transitioning from their country to living and
adapting in Southern California area.
7. There will be 2 service packages offered:
Basic Package
Deluxe Package
8. Airport pick up (upon arrival)
Assist with opening bank accounts
Assist with setting up a phone/mobile and
communication services
Assist with setting up internet service
Assist with setting up television/cable service
Assist with familiarizing with the transportation
services
Orientation with grocery shopping
9. Basic Package plus:
Housing (outside of the University housing)
Assist in locating appropriate housing accommodation
Assist with contract signing
Shopping
Initial assistance with living amenities such as furniture, supplies,
basic household goods, etc…
Orientation with personal shopping (where the malls and local
stores)
Emergency assistance
Provide assistance with Medical/Dental emergencies
Assistance with domestic and international travel arrangements
(airline tickets, shuttle arrangements to and from airport, etc…)
Assistance with purchasing a transportation vehicle (bike, car,
scooter, etc…)
Assist in obtaining legal documents (driver’s license and social
security number)
Ongoing general advising and follow up
