1. Do you agree to K to 12 English Curriculum’s perception of an effective
language curriculum? Why or why not?
Yes, I fully agree with the K–12 English curriculum's perception regarding how the
world is transforming and how advancement is needed to foster worldwide
competencies in our nation. Furthermore, the current English curriculum allows
students to expand their speech language, intellectual terminology, rational reasoning,
and numerous other skills. Given that we have no control over something like this, we
may take advantage of the reality that today's young people are more accustomed to
technology and employ it as a medium of instruction to captivate their interest.
Moreover, technology facilitates global interaction. They can still use technology to
participate and be creative while also striving to improve their linguistic competence to
comprehend multiple different contexts.
2. With understanding of the learners, how could you incorporate
technology in the teaching of the different macro skills?

Listening I'll need to use technology in innovative ways as a future elementary
school teacher to encourage my students to listen effectively. Using a
song or a voice recorder, I integrated it. I will play a song and instruct
the students to listen closely and determine the feelings and
emotions it generates. Does it sound sad, joyful, or mad? Identifying
the voice's intonation as it is played on the recorder is another
activity. The learners will judge if the intonation sounds rising or
falling. It will enhance kids' language and listening skills through this
easy activity. This activity encourages technological usage and offers
my children a fun experience.
Reading Since reading proficiency in our nation is low, as a teacher in the
future, I'll do my best to teach my learners how to read. In fact, I can
use technology to raise my students' reading proficiency. For
example in the case, to grab their interest, I will download illustrated
narratives as video materials from the internet. After that, I'll
narrate the animated stories first, while playing through a projector
or a TV screen. I will let the children read in groups or rows
afterwards. I'll call out individual names one at a time to assess
whether they're actually learning, and if they are, I'll evaluate

divide them into groups, and each group would select their favorite
scenario from the movie and role-play it in front of the class.
Learners will sharpen their interpersonal and linguistic capabilities
during this group exercise. It will additionally assist in stimulating
students to practice speaking in front of the group.
3. In what ways could be multiliteracies approach help teachers instill
communicative competence to learners in the early grades?
As previously stated, today's children are much more knowledgeable of
advanced technologies since they find them entertaining. Therefore, as an
educator using a multiliteracies method in the classroom, it has the potential to
interact with the students in the early grades, including the teacher can empower
a visual literacy like flashing images or cards on the television screen to grasp
their focus and engage the teachable moment flawlessly. Furthermore, I will
divide them into groups, and each group will be given a piece of music to listen to
and interpret. I'll assign them the task of doing an interpretive dance. The
students will be able to communicate with one another as a result of this. I can
instill communicative competence in students by encouraging them to interact
with each other. And by that, my students can do good work by having teamwork.
Kids are inspired to learn when the teacher provides innovative activities that
employ the multiliteracies. As an outcome, throughout engaging and enjoyable
exercises, individuals may easily connect with both the teacher and the students.
