a built-in quiz to gauge learners’ understanding.

Edubite is a gamified learning platform developed for Telekom Malaysia that
places importance in learning through positive reinforcement and rewarding
excellence. By watching informative content and completing quizzes, learners
are rewarded in coins that they can spend on fun rewards such as avatar
customization, minigames, and tangible rewards.
Leaderboards and built-in community discussion threads allow users to learn
together by sharing helpful tips and advice, and engage in healthy competition
for a better learning experience.

10. EzySunnah

Augmented Reality 10
Ezy Sunnah is a multiplayer board game that focuses on learning Islam, primarily
the recitation of Du’a for specific situations. In this project, the board game genre
will be integrated with Augmented Reality (AR) technology which enhances the
users’ experience by combining some of the physical element of the game in real
life alongside with virtual elements, through mobile phone. The players will be able
to interact with the virtual elements of the board game such as the character, and
cards through their mobile phone, which will be superimposed onto real life image
which is captured by the phone’s camera. The target demographics for this game
are children between 7 to 12 years old. It is developed using Unity engine.
The main goal of this game to provide entertainment and better learning experience
to the players. Each section of the board with a set difficulty comprises of a set of
Du’a that can be easy, or challenging to provide better immersion into the game.
Depending on the capability of the players to remember each Du’a, the replayability
of the game can be varied.

11. Extravaganza Royale

can spend with their credit card to earn lives that they can use to play a
projectile minigame to collect coins and other rewards. Through the
web portal, they can also try their luck in a Spin & Win, to earn prize
entries and a chance to win prizes and vouchers.
