Alister
Wonderland
• He is part of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice
Found There as the next Alice, and he is currently a student at Ever After High. He was stuck in
Wonderland before traveling with Bunny to Ever After, where they are currently staying with the
rest of the Wonderlandians. In the destiny conflict, he is on the Royal side for the sake of his future
adventures and riddles as the next Alice. Already disappointed by Wonderland's closure, Alistair is
determined to ensure that his pursuit of his destiny is safe at Ever After High, where he can learn
and take in more experiences of the curious world around him.
• Personality
• Alistair loves a good riddle and is very witty. Sometimes he can get a bit overconfident with himself,
calling himself a 'riddle master', but is selfless, brave and well-rounded in character either way. Like
all of the other Wonderlandians, Alistair shows that he misses Wonderland a great amount. As
such, he has a tendency to get haunting flashbacks about when he faced the Evil Queen and stayed
back with Bunny Blanc.[1] His birthday is revealed on Facebook to be May 12th.[2] He is very kind
to Ever Afterlings.
• Family
• His mother is the titular Alice from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-
Glass, and What Alice Found There. Like his mother, he wants to explore Wonderland and, solve
riddles. Despite Alice's background herself as his mother, Alistair is biologically related to
Wonderland; because of the fairytales going one after another in destiny, especially in Ever After. In
Wonderland, or Wonderland, people are all mad and Alistair embraces that. Alistair's mother was
brought up in Lizzie Hearts's diary (Lizzie Hearts's 'Signature - Royals' diary), where Lizzie herself
said about Ever Afterlings "what a bunch of Alices".
Apple white
• She is part of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as the next Snow White, and she is a student at Ever After
High. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Royal side and is the leader of them because she believes strongly in
destiny and has worked hard to follow tradition.
• Personality
• As the next Snow White, Apple takes every bit of her future role to heart. Fulfilling the role of the generous,
kind, and good-natured queen to perfection, she is no doubt the best suited to her destiny. However, despite
her celebrity status among the other students, Apple is just as much human as the rest of them. When
everything Apple has ever known is threatened with falling apart, she takes it upon herself to lead the Royals,
and become an inspiration to all to preserve destiny in the Fairy Tale world, for better or for worse. Although
appearing self-centered and apathetic towards those with less prestigious destinies than herself, Apple's
crusade comes from a place of genuine concern and benevolence for her friends, not wishing to see them "go
poof" or be subject to the chaos that could happen if no one followed their destinies as they should.
• Despite the divide in the school, however, Apple still considers Raven Queen one of her best and most
treasured friends. Although she wanted Raven to follow her destiny, and her attempts to convince her to could
be badgering and vexatious, she wants her to do so from a place of genuine commitment, and refused to
resort to deception or unsavory tactics. In the midst of it all though, Apple's love for Raven, and her other
friends, prevailed over her childhood fear of an unpredictable future. Though she still wants her own happily
ever after, she now considers her friends' happiness and futures as individuals more important than the
controlled world she grew up in.
• At her core, Apple is hard-working and and dedicated to her future. She's intelligent, believing in rational
thought and logic to contrast and compliment with Raven's abstract creativity, and an effective leader. Albeit a
bit vain, she has a big heart and is loved by all for good reason. Her gracious and kind-hearted nature has
secured her spot as the fairest one of all, and she upholds that title with the grace and dignity fit for a future
queen.
• Family
• She is the daughter of Snow White and her king.
Aquilona
• Aquilona is the daughter of Boreas, the North Wind, and the current North Wind.
Princess Aquilona was destined to take on her father's responsibilities, but she
refused. And so, Aquilona ran away to be selfish, ignoring her great destiny.
Meanwhile, Boreas got old, and died. Without a shepherd, the winds tore up
trees and hasseled hills. Wanting a shepherd, the winds, blew all the way to
Aquilona, but she was too selfish to claim her destiny. In her struggle against the
wind, Aquilona was stripped of her bod, becoming Wind herself and because of
this she can't talk to students when they visits her.
• Personality
• Aquilona is a very selfish princess, who doesn't care about her destiny.
Ashlynn
ella
• She is part of Cinderella as the next Cinderella, and she is a student at Ever After High. In the
destiny conflict, she is on the Royal side, but a self-proclaimed Rebel as seen in True Hearts
Day, out of a general belief that destiny is the way to go, even though she loves Hunter
Huntsman, who is a rebel and from a different fairytale. But she switched to the rebel side,
because she fell in love with Hunter who is currently a rebel. Its still injectable choices, or
not confirmed if she is really a rebel. Though, technically she is still labeled as a Royal in
Kitty's Curious Tale.
• Personality
• Ashlynn's interests are divided over three topics: shoes, nature, and Hunter Huntsman. She
holds a job at The Glass Slipper both to indulge her obsession and to enforce the humble,
hard-working attitude her mother instilled in her. Ashlynn enjoys long strolls in the
Enchanted Forest and getting her hands dirty with earth and plant material, even if it is not
befitting one of royal heritage. She has a unique ability to communicate with animals, who
help her out sometimes. She shares this interest with Hunter, whom she dates despite not
being allowed to, to the mixed feelings of the other students. Ashlynn is shy and soft spoken
but has a big heart and is always ready to help. A huge fan of nature, and animals, she loves
to speak to the squirrels and bunnies but also takes time to stop and smell the roses.
Ashlynn also likes to be punctual, since if she arrives late her dress transforms into rags.
Though she will go from rags to riches like her mother Cinderella, Ashlynn is by no means
superficial instead she is humble and down to earth and does not wish to follow her destiny
simply because of a pretty ball gown, but instead because she believes it's the right thing.
She is very friendly, especially with animals.
Baba yaga
• She is a faculty advisor at Ever After High and sometimes teaches
General Villainy along with Mr. Badwolf. She is also the department
head for Spells, Hexes, and General Witchery classes. Though she
tends to go along with Headmaster Grimm's views on destiny, she
has sympathy for the Rebels and helps them in small ways,
particularly Poppy, who expresses interests in both sides, although
Raven is sometimes pushed to be wicked. She is very wise and uses
her magic to help resolve conflicts.
• Personality
• The advisor to dark magicians, Baba Yaga has a withering stare and
frightening cackle. She is a powerful sorceress in her own right, yet
she corrects behavior with a squirt from a spray bottle (especially to
Raven Queen when she refuses to be evil), as shown in the novel
"The Storybook Of Legends". She agrees with Milton Grimm's views
on destiny, though is more patient and less rigorous about it than he
is.
Blondie lockes
• She is the daughter of Goldilocks from The Story of the Three Bears (also known as The Three Little Bears)
with her destiny being the next Goldilocks and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, she is
on the Royal side, because she wants to fit in with the royal crowd and keep their respect. In general, this
seems to work. Most Royals treat her as one of their own, even if they are annoyed by her insistent push into
their group. Blondie is oblivious to this and continues to think she has to prove herself to her friends. One of
the ways she makes herself a big persona at Ever After High is her MirrorCast news show, which even the
teachers watch.
• Personality
• Blondie is the archetypal high school socialite - she's charming, she's congenial, and she has high standards.
But there's just one problem; Blondie lacks the prestige of royalty and thus feels all the more excluded from
what she considers a clique of princesses. Wanting nothing more than to feel like a member of the big leagues,
Blondie tends to exaggerate (read: lie) about her fairy tale heritage, at one point insisting that she was a
princess herself. Despite the fact that these mostly fall on deaf ears[1], Blondie nonetheless remains a pretty
well-known student at Ever After High. She runs a school vlog called Just Right from her MirrorPad, where she
becomes a primary source for news, exploits, and gossip. She also has a dear love for nature she gets this from
her mother who was always exploring in the forests.
• Blondie is also known for her tendency to nitpick and criticize seemingly insignificant details, due to her
wanting everything to be "just right" - her personal lingo for "perfection". Everything from the foods she eats
to the mirrors she uses has to meet every ridiculous standard, which can change just as easily as her mood. In
addition, Blondie also has become infamous for her lack of regard for other people's items or space, to the
point of stealing stuff from her friends and completely disregarding their privacy, something done easily
thanks to her ability to unlock any locked door. She isn't malicious, however, and just has a genuine lack of
knowledge of her friends' boundaries and social cues.
Briar beauty
• She is part of the Sleeping Beauty story as the next Sleeping Beauty and she is a student at Ever After High. In the
destiny conflict she was on the Royal side however; after she had difficulty and hard time accepting her inevitable
sleeping curse as her destiny. She now sides with the Rebel side as she dropped The Storybook of Legends in the Well
of Wonder in Thronecoming and to fix her destiny.
• Personality
• Briar is a kind and loving girl, and a hyperactive girl who loves adventure, despite the fact that she can fall asleep
everywhere and anywhere at any given time, which is strongly due to a curse that her mother Sleeping Beauty had,
which Briar inherited genetically.[1] Briar is kind, sensitive about her destiny, and a loving friend. She is fierce and
loyal, and also is best friends with Apple White and Blondie Lockes, according to her website profile and the doll
profile on the back of the doll box, although her roommate Ashlynn Ella is a close friend of hers.
• She is friends with Raven Queen and Madeline Hatter,[2] and also Cupid and Cedar Wood, according to the
Thronecoming TV special. Briar is scared for her "destiny" and claims she is not just a party girl, in her words: "Is that
how you see me!? Just, a party girl?!" and then explains how she doesn't want to lose her friends. She most likely will
lose her friends if she sleeps for a hundred years because, in a hundred years, her friends will all be long dead. She is
sensitive, generous, and friendly. Briar loves adventures and journeys but wants to have her life without sleeping for
a hundred years. She can be sad when the fact that if she signs the Storybook of Legends, she'll sleep for one
hundred years is brought up, but in "Way Too Wonderland", this is solved when Raven signs and turns evil, but Apple
brings her back, saving her, and Raven uses her newfound powers to put the pages of the book inside everyone and
they don't need to sign the storybook to decide what they want, that they can be Royal or Rebel without signing the
book. Briar is grateful to Raven for this and wants to live every day of her life awake. She is generally a good person
with a good heart and loves Blondie's MirrorCast show. She enjoys gossip and fashion. In "Thronecoming",[3] she
threw the Storybook of Legends down the well so she wouldn't have to sleep for a hundred years.[3] Briar, as not
wanting to fall asleep for a hundred years, generally feared the Storybook of Legends. She doesn't have to worry
about the book anymore, though.
• Her "Magic Touch" is having super hearing (she can hear things from miles away) however this only happens when
she is asleep.
Bunny blanc
• She is part of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland as the next White
Rabbit, and she is currently a student at Ever After High. She was stuck
in Wonderland[1] before her subsequent trip to Ever After, where she is
currently staying with Alistair and the rest of the Wonderlandians. In
the destiny conflict, she is on the Royal side because of her general
belief in following her path in life. She takes great delight in starting the
entire Wonderland tale by taking after her father.
• Personality
• Bunny is shy, however she's also quite intelligent. She is often nervous
when it comes to solving problems, so she's dependent on her friends
for that. Bunny's rather mature, patient and unassertive towards others
and is frequently on-time wherever she goes, regardless if she's lost her
way. Because of that, she's described to be never stressed and quite
cool-headed.[2] However, unlike all of the White Rabbits before her,
she somehow manages to be on time wherever she has to go,
whenever. Bunny herself believes this is just sheer luck occurring on
countless occasions, considering that her luck also brought her to Ever
After.
c.a. cupid
• She is not a part of a fairytale like most of her fellow students at Ever After High,
but is part of Ancient Greek mythology as the next Cupid. In the destiny conflict,
she is on the Rebel side because she considers destiny to get in the way of the
flow of love and people follow their true hearts, being who they want to be.
Though she is terrible at archery, she is pretty good at giving love advice and thus
hosts a MirrorCast advice show called Love Advice to help others find love. She
was imported from the Monster High franchise, therefore having transferred from
its titular school to this franchise's titular school.
• Personality
• Cupid is kind and helpful in matters of love. While she's very much career-driven,
she can be distracted from her work when she is near her crush. However as she's
aware that she's a student with a unique destiny, she's still searching for her family
heritage.[1] Cupid is loyal to her job as an advice show presenter and as a friend.
When it comes to matters of love, Cupid swallows her pride and puts her friends'
needs before her own. She is revealed to be allergic to pollen to the extent that
she needs an inhaler in the webisode Heart Struck. She also is actually a
Sagittarius, not an Aquarius, as her birthday is November 24th, not February 14th.
Just like Dexter Charming, her official name in the books (Suzanne Selfors books,
because she is not revealed as "C.A." in the Shannon Hale books), and doll box
name as well as doll logs/doll diaries; is her nickname, rather than her full name.
Cedar wood
• She is part of The Adventures of Pinocchio as the next Pinocchio, and is a
student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Rebel side
out of a general belief that people should be free to choose, though she
herself is eager to follow in her father's footsteps and become a regular girl.
• Personality
• A true friend to a rebel named Raven Queen, through and through, Cedar's
inability to lie and consequential, but unintentional, blunt speech patterns
has earned her no enemies thanks to her big heart and gentle nature. She's
a quirky, talkative girl with a true talent for expressing herself. Her high
emotional drive makes her easily excitable, however, and a small worry can
easily work her into a frenzy.
• As the next Pinocchio, one might expect Cedar to be an experienced liar, but
the opposite is true. At a young age, her father had a Truth spell cast on her,
which prevents her not only from lying but also makes her prone to share
truths without actual provocation. The spell won't wear off until her
incarnation of the story commences.
Cerise Hood
• She is part of Little Red Riding Hood as the next Red Riding Hood, and she is a student at Ever After
High. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Rebel side as she has no choice. Everyone knows that
Cerise is the daughter of Little Red, but very few know she is also the daughter of the Big bad Wolf.
She is a person who by the rules of destiny should not have been born. Destiny punished her with
half-wolf ears which she has to cover at all times. She seeks to change that for both her own sake
and her parents'. Of course, she can not let anyone know until the world is no longer hostile
towards her existence. This frustrates Cerise greatly on a daily basis, as does the fact she is forced
to wear her hood constantly to conceal her half-wolf ears. If she shows them awful things could
happen.
• Personality
• Cerise seems to be on good terms with most of the students, but she is nonetheless a reserved
individual who is more than meets the eye. Granted that she is not exactly a loud individual, her
inhuman athleticism surprises most. Being part wolf, Cerise is an excellent athlete, if not the best at
Ever After High. She's prone to wolf-like tendencies and outbreaks, which is a huge inconvenience
as she's trying to hide her heritage. Nevertheless, she loves her parents equally as she was ecstatic
when they had a picnic together and regularly carries around a locket of their family photo. She is
cautious about her secret and makes sure she keeps her wolf heritage out of public knowledge.
• Though Cerise acts somewhat standoffish to the people who want to know more about her, she is
incredibly protective of her friends and respects them for their secrets, and is definitely not the
type to betray anyone for something of her own benefit. She is a bit mysterious. She goes under the
name "Cerise Hood" with the family name "Hood" from her mother to protect the fact that she is
also Badwolf's daughter, and to hide it as a secret.
Chase redford/red knight
• Chase Redford is the person in the armor of the Red Knight
and the adopted son of the Red Queen from Through the
Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There. He serves as the
Wonderland High attendance officer.
• Personality
• Chase has a loyal and devoted personality; he is also quite
friendly with everyone he meets. Though, Chase is a dutiful
and dedicated stickler to the rules and the training he's been
given as a knight, even if he seems to disapprove of it.
Cheshire cat
• The Cheshire Cat is the current performer of the Cheshire Cat role
from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland as well as Kitty's mother.
She lives under Wonderland inside the Well of Wonder.
• Personality
• The Cheshire Cat is neither malevolent or benevolent, she simply
enjoys chaos and a good prank. However, she has a hard time
recognizing when a joke has gone too far, and so she often
participates in villainous acts. But as she's also the mother of the
Cheshire Cat-in-training, she has high standards of mischief and
often expects more from her daughter, who looks up to her. At
the same time, she's quite considerate towards Kitty and will at
least have an ear open to Kitty's opinions on things. She has an
interest of liking the letter 'Y' since she helped the Pied Piper
name his daughter Melody and she likes names that has a 'Y' on it
Courtly jester
• She is the daughter of the Joker Card and is closely affiliated with Wonderland
High, the main high school in Wonderland, as the student body president, which
by Wonderland rules, also makes her said school’s vice principal and principal.
She was held in Wonderland Prison, doing her time to make up for the chaos
that she’s evoked upon Wonderland.[1] Later, she was released and sent to Ever
After High as a student with a legitimate destiny. In the destiny conflict, she is on
the Rebel side because she wants to be a queen. In fact, she is enrolled in
Princessology because of this.
• Courtly is the type to have an aggressive and assertive, power-hungry exterior
and an insecure interior, often referring to herself as “lowly Courtly Jester”. Her
Joker heritage also makes her mischievous and a liar. She has no trouble twisting
others’ words. In “Way Too Wonderland”, she is the head of a conspiracy against
the Queen of Hearts, planning to overthrow her. As principal and vice-principal
of Wonderland High and chief of prosecution at the school court, she has huge
power over a significant part of Wonderland, as even the royal herald goes by
her rules.
• However, a lot has changed since then. In her time at Wonderland Prison,
Courtly claims to have rewritten her ways and promises to be good and make
more friends.
Crystal winter
• She is the daughter of the Snow King and Queen and they live in an ice castle on top of
the clouds. She is a student at Ever After High, and in the destiny conflict, she is on the
Royal side for wanting to rule the Snow Kingdom someday.
• Personality
• Crystal is a fun loving, happy and gentle girl who isn't afraid to take the lead and act
when needed. She is kind, loving, tender, and usually happy. She has what appears to be
a streak of optimism, as she did not give up in "Epic Winter" when trying to defeat
Jackie Frost and Northwind. Crystal is also brave, generous, and generally a very good
person.
• She does not give up in the face of adversity, a nod to Frankie Stein's optimism in
Monster High, to which the latter franchise is a series all about facing fears, having
confidence, optimism and not giving up in the face of adversity, which is to what Ever
After High (a spin-off franchise), to which she, Crystal herself, shows most of all out of
all the Ever After High characters. Crystal is nice, warmhearted, and ongoing. She is
headstrong and believes anything can be possible as long as you don't give up.
• Crystal is very warm at heart, and has a lot of kindness within her.
Daring charmng
• Despite a life of being groomed for a destiny as the Prince Charming from Snow White and
the Seven Dwarfs, he is eventually revealed to be the future Beast of Beauty and the
Beast. He is a student at Ever After High. Daring is the older brother of Dexter Charming,
another Royal, and Darling Charming, a Rebel.
• Personality
• For the most part, Daring is his father's son - he is, obviously, quite charming and
handsome. He is also quite egotistical and conceited and very infatuated with his
appearance, as he is often seen with a mirror or flashing his smile to girls. It is apparent
that Daring's sanity, confidence, and happiness all revolve around him seeing himself in
the mirror. He does have some sense of duty though. He is often seen escorting his
(previous) future queen Apple White and he is well-practiced in gallantry. Daring also
takes extra precaution when his teeth get whitened by covering his mouth to not risk
blinding passing students.
• Aside from his confident airs, Daring has shown to be a sensitive guy at times, prone to
emotional outbursts in times of great stress. His profile information says that he's easily
upset, though seeing something beautiful can calm him down (such as his own reflection).
He cares greatly for his friends and family, especially his younger siblings who he tries to
look out for (though not always in the best way). Nonetheless, he is not afraid to admit to
his mistakes and apologize to others.
Darling charming
• In the destiny conflict, she is on the Rebel side because she wants to go on adventures
instead of being rescued. She is part of a fairytale yet to be solidified, but is strongly
hinted to be Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with her part being that of the one
that kisses the bewitched princess awake. She is a student at Ever After High. She is
part of a long line of Charmings, and is the twin sister of Dexter Charming, as well as
younger sister to Daring Charming.
• Personality
• Darling is rather coy, acting shy, overly sweet and obedient, truly charming, true to
her family name. Behaving like she is expected to, acting like a damsel in distress, to
keep her family satisfied. Darling also has a love of reading and learning the
unknown⎯quite mysterious herself, she has been called a bookworm by her brothers
and is a good researcher.
• However, when she drops her facade, Darling has an incredible sense of whit,
adventure and action - she would much rather live the life of a daring hero than as a
dainty princess. She hides herself in a suit of armor[1] so that what is highly expected
of her won't tarnish.[2] However despite her reputation, Darling is far from a damsel-
in-distress. Deep down, Darling has an unwavering will and won't be afraid to step in a
situation and offer her help. Darling also has a "Special Touch," that when she tosses
her hair, the time will slow down.
Dexter charming
• He is part of a fairytale yet to be revealed, since many stories are in
need of a Prince Charming and he is a student at Ever After High. In the
destiny conflict, he is on the Royal side because of family loyalty and
expectations. Dexter is the younger brother of Daring Charming,
another Royal, and older twin brother of his sister Darling Charming, a
Rebel.
• Personality
• Dexter is shy and tentative. He is friendly, but unlike his brother, he is
not very suave or charismatic. This becomes even more pronounced
when he talks to Raven Queen, whom he has a crush on, one on one.
At times, he has a tendency to compare himself with his older brother,
Daring. Ironically, Dexter is jealous of his brother's ability to impress any
girl, unaware that he himself possesses an enchanted gaze that makes
girls swoon. The effect is broken when his gaze is not immediate, like
when he wears his glasses. Just like C.A. Cupid, his trademark Mattel
name is also not his full name or real name.
Duchess swan
• She is part of Swan Lake as the next Swan Queen, and she is a student at Ever After High. In the
destiny conflict, she is on the Royal side, even though she does not like her destiny. Because there is
no Happily Ever After in her destiny, Duchess is a bitter person who'll go to great lengths to punish
people who do have a Happily Ever After and don't commit themselves to it. She also occasionally
tries to forcefully switch her destiny with another princess's, but so far she has not succeeded in
changing her fate.
• Personality
• Duchess considers herself an opportunist, though she, like Briar, is a Royal with doubts. Her story
has a tragic ending, which makes her bitter and envious of those with happy endings. Though any
princess can become the target of her frustration, Apple White is whom she regards as her main
opponent. Apple has the best Happily Ever After. Duchess wants to have her Happily Ever After with
Daring Charming whom Duchess has a big crush on. She also looks down on Raven Queen, who is
perhaps the only princess with a fate as bad as hers, and she is furious about Ashlynn Ella getting
the best of both worlds. However in secret, it is mentioned by Brooke Page that Duchess secretly
admires Raven and, Apple and tries to find the best in both their personalities.[1]
• She is vindictive, and spiteful about her ending, and willing to risk any chance at companionship
with her fellow students to get a better one. She appears to think that if she is able to get one of
them to give up or lose their Happily Ever After, she can take the ending for herself.
• Her "Magic Touch", is that she can dance on water.
Fairy queen
• The Fairy Queen is the ruler of all fairies in Ever After and
the mysterious organizer of the Blue Moon Forest Fest. As
the queen of the fairies, she may hold higher authority and
possess greater power than the Dark Fairy. She has no
known fairytale. She teaches Advanced Elfonomics and
Good Magic Mastery at Ever After High.
• Personality
• The Fairy Queen is a kind and benevolent being. Despite
how exclusive her party is, she did not hesitate to invite
everyone to the fest.
Farrah goodfairy
• She is the daughter of the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella. She is part of the
cheerhexer squad and a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, Farrah
sides with the Royals because she loves the magic and fashion that comes with
her destiny; she is especially looking forward to Ashlynn Ella's makeover to the
ball.
• Befitting her name, Farrah is a genuinely goodhearted fairy. She is helpful, kind,
and selfless to a degree that's outright motherly. Even to those who are rude to
her, Farrah only returns their tactlessness with the utmost respect she gives
everyone else, and refuses to treat anyone unfairly. She's very understanding and
is never seen resorting to anger or blame and instead displays an industrious and
magnetic personality that can solve problems with ease.
• However, in the midst of solving everyone else's problems, Farrah usually forgets
to solve her own. It's easy for her to stress herself out trying to help everyone else
so badly that she neglects herself and her own problems. Though content working
behind the scenes as a fairy godmother, she has expressed a desire to be in the
spotlight for once. After she finishes living out her legacy, being the fashion-
forward dreamer that she is, Farrah plans to open boutiques around Ever After.
She owns a fashion blog called Fairest Godmother.
Faybelle thorn
• She is part of The Sleeping Beauty as the next Dark Fairy, and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny
conflict, she is on the Royal side because she loves to become the next Dark Fairy just like her mother and
become the villain in her story which is Sleeping Beauty. Even as a child, Faybelle has always loved
cheerhexing. However her mother constantly warns her that if cheerhexing happens to overtake her destiny,
she will put a stop to it. Faybelle is not prepared for such and loves both her destiny and cheerhexing a fair
amount.[1] Her story is known as both Sleeping Beauty and, according to the Ever After High website, The
Sleeping Beauty. She is the daughter of the Dark Fairy, and is a dark fairy herself.
• Faybelle Thorn is a competitive girl with a true penchant for wrongdoing. Encouraged from a young age to use
her powers for nefarious purposes, she holds no qualms about using her fairy heritage to make sure things
always go her way. She considers villainous destinies a mark of prestige, which is why she's distrustful of Raven
Queen, whose mother stole the role of the villain in The Sleeping Beauty from Faybelle's, and then has the
audacity to reject the most prestigious villain's role of them all. Due to a family curse, people always forget to
invite Faybelle to parties, which is a great source of spite for her.[2]
• Trouble follows Faybelle, and she's always at the center of attention wherever she goes - for better or for
worse. Her ambition is both her greatest strength and her Achilles' heel, as most of her exploits to assert her
spiritual dominance over her fellow students usually end up backfiring in embarrassing or tragic ways.
Nonetheless, she remains unbroken and is always ready to prove herself once more. Although she definitely
comes off as snide and selfish, Faybelle is a product of her lineage, and isn't without humanity. She knows
when she's taken things too far, and has been known to apologize for her wrongdoings, however begrudgingly.
She is a cheerhexer, the Ever After High equivalent of fearleader to Monster High. In Ever After High,
cheerleading is also cheerhexing (like fearleading), but in the Shannon Hale books, it is still called
"cheerleading" like in real life and "cheerleader" is used to describe Faybelle's uniform outfit in The Unfairest
of Them All, and even in "An Hexclusive Invitation", "cheerleader" is used by Hopper Croakington II to describe
Faybelle's school sport. It is certainly unknown if it is because, the phrase was non-invented at the time, or
that the creators didn't think of it because there is no fairytale-related word that rhymes with "cheer".
Ginger breadhouse
• She is part of Hansel and Gretel as the next witch who cooks the
children, and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny
conflict, Ginger is on the Rebel side because as much as she does
love to cook and bake, Ginger is not fond of others reminding her
that her mother's alluring treats nearly got Hansel and Gretel
cooked - Ginger is cooking solely because of her love for it and even
hosts her own cooking show named Spells Kitchen, which is a
parody of Hell’s Kitchen.
• Personality
• Ginger is a shy girl who doesn't like her destiny and would rather be
a pastry chef with her own cooking show as she loves baking and
sharing her treats with others, to the point where refusing to try
them will hurt her feelings. She is sweet-natured and forgiving,
bearing no ill will to those who wrong her. Despite the fact that most
are against the idea of Ginger going Rebel, Ginger always comes out
on top with her motivated spirits and unwavering will to do what
she loves.
Holly o’hair
• She is the daughter of Rapunzel from the fairy tale Rapunzel. She is a student
at Ever After High. Holly is a Royal, due to being the older twin and getting the
Rapunzel destiny and she is very happy about this because she wants her
destiny as the next Rapunzel. Soon Holly and Poppy learn that Poppy is really
the older twin making Poppy the one to receive the Rapunzel fairy tale.
However, for years the reverse was thought to be true and Holly enjoys the
idea of following her destiny. In "Truth or Hair" it is revealed that Holly is really
Poppy and Poppy is really Holly. Their birth certificates were switched by their
nanny, Nona. She and Poppy have agreed to keep this reality a secret from
everyone else, because Holly wants to be Rapunzel and Poppy doesn't. Holly
arranged for Poppy to go to Ever After High despite Poppy's lack of destiny
making her a Rebel by default even though later on she becomes the very first
Royal.
• Being daughter of Rapunzel, she is already used to letting others use her hair
for tower escapes and she seems happy to help. She enjoys reading and often
tells her sister Poppy stories. Because of this she is regarded as smart. This is a
pastime she will rely heavily on in her own fairy tale. Holly is a total Royal
enthusiast and she is incredibly preppy.
Jillian beanstalk
• She is the daughter of Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk. In
the destiny conflict, she is on the Rebel side because of yet
unrevealed reasons.
• Personality
• Although very little is known about Jillian, she seems to be a
person who gets straight to the point. She has shown great
bravery in Dragon Games. She is also unafraid of heights, as
seen in Beanstalk Bravado.
Justine dancer
• She is the daughter of the 12th Dancing Princess from
the fairytale The Twelve Dancing Princesses, and a
student at Ever After High. She is in a committee with
other Royals, and sides with the Royals in the destiny
conflict for unrevealed reasons.
• Personality
• For someone who sees the big picture, Justine is a
creative, hardworking and confident girl who loves to
bring out the talent in others. She has a spirited love for
dancing and believes that everyone deserves their time
under the spotlight. She also tends to dance in her sleep.
Kitty cheshire
• She's the daughter of the Cheshire Cat, the character from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
In the destiny conflict, Kitty is on the Rebel side because she doesn't want to listen to the rules
of destiny. However, the only reason why Kitty would want to follow her destiny is most
presumably her dream of making her mother proud and to be like her one day - a beautiful,
smart master of all things chaotic. Kitty herself would rather keep her affiliation of anything to
do with Royal/Rebel sides a secret to just keep everyone guessing. Per their escape to Ever
After, all the escaped Wonderlandians transferred from Wonderland High to Ever After High.
• Kitty is usually a mischievous misfit in what she says and does. She wants to create chaos and
pursues her life making mischief and being the typical "baddie" role. She slightly likes her
destiny and slightly wants to follow her mother's footsteps, but Kitty is on the Rebel side for not
wanting to listen to the rules of destiny. Also, she loves watching drama and creating chaos, but
she stays aside and hates getting involved, as she states in a book.
• Kitty is a mischievous chaotic werecat with an almost-villain streak to her. She usually likes to
cause problems for others, but really, in truth, has a good heart and loves and cares for her
friends. Her personality is quite catty, as she is very curious and likes to cause bad things to
happen almost wherever she goes. Kitty never means to be fully antagonistic or be a real
antagonist, but she sometimes forgets how to really treat her friends. Through and through,
though, Kitty is kindhearted and will even stand up against her own mother to protect both her
Wonderlandian friends and save her friends of Ever After. Kitty can somewhat bare a
personality striking streak to Toralei Stripe from Monster High, although she does not have a
group of minions and is less of a bully.
Hopper croakington 2
• He is part of The Frog Prince as the next frog prince, and he is a
student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, he is on the
Royal side because of yet unrevealed reasons. In the first Ever
After High by Shannon Hale, The Storybook of Legends he is
referred to as Hopper Croakington instead of Hopper
Croakington II up until the third book, A Wonderlandiful World.
• Personality
• Hopper essentially has two personalities: he is debonair in frog
form, while his human form brings out the pushy and awkward
in him. This results in a much repeated circle of his frog self
charming ladies, who then kiss him, turning him human, at
which point his nervousness prompts his change back into a
frog. Hopper is well-aware of his 'quirk' and laments the sorry
state of his existence. Hopper also has tendencies to turn into a
frog purposely to grab kisses from other girls.
Hunter huntsman
• He is part of both Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Little Red
Riding Hood as the next Huntsman, and he is a student at Ever After
High. In the destiny conflict, he is on the Rebel side because he
refuses to hurt, kill or even eat animals. As the next Huntsman, he can
be relied on to jump into action when he thinks someone needs help,
ripping off his shirt in one fell swoop. He learned to love Ashlynn Ella,
his girlfriend, in peace, while coming out with their relationship.
• Personality
• Hunter is a little boastful, easily annoyed, and distracted. He is serious
about his role as a hero, but not as enthusiastic about his job
description as a hunter. He cares deeply for nature and animals, and is
even a vegan, though his family won't approve this so he keeps it a
secret, as he does not eat anything that was an animal or from an
animal. He also secretly set free the animals from his father's traps[1].
At times, he can tend to be a little overconfident when confronting
problems. Hunter is the kind of boy who goes along with others easily,
but has problems finding connection on topics that deeply matter to
him, like nature and animal well-being.
Lizzie hearts
• She is part of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland as the next Queen of Hearts, and she is a student at Ever After
High. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Royal side because of years of family dedication, practice, and belief of
destiny in general. Per their escape to Ever After, all the escaped Wonderlandians transferred from Wonderland
High to Ever After High.
• Like her mother, Lizzie often condemns people and objects to decapitation, but she is really a sweetheart, despite
her capriciousness. Regardless of the fact that she is proud of her heritage, Lizzie has aspirations on becoming a
kinder Queen of Hearts, however she has trouble expressing that to her friends for it is easier said than done. She
goes a bit overboard as she memorizes her mother's daily deck of instructions and using her mother's signature
quote a lot, her bold actions often startling others around her. She acknowledges that the people of Ever After take
her exclamations far too literally. Because of that, Lizzie values genuine friendship, mostly from her Wonderlandian
friends Madeline and Kitty. She is described to act aloof and standoffish to those who don't know her personally in
practice of her role as future Queen of Wonderland. Out of the Wonderlandians who experienced the flight from
Wonderland, she is probably the most nostalgic one because her mother was also affected. Her Wonderlandian
exclamations are often misunderstood by the citizens of Ever After. In the Shannon Hale book called A
Wonderlandiful World, its revealed that Lizzie secretly wanted to make friends as she would wish she is one of the
girls who likes to party and dance with Briar Beauty but her admiration of following her mother's footsteps made it
difficult for her to do so, She is also the strongest believer of 'Nothing is impossible' a Wonderlandian belief.
• Her "Magic Touch", is that she has the ability to construct anything out of cards and to chop things with her finger,
and she can sense Hedgehogs nearby. She was pretty demanding at first but when Apple and Briar explained that
the students at Ever After High are her friends not her subjects she became a little calm.
Madeline hatter
• She is part of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland as the next Mad Hatter, and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny
conflict, she is on the Rebel side out of a general belief that people should be free to choose, though she herself is eager to follow in
her father's footsteps. As all Wonderlandians, she has access to Wonderlandian magic, although it is more accurate to say that
Wonderlandian magic has access to her, because she doesn't have control over her powers. Per their escape to Ever After, all the
escaped Wonderlandians transferred from Wonderland High to Ever After High.[1] Her middle name is revealed to be Xylophone by
her comment in "Dragon Games". She is daughter of the Mad Hatter.
• She is psychic and has the ability to hear the narrators, as well as see into the future, although this is often dismissed as insanity. She
shares this ability with Kitty Cheshire.
• Madeline is bright, energetic, and extremely friendly. Also very optimistic. Generally, she interprets things more positive than they
are, the one exception being when people are explicitly arguing. Madeline is also extremely fond of tea and keeps an entire tea set,
including her tea buddy and pet Earl Grey, in her hat to be ready for tea time literally wherever she goes. The Wonderlandian magic
which manifests in her is how she can do impossible things if she doesn't know they are impossible, she sometimes has visions of
other times and other places, she can read people's thoughts as well as being able to hear the narrators, something which her peers
don't believe her on. She also sometimes speaks in Riddlish, the Wonderlandian language of riddles without realizing that she is not
speaking Ever After English, that is. As Ever After is a completely different kingdom and country from the country of Wonderland, she
sometimes struggles to communicate with others, specifically Ever Afterlings, albeit her diary is completely understandable where she
explains the Riddlish language. In her diary, she speaks a riddle about "change", what "jingles in your pocket" but "is never the same"
about what people in Ever After of the Fairytale World are exactly afraid of (specifically about the rules of "destiny" and "fate"), and
even translates Kitty Cheshire's Riddlish to us. Underneath her giddy, happy, optimistic, positive, and bubbly personality, she also
hides a very intelligent person who can be quite serious about matters when she wants to be.
• Her "Magic Touch", is that she can pull out an item from her hat of many things which is the hat she always carry, while her tea set is
in kept her teacup hat and some tea items are in her pockets.
Meeshell mermaid
• She is a student of Ever After High and the daughter of the
Little Mermaid from the story of the same name. In the
destiny conflict, she is on the Royal side because of yet
unrevealed reasons.
• Meeshell tends to be shy or hesitant when trying out new
things and meeting new people, though she warms up to
them if they share a common interest. For example, she and
Melody Piper get along incredibly well due to their mutual
love for music.
• Meeshell is a literal fish out of water. In her human form, she
lacks confidence and is more comfortable in her true form.
Melody piper
• She is the daughter of the Pied Piper from The Pied Piper of
Hamelin. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Rebel side because
she wants music to bring people together instead of luring one
another away which happens in her story. Her father encourages
Melody to follow her heart and pursue her love of music such as
being an inspirational DJ, which to Melody, is just a stepping
stone in the process of what she truly wants music to become.
• Melody is a DJ with considerable talent, if the fact that she's
Briar Beauty's favorite is anything to go by. She doesn't seem to
care about Headmaster Grimm, and his rules much as she
interrupts him to start the party and skip the speech. She always
wants everybody to have a good time. She doesn't speak much
but lets her music do it for her, like controlling her dragon or
consoling Daring.
Mira shards
• Secretly, she is the Evil Queen in disguise, who takes the form of her
younger self to infiltrate Ever After High while the Dragon Games
take place. Unlike most, Mira does not have a side in the destiny
conflict. She most likely portrayed a Royal in Ever After High, because
the Evil Queen wants her daughter to be evil but she is mostly
probably a Rebel because she wanted the destiny to concur over
other realms and kingdoms. According to Raven Queen's Magic
Mirror Card, there's a girl who lives in Raven Queen's Magic Mirror,
who appears to Raven for a brief moment, disappearing quickly with
surprise. She could be the real Magic Mirror's daughter.
• Mira is a rather extroverted, bold, and loud person. She enjoys
whatever kind of attention she receives from other people. She
tends to be spontaneous with her words, and can be incredibly sly
and tricky. The girl who lives in Raven Queen's Magic Mirror is very
rude, saying things like "what are you looking at" for the people who
try to use the mirror.
Nina thumbell
• She is the daughter of Thumbelina of the story by the same
name, and she is a student at Ever After High. She is also
part of Faybelle Thorn's cheerhexing squad. In the destiny
conflict, she is on the Rebel side because of yet unrevealed
reasons.
• Nina isn't the character who is judgmental or is prone to
take charge of a situation. Though she is more of a go-
along-get-along type of person, Nina speaks up when she
has to. Nina believes recycling is important, and encourages
her friends to do it as well. She is as about as eco-friendly
as Ashlynn Ella is.
Poppy o’hair
• Poppy O'Hair is the older sister of Holly O'Hair and daughter of Rapunzel from
the fairy tale of the same name. She was introduced in 2013 as an all-around
character. Poppy is the younger twin and is pretty happy with this because she
doesn't want to be tied down by a destiny. However; Poppy and Holly learn
that it is really Holly who is the younger twin making Poppy the oldest and the
one expected to be the "next Rapunzel" and not her, and that their birth
certificates were switched when they were born making Poppy and Holly more
confused. For some reasons, Poppy is always determined to follow her on path
of her destiny and she doesn't want to take the title of "next Rapunzel" since
she knows how much it means to her sister, Holly. In the destiny conflict, she is
on the Rebels crowd out of freedom and free to choose her own paths in life,
however; she claims that she stands in both sides.
• Personality
• Poppy loves styling and taking care of hair and has a reputation as the best
stylist in town. As described by her sister, she enjoys taking "short cuts". Even
so, she is a free-thinker who is very innovative. As a unique individualist, Poppy
does not take likely orders from anyone and would much rather walk to the
beat of her own drum. She also has a good sense of fashion.
Ramona badwolf
• Ramona Badwolf is a 2015-introduced and fiction-only
character and is the daughter of the Big Bad Wolf from Little
Red Riding Hood, secretly Cerise Hood's older sister, and
Red Riding Hood's daughter. She is a student at Ever After
High, after being sent to a reform school for bad behavior. It
is unknown where she stands in the destiny conflict.
• Like her younger sister Cerise Hood, Ramona is incredibly
loyal about the people she cares about. She can be
somewhat moody and edgy, but has a good heart. Ramona
can be a good friend and loyal to those she trusts, especially
even her roommate Justine Dancer, as seen in the webisode
"Moonlight Mystery". She is also athletic like her sister.
Raven queen
• She is 15 years old and is the main character. She is part of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as
the next Evil Queen, and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, she is on the
Rebel side. In fact, she technically is the founder of the Rebel movement, because it was her
rejection of her destiny that inspired others. She dislikes this situation, however, because it
makes the other students, Rebels, and uncertain Royals alike, come to her for guidance, which
she cannot provide. Raven is not evil by any stretch of the definition and so playing the role of
villain does not sit well with her. Nor does she enjoy the prospect of the punishment that she, as
a villain, is destined to. Resolving only her own problem already takes a lot of her energy and as
such, she cannot help others make their own personal decisions.
• Contrary to popular belief at Ever After High, Raven Queen is not evil or even so much as mean.
She is kind, smart, extremely loyal to her friends, and considerate with a sarcastic side born from
frustration over her unjust reputation. When people try to socialize with her, she is skeptical
about their intentions, but not so much that it limits her ability to make new friends. Raven loves
music, she is often seen with her headphones on and she plays the guitar, piano, and sings when
no one is around. One of her most favorite artists is Tailor Quick.
• Raven is not the first student to dislike where her story is taking her, but she is the only one in her
class to take actions towards free will: starting with the small step of pursuing her love and talent
for music, a subject usually reserved for good princesses.
• Her "Magic Touch", is that she can cast spells.
Rosabella beauty
• She is part of Beauty and the Beast as the next Beauty, and she is a student
at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, she's a Rebel because she believes
that her destiny is not as important as helping others - for example, helping
beasts and fighting for equality. As an animal-lover, Rosabella is more than
willing to give up her Happily Ever After for her own personal beliefs.
• Personality
• Rosabella is a passionate young girl with a tender heart for creatures,
especially beasts who are treated badly by Fairy Tale society. She fights for
what she wants, and selflessly campaigns for the better treatment of beastly
students. She considers all animals beautiful, no matter how homely or
disturbing they may appear.
• In addition to her activist spirit, Rosabella is bookish, intelligent, and intuitive.
She enjoys reading and writing when she isn't campaigning for animal rights.
She has the magical ability to see people for who they really are, in the form
of colored auras she can decipher. She's also an effective leader and
organizer for her causes, and is able to appeal to people's true senses.
Humphrey dumpty
• He is a student at Ever After High and the son of
Humpty Dumpty from the nursery rhyme of the same
name. It is currently unknown where he stands in the
destiny conflict, however, he appears to show some
Rebel support.
• He has been described as an egghead, figuratively. He
is good with technology, and is often found in the
Mirror Lab. Humphrey is a bit flustered around Apple
White, but is equally eager to impress her. He likes to
ra in his free time.
Sparrow hood
• He is part of Robin Hood as the next Robin Hood, and he is a
student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, he is on the
Rebel side because he'd rather have his face on a concert poster
than on a wanted poster. As the leader of the Merry Men, this is
not an easy goal for Sparrow. While some of them are Rebels
too, others are Royals - a situation that divides the group of
otherwise close friends who look up to Sparrow.
• Sparrow is the kind of person who likes be stuped but prefers to
limit his ties. He is a charmer, able to catch the interest of many
girls, but usually not interested in keeping a hold on it. As
befitting his destiny, Sparrow is a practiced thief and conman.
Nonetheless, he has little interest in his prewritten future, as
he'd rather be a musician. He is a skilled singer and guitarist.
Beginning
1. The World of Ever After High
2. Apple's Tale: The Story of a Royal
3. Raven's Tale: The Story of a Rebel
The world of ever after high
• Ever After High is a high school that prepares the teenage children of fairy tale figures
for the day they'll take their parents' place and keep their stories alive. This year,
however, a young woman destined for the role of villain, Raven Queen, considers
another option: one in which she can have a Happily Ever After of her own.
• This does not sit well with the Headmaster, Milton Grimm, because the stories have to
be repeated as they are to continue to exist. On top of that, many of the students, led
by Raven's own counterpart Apple White, do not appreciate the idea of Raven and her
like-minded peers deviating from their roles, as it might interfere with their own
destinies. Along this line, the student body finds itself split between the Royals, mostly
the ones who were promised a Happily Ever After, from the day they were born, and
the Rebels, the ones who are not favored by destiny or who sympathize with those who
aren't. The Royals seek the safety of continuing their stories, while the Rebels, wish the
freedom afforded by rewriting the script.
• Yet while the conflict brews, daily life goes on. This forces the students to not only
figure out their beliefs and wishes and how to fight for them, but to also navigate the
way this affects their familial relationships, friendships, and romances, as well as their
school results. Life at Ever After High may be enchanting, but simple it is not.
Apple’s tale: the story of a royal
• Apple White and Briar Beauty are making their way through the Enchanted Forest and the Village of Book End to Ever
After High. Apple is highly excited, as this school year her grade's Legacy Day will occur, which will be the first step on
the path to her destiny as queen. Briar is less excited about Legacy Day and her subsequent one hundred year-lasting
sleep, but looks forward to all she'll be doing this year, including the Legacy Day afterparty. At school, the two friends
split up so Briar can greet everybody while Apple catches up with her husband-to-be Daring Charming and has a mini-
interview with Blondie Lockes.
• Later that day, Apple gets Briar to help her decorate the half of her dorm room that will be occupied by Raven Queen,
the villain-to-be of Snow White. This is a last minute change from the dorm room plan which originally had Apple and
Briar rooming, requested by Apple as a surprise for Raven. When Raven arrives a little earlier than expected, Briar
flings herself out of the window to not interfere with the surprise and because she's never flung herself out of a
window before. Luckily for her, Daring happens to be standing just under the window and catches her.
• The next day, Briar and Apple go into town and meet up with Ashlynn Ella, who invites them to go with her on a forest
walk later. The three are interrupted by a massive shoe delivery, which immediately gets all of Ashlynn's attention.
Coincidentally, the bell of Ever After High sounds to notify the students that the Legacy Day rehearsals will begin soon,
so the two leave Ashlynn and return to the school building.
• At the rehearsal, Headmaster Grimm instructs the assembled students. Raven tries to ask a question, but he ignores
her to get on with the rehearsals. Apple, Briar, and Daring go through theirs, but when it's Raven's turn, she uses the
moment to voice her question anyway: what if she doesn't want to make the pledge? All present are shocked, and
Headmaster Grimm tries to subdue the situation by insisting that Raven continues. Raven, however, runs off, and so
does Apple soon after, because Raven's refusal to be the villain would deny Apple her Happily Ever After. As she
considers her predicament in the Enchanted Forest, Headmaster Grimm approaches her and asks her to help convince
Raven to embrace her destiny. Apple accepts, not only for her sake, but for the sake of the entirety of Ever After.
Raven’s tale: the story of a rebel
• Raven Queen and Madeline Hatter are making their way through the Enchanted Forest and the Village of Book End to Ever
After High. The narrators start bickering, which prompts Madeline to scold them and tell them to stop. Since only Madeline
can hear the narrators, Raven is confused, but gently drops the matter to vent her frustration over her terrible reputation,
which is based on her heritage and not her actual personality. Madeline attempts to comfort Raven by insisting that
everyone loves her, but is quickly disproved when they enter the school and all present flee at the very sight of Raven. This
doesn't seem to faze Madeline, who repeats that everyone loves Raven, but goes off on another tangent when she realizes
it's tea time. Again, Raven lets her friend be, smiling as she walks off to the castleteria.
• Feared as she is, Raven sits alone at a lunch table when Dexter Charming, who has a crush on her, tries to chat. He doesn't
get very far, as they are interrupted by the arrival of Daring Charming and Apple White. The two pairs greet each other and
talk about their next classes when the bell rings. Cerise Hood walks by as they do and Daring greets her, accidentally
blinding her with his perfect smile. Cerise's wolf side is provoked and she growls on instinct, realizing her error a moment
later, but a moment too late nonetheless. Blaming it on a cold, she runs out of the castleteria.
• At sunset, Raven makes her way to her dorm room, where she is surprised to be greeted by Apple. The latter reveals that
she arranged for the two of them to get a room together, instead of with respectively Madeline and Briar. She even took it
upon herself to decorate Raven's side of the room with furniture she deemed appropriate for a villain-to-be. Raven is not at
all pleased, but Apple fails to notice.
• The next day, at the Legacy Day rehearsal, Headmaster Grimm instructs the assembled students. Raven tries to ask a
question, but he ignores her to get on with the rehearsals. Madeline, Hunter, and Cedar go through theirs, but when it's
Raven's turn, she uses the moment to voice her question anyway: what if she doesn't want to make the pledge? All present
are shocked, and Headmaster Grimm tries to subdue the situation by insisting that Raven continues. Raven, however, runs
off, stopping only when she's reached the serenity of the Enchanted Forest. As she considers her predicament, she is
unaware she is being watched by Giles Grimm, the Head Librarian of the Vault of Lost Tales, who too wonders what Raven's
doubt will mean to the world of Ever After.

Stark Raven mad
• During Muse-ic, Kitty Cheshire disturbs class by tricking Professor Piper into
playing the melody that summons a rain of rats to fall upon him. Kitty vanishes
with a grin, at which point Raven Queen is called from class to visit Baba Yaga's
office.
• When she arrives, she finds not only Ms. Yaga waiting for her, but also
Headmaster Grimm, Apple, Briar, Maddie, and Lizzie. Baba Yaga explains that
they've arranged an intervention to get her back on the path of villainy. Raven
objects, but she is told to sit down and listen. Apple speaks first, proclaiming the
problem is that Raven is too apologetic for an evil queen and she should stop
feeling guilty for doing bad things. Next is Briar, but she is distracted and starts
about the bungee platform she has set up. Baba Yaga cuts her off and asks for
Maddie's opinion. Maddie is not cooperative, having been tricked into attending
with the promise of a tea party, and thus voices her support for and appreciation
of Raven. Moving on, Milton asks Lizzie about her thoughts, and she simply
suggests decapitating Raven.
• At once, everyone begins to bicker, agitating Raven even further. She angrily
unleashes a spell to create silence, which hits Headmaster Grimm. He is turned
into a chicken-man, which at first pleases him because Raven performed an evil
act. It is when she storms off that he properly realizes his predicament and runs
after her, asking to be changed back to normal. The other students find this most
entertaining.
True reflections
• One morning in Apple's and Raven's shared dorm room, both girls are getting ready in
front of their mirrors. Apple is singing, much to Raven's annoyance, and asks her
magic mirror who the fairest at the school is. Of course, it replies that she is. Content
with the answer, Apple leaves to borrow jewelry from Briar. In the meantime, Raven
attempts to curl her hair with a spell, but it bounces off of her own mirror and strikes
Apple's mirror. When Apple returns and asks what her mirror thinks of her jewelry, it
responds with a rude and negative answer. She is taken aback and wonders aloud if
something happened while she was gone. Raven lies she can't recall anything, but
offers to help her find a new mirror.
• They first they approach for a replacement-mirror is Briar, but she only has a compact.
Next they ask Blondie Lockes to lend them one from her huge mirror collection, which
she's willing to, but only if she can find the one among them that is "just right". As a
last resort, they ask Daring if Apple can borrow his hand mirror. He agrees if he can
check himself one more time first, which takes longer than they're willing to wait, so
they return to their dorm.
• Apple paces the room and laments like a true damsel in distress. Raven can't take it
anymore and finally confesses that she broke the mirror. Apple, in turn, admits that
she knew the whole time that her evil roommate had broken it, and has already
ordered another one. In the meantime, she suggests Raven make it up to her by
pretending to be her magic mirror and saying all of the encouraging things she is used
to hearing. Raven goes along with it reluctantly.
Maddie in chief
• The whole student body is watching Blondie Lockes's MirrorCast show when she covers the
matter of the upcoming royal student council elections. Apple White is running unopposed,
as always, so the position is as good as hers. Apple is unfazed, promising that if she has no
opponent, she'll use her debate time to outline her ambitions for when she is elected into
the position.
• Raven is annoyed by the situation and wishes someone would run against Apple for
student council president. Maddie promptly decides to run against Apple, which surprises
Raven. Nonetheless, the two quickly set up a campaign. While they are handing out
buttons around the school, Dexter comes over to talk to Raven, but Maddie interrupts by
pinning a button onto him. It gets into his skin and he walks away, trying to cover up the
pain in front of Raven, while she just smiles.
• Later, the students gather in the charmitorium to hear the debate. Blondie, the host and
openly in favor of Apple, asks Apple why anyone would not vote for her. Apple sidesteps
the question by replying that she would rule the student council like she will her kingdom:
perfectly. The Royals cheer, but the Rebels glare. Blondie then asks Maddie why she's even
bothering to run against Apple. Madeline answers in Riddlish, which no one understands,
but has the Rebels cheering anyway. Now, it's the Royals who glare, and they don't leave it
at that. The charmitorium erupts in argument, but Maddie silences everyone with the
perfect solution: she and Apple will become student council co-presidents.
Briar’s study party
• One day early in the school year, Professor Rumpelstiltskin announces a Science
and Sorcery test of chapters one to thirty-four. The class is outraged about the
unfairness of such a comprehensive test this soon, but they can't do anything
about it. That night, the students gather for a study session and Blondie Lockes
informs them that this test is a recurring part of Rumpelstiltskin's class.
Specifically, at the beginning of the year, he always gives an impossible test. His
intention is to get students to ask for extra credit and he always makes them
spin straw into gold for him.
• With the test looming over them, Briar announces she can tutor her friends,
since she has been studying a lot on her own. Her friends are relieved, but
before they can even start, Briar falls asleep. Aware that without her help they'll
fail the test, the students work to wake her up. Neither loud noises nor bright
lights do the trick, though. Dexter remarks that Briar takes partying more
seriously than studying, which inspires Raven to wake Briar with music.
• The effect is immediate and Briar decides to turn the study session into a study
party, tutoring her friends to the beat of the music. The next day,
Rumpelstiltskin, gleefully collects the tests and begins grading them. To his
dismay, the whole class has gotten A's. All laugh, while the professor wails.
Here comes Cupid
• C.A. Cupid travels through a mirror portal to Ever After High, another high school in need of her
matchmaking expertise. As soon as she arrives, she sees many potential relationships and works her
magic, giving them a push in the right direction. On a slow day, she is approached by a frog who eloquently
introduces himself as Hopper Croakington II and requests her help. Cupid assumes he wants to be human
again and kisses him, failing to notice his protests. As soon as Hopper is a human, he awkwardly blurts out
a bad pickup line and turns back into a frog. He explains that this—clumsy human or suave frog—is how
his curse works, and that he cannot properly present himself to Briar Beauty, whom he has a crush on.
Cupid proposes that they record lines while he is in frog form so that she can play them for him when he
approaches Briar, in human form.
• One night on a balcony, Briar meets Hopper after being told a secret admirer was waiting for her there.
She is displeased to find out it's Hopper who has a crush on her, listing off the reasons she doesn't return
the feeling. Once she's done, Cupid, who is hiding beside the balcony on top of a pillar made out of
furniture, plays a recording from earlier while Hopper lip syncs. Briar is impressed by the compliment and
asks if Hopper has any more poetry.
• Meanwhile, Dexter walks by in the courtyard below and greets Cupid, taking off his glasses. Cupid just so
happens to have a crush on Dexter and this, combined with the fact that all girls swoon over him when he
takes his glasses off, causes Cupid to lose her balance when she sees him. She falls down, but is fortunately
caught by Dexter. Unfortunately, Hopper is now without help and predictably ruins his chances the
moment he opens his mouth. He offends Briar, and promptly turns into a frog, which Briar thinks is gross.
Hopper licks up a frog ad Broarbwalks away.
The shoe must go on
• The Glass Slipper is having a new shipment of shoes and Ashlynn knows the store will
draw a lot of customers that day, so she gets her friends to help her. First, Hunter delivers
the shoes to her store. Ashlynn is grateful, but declines his offer for a date as not only
does she have more work to do, her other friends will arrive soon and she doesn't want
them to know about her and Hunter. Before Hunter realizes it, he's been pushed out
through the back door.
• Briar and Blondie enter the store shortly after, but they are not the help Ashlynn was
counting on. Blondie is overbearing and, doesn't get anything done because she is set on
doing it perfectly all at once, while Briar promptly falls asleep. Meanwhile, Hunter isn't
faring all that well either, being pelted with acorns by Pesky and failing at capturing him
for payback.
• At only a minute before The Glass Slipper opens, only one box of shoes has been opened
and the stress is getting to Ashlynn. However, Hunter, in pursuit of Pesky, comes speeding
back in through the back door and follows the squirrel into the pile of shoe boxes.
Miraculously, the motion launches up all the shoes from the boxes, after which they land
on display perfectly. The Glass Slipper opens by the force of many shoe enthusiasts, who
are more than content with the display. Ashlynn takes the moment to sneak off to Hunter
and kiss him in gratitude. Only, the kiss never happens due to Pesky drawing Hunter's
attention once more. Ashlynn takes it in stride.
The cat who cried wolf
• Deep within the Enchanted Forest, Cerise and Carmine are having a race. Though they
have a lot of fun, Cerise has to return to school. Carmine licks her face in greeting, which
makes her hood fall off and her wolf ears become exposed. Ushering Carmine back to
their pack, Cerise puts her hood back on and runs off, unaware that Kitty Cheshire saw
everything.
• Back at school, Kitty confronts Cerise and insinuates she will spill Cerise's secret to
everyone. Cerise is next approached by Raven, who notices something is wrong with her
and offers to help. Feeling desperate and needing someone reliable to know, Cerise
reveals that she is not only the daughter of Red Riding Hood, but also the Big Bad Wolf—
she is the result of a marriage, that goes against all fairytale norms. Raven vows not to tell
a soul, but Cerise counters that Raven isn't the one she expects to rat her out anyway.
• During Grimmnastics, the students are made to run laps. One particular race pits Cerise
against Daring Charming and the middle pig. All seems fine until Kitty appears in the
audience and her lackeys show up with a cage. On Kitty's sign, they release a deer within
the track and the sight of it triggers Cerise's wolf instincts. She completes the lap much
faster than her opponents, shocking everyone present. Kitty's lackeys lock away the deer
again, and Cerise returns to normal. Realizing what she has done, Cerise tries to make
herself small, but Kitty draws attention back to her with taunts that Cerise has something
to tell the school. At this point, Raven cuts in and announces that Cerise's feat, was made
possible with her black magic. Kitty protests, but Raven shuts her up by casting such a
spell on her. As Kitty involuntarily does laps, Cerise thanks Raven.
Cedar wood would love to lie
• Professor Nimble tells his students to come up with a tall tale as their
homework for the next class. This assignment is a problem to Cedar Wood, as
she is cursed to not ever lie. She brings this up with the teacher, who says that
she should find a true story that is dramatic enough to sound like a tall tale.
• Cedar takes the advice and goes in search of an outrageous true story. Deep in
the Enchanted Forest, Cedar spots Ashlynn and Hunter having a romantic picnic
together and realizes they are dating. She confronts them about it, but they
deny the allegation. Not one to be easily fooled, Cedar presents them, with
various pieces of evidence until the two lovebirds can no longer hide the truth.
Cedar is proud of her discovery, but horrified when she realizes this is her tall
tale, which she won't be able to keep to herself next class. Hunter, nervously
eating peanuts, says something, but can't be heard properly with his mouth full.
This gives Cedar an idea.
• Next class, Cedar brings along a bag of peanuts. When she begins her tall tale,
she stuffs her mouth, making her story impossible to hear. She keeps stuffing
her mouth through the whole presentation, confusing most of her fellow
students, but earning Hunter's and Ashlynn's gratitude. They say that she is a
“nut” in all the right ways.
Catching Raven
• Briar's hosting a party and Dexter wants to ask Raven to go with him. However, he lacks
the courage to approach her and instead stares dreamily at her from behind his locker's
door. C.A. Cupid shows up behind him, hoping for a nice chat with her crush, but she
quickly realizes that's not going to happen. Dexter tells her of his problem, explaining
he'd like to be more like his confident brother. Cupid suggests him to try his "asking
out"-skills on his friends, hoping Dexter will try with her. However, Dexter is so
enthusiastic, about the idea that he immediately runs off to try his skills on his other
friends.
• During Science and Sorcery, Dexter tries asking Briar, but she just falls asleep, per her
destiny. His next plan is to test his luck with Maddie during a walk, but he blunders
through his sentence so badly, that Maddie just thinks he speaks Riddlish, a
Wonderlandian language, too. Finally, he tries to woo a troll girl, which works, but ends
with him covered in kiss-obtained slobber.
• Defeated, Dexter returns to Ever After High for some solitary sunset watching on the
balcony. Unexpectedly, he is joined by Raven, who often comes up to watch the sunset.
Even more unexpectedly, she asks him to Briar's party, explaining that going with a
friend puts less pressure on her. Dexter eagerly accepts and makes a victory dance when
Raven, leaves that has him falling from the balcony into the bushes below. Cupid just so
happens to be sitting there reading, and Dexter makes use of the opportunity to thank
her for advice. He gives her a kiss on her cheek, leaving her giggling happily.
The tale of legacy day
• It is the morning of Legacy Day, and while most students are preparing for and looking forward to the grand ceremony,
Raven is nervous and miserable. She doesn't want to sign the Storybook of Legends, but she also doesn't want to let
everyone down or potentially disappear. Fortunately, Madeline knows someone who might be able to help her with her
decision. Just as they are about to meet with this person, Apple spots them. Raven makes a run for it, pulling Maddie
along, before Apple can catch up and hold another speech about their duty to follow destiny.
• Raven and Maddie head to the library, where the latter uses a code of knocks on a door. The two are transported, to the
other side, right into the Vault of Lost Tales. Madeline introduces Raven to the librarian, Giles Grimm, who only speaks
Riddlish. On behalf of Raven, she asks him about the consequences of not signing the Storybook of Legends. Giles's
answer suggests that there are none, but Madeline notes that Riddlish is not an exact language, so she can't be sure her
interpretation of his words is correct.
• That evening, the ceremony is in full swing when Apple is asked to step forward and sign the Storybook of Legends. The
book shows her the future she would have if she was to sign, which is filled with nothing but glamour and fame. Apple
eagerly signs. Next is Raven, still unsure of what choice to make. The book reveals her future as one filled with exile,
poverty, and captivity. This seals the deal for Raven and she closes the book without signing it, declaring that her choice
is the start of her own Happily Ever After. To everyone's amazement, including her own, she does not disappear. Angry
about the lie, she turns to Headmaster Grimm but Apple's cries draw her attention away. Raven tries to talk with her,
but the crowd is loud and restless with either shouting or cheering. Agitated, Raven casts a time-freeze spell on
everyone before she even realizes she's capable of that. Nonetheless, it makes talking with Apple easier. After
unfreezing Apple alone, Raven apologizes to her for not playing along with Apple's story, but affirms her belief in free
choice. Apple refuses to be consoled and runs away in tears. Left alone, Raven unfreezes Maddie for support in this
pivotal moment.
• Up in the school building, Milton Grimm worries about the future and the danger Raven unleashed with her open
defiance. His thoughts are interrupted, by a dark laugh coming from a mirror in his office.
The day ever after
• After the complete bust that was that year's Legacy Day ceremony, tensions are high
between the Royals and the Rebels. During lunch, Daring denounces Raven's refusal to sign
the Storybook of Legends to his fellow Royals. A nearby table of Rebels overhears, leading to
Cerise standing up for Raven. Briar takes up the glove in return, arguing against Raven with a
story that heavily exaggerates the Royals' interpretation of Raven's anti-destiny speech.
Maddie isn't about to let her friend's reputation be tarnished like that and counters with an
equally heavily exaggerated, and inaccurate account of Apple's speech. Before it comes to
blows, the Royals and the Rebels agree to stop and ignore each other from then on.
• From a higher level in the castleteria, Kitty observes the altercation with glee and decides
her entertainment should not end just yet. Taking a few fries, she throws them at Briar, who
assumes the Rebels are responsible. As she is about to confront them, Kitty throws a few
fries at Cerise and Maddie, who assume Briar is responsible. It only takes a few more
seconds for both tables to start a castleteria-covering food fight.
• Apple and Raven, arrive in the castleteria right in the middle of the food fight and promptly
put an end to it with the aid of Raven's magic. As their friends turn to them in surprise, they
explain that while they don't see eye to eye about destiny, they don't want that to be cause
of hostilities among their friends. However, Apple can't resist adding that Raven
accomplished nothing at Legacy Day and that thus the Royals don't need to worry because
Raven will “come around and sign.” Provoked, Raven throws some food at Apple, who
doesn't let that slide and throws a pudding in retaliation. Before long, the food fight is in full
swing once more. Will the madness ever end?
Replacing raven
• Maddie and Raven talk about Apple's heavy reaction to the Legacy Day events, with
Raven noting she wants to make it up to Apple. Maddie advises that Raven find a
replacement for the role of Evil Queen so that Apple still has her fairytale villain,
which gives Raven hope. She even gets her replacement practically thrown at her,
because the smallest of the three little pigs overheard and volunteers, claiming it's his
dream to be evil. Raven is amused more than convinced, but doesn't discourage him.
• Eager to prove himself, the littlest pig decides to commit "evil" acts. His first scheme
involves replacing yellow mustard with brown mustard in the castleteria, but people
only like the unexpected taste. Next, he plans on dropping balloons filled with
dangerous gas on the students. However, his dangerous gas is just harmless helium.
As Raven demonstrates, all it does is cause the balloons to float.
• The two are joined on the balcony by Apple, who has heard that Raven is looking for
a replacement for the role of Evil Queen. Rather than happy, she is even more upset
that Raven is trying to replace herself in their story, arguing that they're supposed to
be frenemies. Raven retorts that she doesn't want to have that relation with Apple,
but before their disagreement can continue, the littlest pig shouts for attention. He
has attached himself to the balloons and is floating away, proclaiming he doesn't
want to be evil anymore and instead wants to be a balloonatic.
Blondie’s just right
• In the wake of the Legacy Day fiasco, Headmaster Grimm is worried that more of the school legends will be
questioned. To save what can be saved, he recruits Blondie Lockes to utilize her MirrorCast show to prove
those legends to be true. Blondie is only eager to take on the subject. The first legend on her list is that troll
tears make for a wonderful shampoo, which she tests on Cedar Wood. The result is less than satisfactory
though, as Cedar's hair is turned all green. Headmaster Grimm, who hides out in the back to make sure the
legends are indeed proven true, quickly switches the troll tear bottle for another. Blondie suggests they just
need to use more troll tears and so empties the new bottle on Cedar, whose hair is instantly turned perfect.
Victorious for now, Headmaster Grimm sneaks away, but trips and spills the troll tears over his own hand,
turning it hideous.
• The next legend to be verified is that giants are terrible dancers. Duchess Swan and Tiny assist in proving the
claim, but Tiny dances just as well as Duchess. Headmaster Grimm, who's still tagging along in the shadows,
uses a mirror to reflect the stage lights into Tiny's eyes. Tiny can't see anymore and topples, falling right on
top of Headmaster Grimm. Unaware still of his meddling, the legend that giants are terrible dancers is
declared true.
• Lastly, Blondie gets Sparrow Hood to help prove that griffins will leave their nests if the right song is played.
Sparrow plays his guitar and the griffin enjoys the song, but it only nods to the rhythm. Headmaster Grimm
climbs up to the nest and begins to shoo and poke the griffin away. Annoyed, the griffin flies up and stomps
on Grimm, causing him to fall off the tree. He crash-lands just as Blondie ends the segment. Enthusiastic
about the results, Blondie approaches him and begins to share her other ideas for legends that still need to
be proven. Thinking back on what he has already gone through that day, Grimm faints as Blondie goes
through her list.
True hearts day part 1
• It is spring in the world of Ever After and love blossoms along, undaunted by the reality that the
population's romantic potential has already been laid out within their destinies for them. Even C.A. Cupid,
daughter of Eros, is bound by the rules of Ever After. But being from another world, these rules do nothing
to stop her from pining after Dexter Charming. He does not feel the same, but appreciates her friendship.
It is because of this that he entrusts her with a book he found in the forbidden section of the library called
The History of True Hearts Day. Cupid is overjoyed and immediately heads to Headmaster Grimm's office to
convince him to return the holiday to its glory of years ago. Headmaster Grimm, however, refuses to do so,
calling the holiday dangerous because it doesn't fit with the pro-destiny philosophies of the school. Though
he fails to take the book from Cupid, he forbids her to talk about it with anyone. Intimidated but not easily
shaken from her goal, Cupid meets up with Briar and tells her all about True Hearts Day through charades.
She easily convinces the resident party girl to help her organize a secret True Hearts Day dance.
• Down in the Enchanted Forest, Duchess enlists Sparrow to help her obtain evidence of Ashlynn's and
Hunter's secret romance. They find Ashylnn and Hunter on a romantic date and Duchess, after taking
pictures, threatens to expose their secret and take Ashlynn's place in the royal rankings as well as her
Happily Ever After. The threat ruins Ashlynn's and Hunter's date, prompting Ashlynn to return to The Glass
Slipper to think the situation over. Apple pays the store a visit and notices Ashlynn's distress, but Ashlynn
declines to share her problem with Apple, who is widely known for her pro-destiny mindset.
• Back at Ever After High, Cupid holds her radio show to help others with their love problems. Dexter calls in
to gain advice on how to confess his love to Raven Queen. Despite precautions, Cupid recognizes the caller
as Dexter. Heartbroken but dutiful, she tells him to put his feelings down on parchment. Thanking Cupid,
Dexter quickly goes to write Raven a love poem. Once finished, he leaves the poem at Raven's locker for
her to find. He hides nearby and watches as his crush finds the gift, but things go differently than he
anticipated. Because he signed the poem as "D. Charming", Raven incorrectly interprets it to be from
Daring Charming, leaving Dexter's heart worse off than before.
True hearts day part 2
• Ashlynn and Hunter ask Cedar Wood, the only trustworthy person who knows about their relationship, to
meet them in a café because they need help now that Duchess is on the verge of exposing them. Cedar
advises them to reveal their relationship before Duchess can, which they agree is the best course of
action.
• At Ever After High, C.A. Cupid receives a shipment of party supplies. Headmaster Grimm becomes
suspicious and asks her what the party supplies are for. Cupid stutters, but Briar and Hopper rush to the
rescue and tell the headmaster that they are using them for a play. The explanation satisfies him until a
shipment of heart-shaped cakes arrives. Thinking fast, Cupid tells the headmaster that they're for a scene
where Briar throws cakes at Hopper. Briar demonstrates to sell the story, which convinces Headmaster
Grimm of their sincerity. In another hallway, Duchess finds Blondie Lockes resistant to reporting on
Ashlynn and Hunter, because she doesn't want to harm her friends. Duchess tries to change her mind,
but Hunter and Ashlynn choose that moment to make their relationship public themselves. Duchess is
angry that she's been thwarted, which amuses the couple until Apple walks up to them and expresses
her disapproval. As it turns out, the entire school has strong opinions about the couple; the Rebels
wholeheartedly support them and the Royals are skeptical at best.
• All in all, Ashlynn is overwhelmed and tries to make sense of everything. After Princessology, she tries to
talk with Apple. Though past her initial distress, Apple still can't agree with Ashylnn's choice, in part
because Ashlynn did not trust Apple to know about the relationship before the public reveal. Still
thinking, Ashlynn goes for a walk in the Village of Book End, where she encounters Duchess. Duchess
gloats over Ashlynn's self-destruction, having realized that it is irrelevant to her plans who brought the
relationship to light. Noticing that her enemy is happy about the situation and her friends are everything
but, Ashlynn concludes that she and Hunter have made a mistake. As such, she takes him aside in the
castleteria to break up for their own and everyone else's sakes. Unable to cope, she leaves Hunter
standing alone and heartbroken.
True hearts day part 3
• Early that evening, the students of Ever After High sneak out of their rooms to attend the True Hearts Day dance. That is, everyone but Duchess and
her friend Sparrow, who have not been told where the dance is because of the odds that Duchess would tell on the party-goers rather than join
them. Sparrow is resentful towards Duchess because she is the reason he is not invited, and therefore, he refuses to help her find the location of
the party. Duchess doesn't press the matter, because she spots Cedar, whose curse will force her to reveal where the dance is held. Once she has
the information, she rushes to Headmaster Grimm's office and plucks him out of an important broadcast. He is angry about this until he hears of the
secret True Hearts Day dance and orders Duchess to lead him to the party.
• At the True Hearts Day dance, the ever-popular Melody Piper DJs and everyone is having a wonderful time. Raven takes the opportunity to thank
Daring for the love poem she found at her locker. However, Daring denies knowledge of any poem and Raven realizes that "D. Charming" is actually
Dexter Charming. Dexter, meanwhile, is watching the conversation from afar in the belief that he lost Raven to his better brother. C.A. Cupid joins
his table, noticing his sad face and needing only a moment to follow his gaze and figure out his problem. Rather than flirt with him, as she had
intended, she sits down next to him as a friend. She advises Dexter to stop comparing himself to Daring, because his qualities as an individual do not
depend on Daring's qualities. Grateful for the support, Dexter lays his hand on hers. Just then, Raven chooses to talk with Dexter, delighted at the
prospect of him as her secret admirer over Daring, but as she sees Dexter and Cupid sitting close, she sorrowfully assumes she is too late and
retreats.
• Later that evening, Cupid calls for a break in the music and dancing to tell the story of True Hearts Day, which hasn't been told in years and isn't
likely to be commonly known. Historically, True Hearts Day is the day that everyone in Ever After goes to pick a blossom from the Heart Tree, a
special tree that survives even the harshest of winters, and then gives that blossom to the person dearest to them. To return to this tradition, Cupid
has arranged for a group of fairies to pick the blossoms this year and distribute them among the students, so that they too can share their heart
with someone special. Moved by the story, Ashlynn grabs the crowd's attention from Cupid to declare her love for Hunter and give him her heart
blossom, which he joyfully accepts. All present cheer for them, except Apple, who walks over to them. Ashlynn apologizes for her choices, but Apple
unexpectedly gives Ashlynn her heart blossom. She explains that even though she disagrees with Ashlynn's choices, she will always be her friend.
With any conflict out of the way, the music is soon back on and the dance floor is filled. Dexter prepares to give Raven his blossom, but Madeline
pulls her away and Lizzie steals the blossom. Cerise asks Cupid where Cedar is, since she hasn't seen her around yet. Cupid reveals, as Cedar walks
in, that she was their decoy, having been told a wrong location specifically so Duchess would not find them. A note was left in Cedar's room so she'd
be able to make her way to the correct location eventually.
• Over in the Enchanted Forest, Duchess and Headmaster Grimm arrive at the location Cedar said the dance was to be held. With music coming from
within the building, all seems to go according to plan for Duchess. Headmaster Grimm kicks the door open to catch the students red-handed, but
they find only Sparrow practicing with his Merry Men. Headmaster Grimm gives Duchess detention for having lied to him, which Sparrow concurs
she dese
Class confusion
• It's time for students to pick elective classes and Raven tells Maddie that because she can now take control
of her destiny, she will sign up for a class she's never thought of taking before: Princessology. Apple, who is
standing nearby and overhears, insists that it isn't right for Raven to choose such a class. To prove her point,
Apple decides that if Raven takes Princessology, she will sign up for Home Evilnomics, in spite of Raven.
• Soon after, Apple has her first Home Evilnomics class and is slightly intimidated by the frightening
surroundings and her classmates. Her first Home Evilnomics assignment further drops her resolve: each
student is to go into the Enchanted Forest, find an animal, and then turn it evil. The other students have no
trouble with any part of the project, but Apple can't bring herself to turn the little beige rabbit she found
evil. At first, she tries to reason around the final part of the project by arguing that, since the rabbit is
munching on a carrot very quickly, it will surely get an "evil" tummyache. The teacher, Baba Yaga, doesn't
consider it good enough and tells Apple to try again. For her second attempt, Apple creates a mask of Baba
Yaga's face and makes the rabbit wear it, but the sorceress doesn't buy it. She tells the princess that she gets
one more chance to turn the rabbit evil or she will fail the assignment. Apple returns to the Enchanted
Forest, pondering over what to do, as woodland creatures flock to her. Among them is a billygoat, which
appearance gives Apple an idea.
• Back in Home Evilnomics, Apple presents the class with her rabbit before pulling a curtain in front of herself.
From behind it, she claims to be casting her spell, while in reality she is attaching bunny ears to the billygoat
she secretly brought along. Lifting the curtain, Apple reveals her creation. Though still not impressed, Baba
Yaga lets Apple pass with a D minus minus. Elated, Apple meets up with Raven at her locker to proudly
announce her success in an evil class, but her mood changes when she learns that Raven dropped
Princessology only a few minutes in. As Raven leaves, Apple wonders what to do with Home Evilnomics and
the class's current project: growing evil plants, with hers possessing terrible manners.
Apple’s birthday bake-off
• The student body is preparing for Apple White's birthday, which is celebrated with
a royal birthday cake baking contest. Apple is excited until Raven informs her that
she'll participate with an apple crumb cake that isn't the slightest bit poisoned.
Apple goes to Briar and Ashlynn for a shoulder to cry on, then decides a warm
bath will do her good. Once Apple is gone, Briar ponders over a way to help her
and eventually hatches an idea. She will mix a little bit of creature concoction into
the cake Raven will bake, so that Apple will think that Raven tried to poison her.
• At the baking contest, the students put their cakes on the table. All of them,
including Raven's, are beautiful. Raven offers Apple a slice, but Blondie takes it
from her because she is Apple's official taster. Briar had not anticipated this, but
cannot stop Blondie from taking a bite. Within seconds, Blondie turns into a
phoenix, shocking everyone but Apple, who is overjoyed that Raven tried to
poison her and hugs her.
• Caught up in the moment, Briar inadvertently spills that she was actually the one
who poisoned the cake. Realizing her mistake a moment later, Briar quickly takes
a bite off the cake to turn into a phoenix herself and fly out of the situation.
Instead, she turns into a tortoise. Still eager to escape a confrontation, she starts
walking as she is, ceaselessly babbling about how she really can't stay.
The beautiful truth
• During lunch, Ashlynn invites the Rebels for a shopping session after school. This forces
Cedar to turn down the offer and spill her reason in one breath: she entered the Royals'
beauty pageant. She didn't say anything about it before because she feared they'd find it
silly. Her friends are nothing short of supportive, though, and wish her good luck.
• The host of the beauty pageant is the White Queen, who turns out to work by different
definitions of beauty and the purpose of beauty pageants than Cedar. While Cedar was
expecting the pageant to focus just as much, if not more, on inner beauty as on outer
beauty, the rehearsals only pay attention to the latter. The White Queen has them
practice on their smiling, their grace of walking on high-heeled shoes, and makes them
prepare a speech on why looking good is the most important thing in the world. The
speech's subject has Cedar speaking up and explaining why she disagrees with the idea
that only outside beauty is to be celebrated.
• Apple, another contestant, is shaken by Cedar's words because of their truthfulness. She
retreats to a study lounge to reconsider her victories in previous beauty pageants. Cedar,
having noticed the other's negative change in demeanor, enters the study lounge to
apologize to Apple. Apple replies that Cedar opened her eyes and proposes that the two
of them change the nature of the beauty pageant. Cedar gladly joins in. When the beauty
pageant is eventually held, it is on the new terms. A speech about true beauty has the
crowd cheering loudly for all c
MirrorNet down
• The MirrorNet at Ever After High is practically down, which would not be a huge discomfort to tolerate
for the time being if Rumpelstiltskin didn't have an online test waiting for his students that has to be
finished that day. The students panic and get Dexter Charming and Humphrey Dumpty to help the
MirrorNet back online. However, the two tech-savvy boys have no clue what is going on either. The best
course of action Dexter can think of is that they find all heavy users and turn off their systems to see if
that helps.
• The first they visit is Daring Charming, whose uploading a huge number of high quality photos of
himself. Dexter quickly shuts down his brother's MirrorPad and the group rushes on to Melody Piper's
room. As predicted, she's downloading an endless number of songs. Her MirrorPad's also is turned off,
with the group then making their way to Blondie Lockes' MirrorCast upload center. Like Daring and
Melody before, Blondie is not happy when her activity is messed with. The group isn't very happy
either, because even after all that, the MirrorNet is still down.
• As a final idea, Dexter proposes that they'll go up the MirrorNet tower to see if the problem is located
there. To the surprise of all, they find someone else sabotaging the equipment at the top. To the
surprise of none, it's Professor Rumpelstiltskin. As always looking for ways to force the students to spin
his straw into gold, Rumpelstiltskin ruined the MirrorNet connection specifically so they couldn't take
the test. He still gloats at first, until the students remind him that the headmaster and other teachers
also are affected. Between the choice to being told on or the choice to re-schedule the test to a later
date as well as fix the MirrorNet personally, Rumpelstiltskin angrily picks the latter.

Alister Wonderland: The Next Alice from Wonderland

  • 1.
  • 2. Alister Wonderland • He is part of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There as the next Alice, and he is currently a student at Ever After High. He was stuck in Wonderland before traveling with Bunny to Ever After, where they are currently staying with the rest of the Wonderlandians. In the destiny conflict, he is on the Royal side for the sake of his future adventures and riddles as the next Alice. Already disappointed by Wonderland's closure, Alistair is determined to ensure that his pursuit of his destiny is safe at Ever After High, where he can learn and take in more experiences of the curious world around him. • Personality • Alistair loves a good riddle and is very witty. Sometimes he can get a bit overconfident with himself, calling himself a 'riddle master', but is selfless, brave and well-rounded in character either way. Like all of the other Wonderlandians, Alistair shows that he misses Wonderland a great amount. As such, he has a tendency to get haunting flashbacks about when he faced the Evil Queen and stayed back with Bunny Blanc.[1] His birthday is revealed on Facebook to be May 12th.[2] He is very kind to Ever Afterlings. • Family • His mother is the titular Alice from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking- Glass, and What Alice Found There. Like his mother, he wants to explore Wonderland and, solve riddles. Despite Alice's background herself as his mother, Alistair is biologically related to Wonderland; because of the fairytales going one after another in destiny, especially in Ever After. In Wonderland, or Wonderland, people are all mad and Alistair embraces that. Alistair's mother was brought up in Lizzie Hearts's diary (Lizzie Hearts's 'Signature - Royals' diary), where Lizzie herself said about Ever Afterlings "what a bunch of Alices".
  • 3. Apple white • She is part of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as the next Snow White, and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Royal side and is the leader of them because she believes strongly in destiny and has worked hard to follow tradition. • Personality • As the next Snow White, Apple takes every bit of her future role to heart. Fulfilling the role of the generous, kind, and good-natured queen to perfection, she is no doubt the best suited to her destiny. However, despite her celebrity status among the other students, Apple is just as much human as the rest of them. When everything Apple has ever known is threatened with falling apart, she takes it upon herself to lead the Royals, and become an inspiration to all to preserve destiny in the Fairy Tale world, for better or for worse. Although appearing self-centered and apathetic towards those with less prestigious destinies than herself, Apple's crusade comes from a place of genuine concern and benevolence for her friends, not wishing to see them "go poof" or be subject to the chaos that could happen if no one followed their destinies as they should. • Despite the divide in the school, however, Apple still considers Raven Queen one of her best and most treasured friends. Although she wanted Raven to follow her destiny, and her attempts to convince her to could be badgering and vexatious, she wants her to do so from a place of genuine commitment, and refused to resort to deception or unsavory tactics. In the midst of it all though, Apple's love for Raven, and her other friends, prevailed over her childhood fear of an unpredictable future. Though she still wants her own happily ever after, she now considers her friends' happiness and futures as individuals more important than the controlled world she grew up in. • At her core, Apple is hard-working and and dedicated to her future. She's intelligent, believing in rational thought and logic to contrast and compliment with Raven's abstract creativity, and an effective leader. Albeit a bit vain, she has a big heart and is loved by all for good reason. Her gracious and kind-hearted nature has secured her spot as the fairest one of all, and she upholds that title with the grace and dignity fit for a future queen. • Family • She is the daughter of Snow White and her king.
  • 4. Aquilona • Aquilona is the daughter of Boreas, the North Wind, and the current North Wind. Princess Aquilona was destined to take on her father's responsibilities, but she refused. And so, Aquilona ran away to be selfish, ignoring her great destiny. Meanwhile, Boreas got old, and died. Without a shepherd, the winds tore up trees and hasseled hills. Wanting a shepherd, the winds, blew all the way to Aquilona, but she was too selfish to claim her destiny. In her struggle against the wind, Aquilona was stripped of her bod, becoming Wind herself and because of this she can't talk to students when they visits her. • Personality • Aquilona is a very selfish princess, who doesn't care about her destiny.
  • 5. Ashlynn ella • She is part of Cinderella as the next Cinderella, and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Royal side, but a self-proclaimed Rebel as seen in True Hearts Day, out of a general belief that destiny is the way to go, even though she loves Hunter Huntsman, who is a rebel and from a different fairytale. But she switched to the rebel side, because she fell in love with Hunter who is currently a rebel. Its still injectable choices, or not confirmed if she is really a rebel. Though, technically she is still labeled as a Royal in Kitty's Curious Tale. • Personality • Ashlynn's interests are divided over three topics: shoes, nature, and Hunter Huntsman. She holds a job at The Glass Slipper both to indulge her obsession and to enforce the humble, hard-working attitude her mother instilled in her. Ashlynn enjoys long strolls in the Enchanted Forest and getting her hands dirty with earth and plant material, even if it is not befitting one of royal heritage. She has a unique ability to communicate with animals, who help her out sometimes. She shares this interest with Hunter, whom she dates despite not being allowed to, to the mixed feelings of the other students. Ashlynn is shy and soft spoken but has a big heart and is always ready to help. A huge fan of nature, and animals, she loves to speak to the squirrels and bunnies but also takes time to stop and smell the roses. Ashlynn also likes to be punctual, since if she arrives late her dress transforms into rags. Though she will go from rags to riches like her mother Cinderella, Ashlynn is by no means superficial instead she is humble and down to earth and does not wish to follow her destiny simply because of a pretty ball gown, but instead because she believes it's the right thing. She is very friendly, especially with animals.
  • 6. Baba yaga • She is a faculty advisor at Ever After High and sometimes teaches General Villainy along with Mr. Badwolf. She is also the department head for Spells, Hexes, and General Witchery classes. Though she tends to go along with Headmaster Grimm's views on destiny, she has sympathy for the Rebels and helps them in small ways, particularly Poppy, who expresses interests in both sides, although Raven is sometimes pushed to be wicked. She is very wise and uses her magic to help resolve conflicts. • Personality • The advisor to dark magicians, Baba Yaga has a withering stare and frightening cackle. She is a powerful sorceress in her own right, yet she corrects behavior with a squirt from a spray bottle (especially to Raven Queen when she refuses to be evil), as shown in the novel "The Storybook Of Legends". She agrees with Milton Grimm's views on destiny, though is more patient and less rigorous about it than he is.
  • 7. Blondie lockes • She is the daughter of Goldilocks from The Story of the Three Bears (also known as The Three Little Bears) with her destiny being the next Goldilocks and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Royal side, because she wants to fit in with the royal crowd and keep their respect. In general, this seems to work. Most Royals treat her as one of their own, even if they are annoyed by her insistent push into their group. Blondie is oblivious to this and continues to think she has to prove herself to her friends. One of the ways she makes herself a big persona at Ever After High is her MirrorCast news show, which even the teachers watch. • Personality • Blondie is the archetypal high school socialite - she's charming, she's congenial, and she has high standards. But there's just one problem; Blondie lacks the prestige of royalty and thus feels all the more excluded from what she considers a clique of princesses. Wanting nothing more than to feel like a member of the big leagues, Blondie tends to exaggerate (read: lie) about her fairy tale heritage, at one point insisting that she was a princess herself. Despite the fact that these mostly fall on deaf ears[1], Blondie nonetheless remains a pretty well-known student at Ever After High. She runs a school vlog called Just Right from her MirrorPad, where she becomes a primary source for news, exploits, and gossip. She also has a dear love for nature she gets this from her mother who was always exploring in the forests. • Blondie is also known for her tendency to nitpick and criticize seemingly insignificant details, due to her wanting everything to be "just right" - her personal lingo for "perfection". Everything from the foods she eats to the mirrors she uses has to meet every ridiculous standard, which can change just as easily as her mood. In addition, Blondie also has become infamous for her lack of regard for other people's items or space, to the point of stealing stuff from her friends and completely disregarding their privacy, something done easily thanks to her ability to unlock any locked door. She isn't malicious, however, and just has a genuine lack of knowledge of her friends' boundaries and social cues.
  • 8. Briar beauty • She is part of the Sleeping Beauty story as the next Sleeping Beauty and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict she was on the Royal side however; after she had difficulty and hard time accepting her inevitable sleeping curse as her destiny. She now sides with the Rebel side as she dropped The Storybook of Legends in the Well of Wonder in Thronecoming and to fix her destiny. • Personality • Briar is a kind and loving girl, and a hyperactive girl who loves adventure, despite the fact that she can fall asleep everywhere and anywhere at any given time, which is strongly due to a curse that her mother Sleeping Beauty had, which Briar inherited genetically.[1] Briar is kind, sensitive about her destiny, and a loving friend. She is fierce and loyal, and also is best friends with Apple White and Blondie Lockes, according to her website profile and the doll profile on the back of the doll box, although her roommate Ashlynn Ella is a close friend of hers. • She is friends with Raven Queen and Madeline Hatter,[2] and also Cupid and Cedar Wood, according to the Thronecoming TV special. Briar is scared for her "destiny" and claims she is not just a party girl, in her words: "Is that how you see me!? Just, a party girl?!" and then explains how she doesn't want to lose her friends. She most likely will lose her friends if she sleeps for a hundred years because, in a hundred years, her friends will all be long dead. She is sensitive, generous, and friendly. Briar loves adventures and journeys but wants to have her life without sleeping for a hundred years. She can be sad when the fact that if she signs the Storybook of Legends, she'll sleep for one hundred years is brought up, but in "Way Too Wonderland", this is solved when Raven signs and turns evil, but Apple brings her back, saving her, and Raven uses her newfound powers to put the pages of the book inside everyone and they don't need to sign the storybook to decide what they want, that they can be Royal or Rebel without signing the book. Briar is grateful to Raven for this and wants to live every day of her life awake. She is generally a good person with a good heart and loves Blondie's MirrorCast show. She enjoys gossip and fashion. In "Thronecoming",[3] she threw the Storybook of Legends down the well so she wouldn't have to sleep for a hundred years.[3] Briar, as not wanting to fall asleep for a hundred years, generally feared the Storybook of Legends. She doesn't have to worry about the book anymore, though. • Her "Magic Touch" is having super hearing (she can hear things from miles away) however this only happens when she is asleep.
  • 9. Bunny blanc • She is part of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland as the next White Rabbit, and she is currently a student at Ever After High. She was stuck in Wonderland[1] before her subsequent trip to Ever After, where she is currently staying with Alistair and the rest of the Wonderlandians. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Royal side because of her general belief in following her path in life. She takes great delight in starting the entire Wonderland tale by taking after her father. • Personality • Bunny is shy, however she's also quite intelligent. She is often nervous when it comes to solving problems, so she's dependent on her friends for that. Bunny's rather mature, patient and unassertive towards others and is frequently on-time wherever she goes, regardless if she's lost her way. Because of that, she's described to be never stressed and quite cool-headed.[2] However, unlike all of the White Rabbits before her, she somehow manages to be on time wherever she has to go, whenever. Bunny herself believes this is just sheer luck occurring on countless occasions, considering that her luck also brought her to Ever After.
  • 10. c.a. cupid • She is not a part of a fairytale like most of her fellow students at Ever After High, but is part of Ancient Greek mythology as the next Cupid. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Rebel side because she considers destiny to get in the way of the flow of love and people follow their true hearts, being who they want to be. Though she is terrible at archery, she is pretty good at giving love advice and thus hosts a MirrorCast advice show called Love Advice to help others find love. She was imported from the Monster High franchise, therefore having transferred from its titular school to this franchise's titular school. • Personality • Cupid is kind and helpful in matters of love. While she's very much career-driven, she can be distracted from her work when she is near her crush. However as she's aware that she's a student with a unique destiny, she's still searching for her family heritage.[1] Cupid is loyal to her job as an advice show presenter and as a friend. When it comes to matters of love, Cupid swallows her pride and puts her friends' needs before her own. She is revealed to be allergic to pollen to the extent that she needs an inhaler in the webisode Heart Struck. She also is actually a Sagittarius, not an Aquarius, as her birthday is November 24th, not February 14th. Just like Dexter Charming, her official name in the books (Suzanne Selfors books, because she is not revealed as "C.A." in the Shannon Hale books), and doll box name as well as doll logs/doll diaries; is her nickname, rather than her full name.
  • 11. Cedar wood • She is part of The Adventures of Pinocchio as the next Pinocchio, and is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Rebel side out of a general belief that people should be free to choose, though she herself is eager to follow in her father's footsteps and become a regular girl. • Personality • A true friend to a rebel named Raven Queen, through and through, Cedar's inability to lie and consequential, but unintentional, blunt speech patterns has earned her no enemies thanks to her big heart and gentle nature. She's a quirky, talkative girl with a true talent for expressing herself. Her high emotional drive makes her easily excitable, however, and a small worry can easily work her into a frenzy. • As the next Pinocchio, one might expect Cedar to be an experienced liar, but the opposite is true. At a young age, her father had a Truth spell cast on her, which prevents her not only from lying but also makes her prone to share truths without actual provocation. The spell won't wear off until her incarnation of the story commences.
  • 12. Cerise Hood • She is part of Little Red Riding Hood as the next Red Riding Hood, and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Rebel side as she has no choice. Everyone knows that Cerise is the daughter of Little Red, but very few know she is also the daughter of the Big bad Wolf. She is a person who by the rules of destiny should not have been born. Destiny punished her with half-wolf ears which she has to cover at all times. She seeks to change that for both her own sake and her parents'. Of course, she can not let anyone know until the world is no longer hostile towards her existence. This frustrates Cerise greatly on a daily basis, as does the fact she is forced to wear her hood constantly to conceal her half-wolf ears. If she shows them awful things could happen. • Personality • Cerise seems to be on good terms with most of the students, but she is nonetheless a reserved individual who is more than meets the eye. Granted that she is not exactly a loud individual, her inhuman athleticism surprises most. Being part wolf, Cerise is an excellent athlete, if not the best at Ever After High. She's prone to wolf-like tendencies and outbreaks, which is a huge inconvenience as she's trying to hide her heritage. Nevertheless, she loves her parents equally as she was ecstatic when they had a picnic together and regularly carries around a locket of their family photo. She is cautious about her secret and makes sure she keeps her wolf heritage out of public knowledge. • Though Cerise acts somewhat standoffish to the people who want to know more about her, she is incredibly protective of her friends and respects them for their secrets, and is definitely not the type to betray anyone for something of her own benefit. She is a bit mysterious. She goes under the name "Cerise Hood" with the family name "Hood" from her mother to protect the fact that she is also Badwolf's daughter, and to hide it as a secret.
  • 13. Chase redford/red knight • Chase Redford is the person in the armor of the Red Knight and the adopted son of the Red Queen from Through the Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There. He serves as the Wonderland High attendance officer. • Personality • Chase has a loyal and devoted personality; he is also quite friendly with everyone he meets. Though, Chase is a dutiful and dedicated stickler to the rules and the training he's been given as a knight, even if he seems to disapprove of it.
  • 14. Cheshire cat • The Cheshire Cat is the current performer of the Cheshire Cat role from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland as well as Kitty's mother. She lives under Wonderland inside the Well of Wonder. • Personality • The Cheshire Cat is neither malevolent or benevolent, she simply enjoys chaos and a good prank. However, she has a hard time recognizing when a joke has gone too far, and so she often participates in villainous acts. But as she's also the mother of the Cheshire Cat-in-training, she has high standards of mischief and often expects more from her daughter, who looks up to her. At the same time, she's quite considerate towards Kitty and will at least have an ear open to Kitty's opinions on things. She has an interest of liking the letter 'Y' since she helped the Pied Piper name his daughter Melody and she likes names that has a 'Y' on it
  • 15. Courtly jester • She is the daughter of the Joker Card and is closely affiliated with Wonderland High, the main high school in Wonderland, as the student body president, which by Wonderland rules, also makes her said school’s vice principal and principal. She was held in Wonderland Prison, doing her time to make up for the chaos that she’s evoked upon Wonderland.[1] Later, she was released and sent to Ever After High as a student with a legitimate destiny. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Rebel side because she wants to be a queen. In fact, she is enrolled in Princessology because of this. • Courtly is the type to have an aggressive and assertive, power-hungry exterior and an insecure interior, often referring to herself as “lowly Courtly Jester”. Her Joker heritage also makes her mischievous and a liar. She has no trouble twisting others’ words. In “Way Too Wonderland”, she is the head of a conspiracy against the Queen of Hearts, planning to overthrow her. As principal and vice-principal of Wonderland High and chief of prosecution at the school court, she has huge power over a significant part of Wonderland, as even the royal herald goes by her rules. • However, a lot has changed since then. In her time at Wonderland Prison, Courtly claims to have rewritten her ways and promises to be good and make more friends.
  • 16. Crystal winter • She is the daughter of the Snow King and Queen and they live in an ice castle on top of the clouds. She is a student at Ever After High, and in the destiny conflict, she is on the Royal side for wanting to rule the Snow Kingdom someday. • Personality • Crystal is a fun loving, happy and gentle girl who isn't afraid to take the lead and act when needed. She is kind, loving, tender, and usually happy. She has what appears to be a streak of optimism, as she did not give up in "Epic Winter" when trying to defeat Jackie Frost and Northwind. Crystal is also brave, generous, and generally a very good person. • She does not give up in the face of adversity, a nod to Frankie Stein's optimism in Monster High, to which the latter franchise is a series all about facing fears, having confidence, optimism and not giving up in the face of adversity, which is to what Ever After High (a spin-off franchise), to which she, Crystal herself, shows most of all out of all the Ever After High characters. Crystal is nice, warmhearted, and ongoing. She is headstrong and believes anything can be possible as long as you don't give up. • Crystal is very warm at heart, and has a lot of kindness within her.
  • 17. Daring charmng • Despite a life of being groomed for a destiny as the Prince Charming from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, he is eventually revealed to be the future Beast of Beauty and the Beast. He is a student at Ever After High. Daring is the older brother of Dexter Charming, another Royal, and Darling Charming, a Rebel. • Personality • For the most part, Daring is his father's son - he is, obviously, quite charming and handsome. He is also quite egotistical and conceited and very infatuated with his appearance, as he is often seen with a mirror or flashing his smile to girls. It is apparent that Daring's sanity, confidence, and happiness all revolve around him seeing himself in the mirror. He does have some sense of duty though. He is often seen escorting his (previous) future queen Apple White and he is well-practiced in gallantry. Daring also takes extra precaution when his teeth get whitened by covering his mouth to not risk blinding passing students. • Aside from his confident airs, Daring has shown to be a sensitive guy at times, prone to emotional outbursts in times of great stress. His profile information says that he's easily upset, though seeing something beautiful can calm him down (such as his own reflection). He cares greatly for his friends and family, especially his younger siblings who he tries to look out for (though not always in the best way). Nonetheless, he is not afraid to admit to his mistakes and apologize to others.
  • 18. Darling charming • In the destiny conflict, she is on the Rebel side because she wants to go on adventures instead of being rescued. She is part of a fairytale yet to be solidified, but is strongly hinted to be Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with her part being that of the one that kisses the bewitched princess awake. She is a student at Ever After High. She is part of a long line of Charmings, and is the twin sister of Dexter Charming, as well as younger sister to Daring Charming. • Personality • Darling is rather coy, acting shy, overly sweet and obedient, truly charming, true to her family name. Behaving like she is expected to, acting like a damsel in distress, to keep her family satisfied. Darling also has a love of reading and learning the unknown⎯quite mysterious herself, she has been called a bookworm by her brothers and is a good researcher. • However, when she drops her facade, Darling has an incredible sense of whit, adventure and action - she would much rather live the life of a daring hero than as a dainty princess. She hides herself in a suit of armor[1] so that what is highly expected of her won't tarnish.[2] However despite her reputation, Darling is far from a damsel- in-distress. Deep down, Darling has an unwavering will and won't be afraid to step in a situation and offer her help. Darling also has a "Special Touch," that when she tosses her hair, the time will slow down.
  • 19. Dexter charming • He is part of a fairytale yet to be revealed, since many stories are in need of a Prince Charming and he is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, he is on the Royal side because of family loyalty and expectations. Dexter is the younger brother of Daring Charming, another Royal, and older twin brother of his sister Darling Charming, a Rebel. • Personality • Dexter is shy and tentative. He is friendly, but unlike his brother, he is not very suave or charismatic. This becomes even more pronounced when he talks to Raven Queen, whom he has a crush on, one on one. At times, he has a tendency to compare himself with his older brother, Daring. Ironically, Dexter is jealous of his brother's ability to impress any girl, unaware that he himself possesses an enchanted gaze that makes girls swoon. The effect is broken when his gaze is not immediate, like when he wears his glasses. Just like C.A. Cupid, his trademark Mattel name is also not his full name or real name.
  • 20. Duchess swan • She is part of Swan Lake as the next Swan Queen, and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Royal side, even though she does not like her destiny. Because there is no Happily Ever After in her destiny, Duchess is a bitter person who'll go to great lengths to punish people who do have a Happily Ever After and don't commit themselves to it. She also occasionally tries to forcefully switch her destiny with another princess's, but so far she has not succeeded in changing her fate. • Personality • Duchess considers herself an opportunist, though she, like Briar, is a Royal with doubts. Her story has a tragic ending, which makes her bitter and envious of those with happy endings. Though any princess can become the target of her frustration, Apple White is whom she regards as her main opponent. Apple has the best Happily Ever After. Duchess wants to have her Happily Ever After with Daring Charming whom Duchess has a big crush on. She also looks down on Raven Queen, who is perhaps the only princess with a fate as bad as hers, and she is furious about Ashlynn Ella getting the best of both worlds. However in secret, it is mentioned by Brooke Page that Duchess secretly admires Raven and, Apple and tries to find the best in both their personalities.[1] • She is vindictive, and spiteful about her ending, and willing to risk any chance at companionship with her fellow students to get a better one. She appears to think that if she is able to get one of them to give up or lose their Happily Ever After, she can take the ending for herself. • Her "Magic Touch", is that she can dance on water.
  • 21. Fairy queen • The Fairy Queen is the ruler of all fairies in Ever After and the mysterious organizer of the Blue Moon Forest Fest. As the queen of the fairies, she may hold higher authority and possess greater power than the Dark Fairy. She has no known fairytale. She teaches Advanced Elfonomics and Good Magic Mastery at Ever After High. • Personality • The Fairy Queen is a kind and benevolent being. Despite how exclusive her party is, she did not hesitate to invite everyone to the fest.
  • 22. Farrah goodfairy • She is the daughter of the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella. She is part of the cheerhexer squad and a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, Farrah sides with the Royals because she loves the magic and fashion that comes with her destiny; she is especially looking forward to Ashlynn Ella's makeover to the ball. • Befitting her name, Farrah is a genuinely goodhearted fairy. She is helpful, kind, and selfless to a degree that's outright motherly. Even to those who are rude to her, Farrah only returns their tactlessness with the utmost respect she gives everyone else, and refuses to treat anyone unfairly. She's very understanding and is never seen resorting to anger or blame and instead displays an industrious and magnetic personality that can solve problems with ease. • However, in the midst of solving everyone else's problems, Farrah usually forgets to solve her own. It's easy for her to stress herself out trying to help everyone else so badly that she neglects herself and her own problems. Though content working behind the scenes as a fairy godmother, she has expressed a desire to be in the spotlight for once. After she finishes living out her legacy, being the fashion- forward dreamer that she is, Farrah plans to open boutiques around Ever After. She owns a fashion blog called Fairest Godmother.
  • 23. Faybelle thorn • She is part of The Sleeping Beauty as the next Dark Fairy, and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Royal side because she loves to become the next Dark Fairy just like her mother and become the villain in her story which is Sleeping Beauty. Even as a child, Faybelle has always loved cheerhexing. However her mother constantly warns her that if cheerhexing happens to overtake her destiny, she will put a stop to it. Faybelle is not prepared for such and loves both her destiny and cheerhexing a fair amount.[1] Her story is known as both Sleeping Beauty and, according to the Ever After High website, The Sleeping Beauty. She is the daughter of the Dark Fairy, and is a dark fairy herself. • Faybelle Thorn is a competitive girl with a true penchant for wrongdoing. Encouraged from a young age to use her powers for nefarious purposes, she holds no qualms about using her fairy heritage to make sure things always go her way. She considers villainous destinies a mark of prestige, which is why she's distrustful of Raven Queen, whose mother stole the role of the villain in The Sleeping Beauty from Faybelle's, and then has the audacity to reject the most prestigious villain's role of them all. Due to a family curse, people always forget to invite Faybelle to parties, which is a great source of spite for her.[2] • Trouble follows Faybelle, and she's always at the center of attention wherever she goes - for better or for worse. Her ambition is both her greatest strength and her Achilles' heel, as most of her exploits to assert her spiritual dominance over her fellow students usually end up backfiring in embarrassing or tragic ways. Nonetheless, she remains unbroken and is always ready to prove herself once more. Although she definitely comes off as snide and selfish, Faybelle is a product of her lineage, and isn't without humanity. She knows when she's taken things too far, and has been known to apologize for her wrongdoings, however begrudgingly. She is a cheerhexer, the Ever After High equivalent of fearleader to Monster High. In Ever After High, cheerleading is also cheerhexing (like fearleading), but in the Shannon Hale books, it is still called "cheerleading" like in real life and "cheerleader" is used to describe Faybelle's uniform outfit in The Unfairest of Them All, and even in "An Hexclusive Invitation", "cheerleader" is used by Hopper Croakington II to describe Faybelle's school sport. It is certainly unknown if it is because, the phrase was non-invented at the time, or that the creators didn't think of it because there is no fairytale-related word that rhymes with "cheer".
  • 24. Ginger breadhouse • She is part of Hansel and Gretel as the next witch who cooks the children, and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, Ginger is on the Rebel side because as much as she does love to cook and bake, Ginger is not fond of others reminding her that her mother's alluring treats nearly got Hansel and Gretel cooked - Ginger is cooking solely because of her love for it and even hosts her own cooking show named Spells Kitchen, which is a parody of Hell’s Kitchen. • Personality • Ginger is a shy girl who doesn't like her destiny and would rather be a pastry chef with her own cooking show as she loves baking and sharing her treats with others, to the point where refusing to try them will hurt her feelings. She is sweet-natured and forgiving, bearing no ill will to those who wrong her. Despite the fact that most are against the idea of Ginger going Rebel, Ginger always comes out on top with her motivated spirits and unwavering will to do what she loves.
  • 25. Holly o’hair • She is the daughter of Rapunzel from the fairy tale Rapunzel. She is a student at Ever After High. Holly is a Royal, due to being the older twin and getting the Rapunzel destiny and she is very happy about this because she wants her destiny as the next Rapunzel. Soon Holly and Poppy learn that Poppy is really the older twin making Poppy the one to receive the Rapunzel fairy tale. However, for years the reverse was thought to be true and Holly enjoys the idea of following her destiny. In "Truth or Hair" it is revealed that Holly is really Poppy and Poppy is really Holly. Their birth certificates were switched by their nanny, Nona. She and Poppy have agreed to keep this reality a secret from everyone else, because Holly wants to be Rapunzel and Poppy doesn't. Holly arranged for Poppy to go to Ever After High despite Poppy's lack of destiny making her a Rebel by default even though later on she becomes the very first Royal. • Being daughter of Rapunzel, she is already used to letting others use her hair for tower escapes and she seems happy to help. She enjoys reading and often tells her sister Poppy stories. Because of this she is regarded as smart. This is a pastime she will rely heavily on in her own fairy tale. Holly is a total Royal enthusiast and she is incredibly preppy.
  • 26. Jillian beanstalk • She is the daughter of Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Rebel side because of yet unrevealed reasons. • Personality • Although very little is known about Jillian, she seems to be a person who gets straight to the point. She has shown great bravery in Dragon Games. She is also unafraid of heights, as seen in Beanstalk Bravado.
  • 27. Justine dancer • She is the daughter of the 12th Dancing Princess from the fairytale The Twelve Dancing Princesses, and a student at Ever After High. She is in a committee with other Royals, and sides with the Royals in the destiny conflict for unrevealed reasons. • Personality • For someone who sees the big picture, Justine is a creative, hardworking and confident girl who loves to bring out the talent in others. She has a spirited love for dancing and believes that everyone deserves their time under the spotlight. She also tends to dance in her sleep.
  • 28. Kitty cheshire • She's the daughter of the Cheshire Cat, the character from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. In the destiny conflict, Kitty is on the Rebel side because she doesn't want to listen to the rules of destiny. However, the only reason why Kitty would want to follow her destiny is most presumably her dream of making her mother proud and to be like her one day - a beautiful, smart master of all things chaotic. Kitty herself would rather keep her affiliation of anything to do with Royal/Rebel sides a secret to just keep everyone guessing. Per their escape to Ever After, all the escaped Wonderlandians transferred from Wonderland High to Ever After High. • Kitty is usually a mischievous misfit in what she says and does. She wants to create chaos and pursues her life making mischief and being the typical "baddie" role. She slightly likes her destiny and slightly wants to follow her mother's footsteps, but Kitty is on the Rebel side for not wanting to listen to the rules of destiny. Also, she loves watching drama and creating chaos, but she stays aside and hates getting involved, as she states in a book. • Kitty is a mischievous chaotic werecat with an almost-villain streak to her. She usually likes to cause problems for others, but really, in truth, has a good heart and loves and cares for her friends. Her personality is quite catty, as she is very curious and likes to cause bad things to happen almost wherever she goes. Kitty never means to be fully antagonistic or be a real antagonist, but she sometimes forgets how to really treat her friends. Through and through, though, Kitty is kindhearted and will even stand up against her own mother to protect both her Wonderlandian friends and save her friends of Ever After. Kitty can somewhat bare a personality striking streak to Toralei Stripe from Monster High, although she does not have a group of minions and is less of a bully.
  • 29. Hopper croakington 2 • He is part of The Frog Prince as the next frog prince, and he is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, he is on the Royal side because of yet unrevealed reasons. In the first Ever After High by Shannon Hale, The Storybook of Legends he is referred to as Hopper Croakington instead of Hopper Croakington II up until the third book, A Wonderlandiful World. • Personality • Hopper essentially has two personalities: he is debonair in frog form, while his human form brings out the pushy and awkward in him. This results in a much repeated circle of his frog self charming ladies, who then kiss him, turning him human, at which point his nervousness prompts his change back into a frog. Hopper is well-aware of his 'quirk' and laments the sorry state of his existence. Hopper also has tendencies to turn into a frog purposely to grab kisses from other girls.
  • 30. Hunter huntsman • He is part of both Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Little Red Riding Hood as the next Huntsman, and he is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, he is on the Rebel side because he refuses to hurt, kill or even eat animals. As the next Huntsman, he can be relied on to jump into action when he thinks someone needs help, ripping off his shirt in one fell swoop. He learned to love Ashlynn Ella, his girlfriend, in peace, while coming out with their relationship. • Personality • Hunter is a little boastful, easily annoyed, and distracted. He is serious about his role as a hero, but not as enthusiastic about his job description as a hunter. He cares deeply for nature and animals, and is even a vegan, though his family won't approve this so he keeps it a secret, as he does not eat anything that was an animal or from an animal. He also secretly set free the animals from his father's traps[1]. At times, he can tend to be a little overconfident when confronting problems. Hunter is the kind of boy who goes along with others easily, but has problems finding connection on topics that deeply matter to him, like nature and animal well-being.
  • 31. Lizzie hearts • She is part of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland as the next Queen of Hearts, and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Royal side because of years of family dedication, practice, and belief of destiny in general. Per their escape to Ever After, all the escaped Wonderlandians transferred from Wonderland High to Ever After High. • Like her mother, Lizzie often condemns people and objects to decapitation, but she is really a sweetheart, despite her capriciousness. Regardless of the fact that she is proud of her heritage, Lizzie has aspirations on becoming a kinder Queen of Hearts, however she has trouble expressing that to her friends for it is easier said than done. She goes a bit overboard as she memorizes her mother's daily deck of instructions and using her mother's signature quote a lot, her bold actions often startling others around her. She acknowledges that the people of Ever After take her exclamations far too literally. Because of that, Lizzie values genuine friendship, mostly from her Wonderlandian friends Madeline and Kitty. She is described to act aloof and standoffish to those who don't know her personally in practice of her role as future Queen of Wonderland. Out of the Wonderlandians who experienced the flight from Wonderland, she is probably the most nostalgic one because her mother was also affected. Her Wonderlandian exclamations are often misunderstood by the citizens of Ever After. In the Shannon Hale book called A Wonderlandiful World, its revealed that Lizzie secretly wanted to make friends as she would wish she is one of the girls who likes to party and dance with Briar Beauty but her admiration of following her mother's footsteps made it difficult for her to do so, She is also the strongest believer of 'Nothing is impossible' a Wonderlandian belief. • Her "Magic Touch", is that she has the ability to construct anything out of cards and to chop things with her finger, and she can sense Hedgehogs nearby. She was pretty demanding at first but when Apple and Briar explained that the students at Ever After High are her friends not her subjects she became a little calm.
  • 32. Madeline hatter • She is part of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland as the next Mad Hatter, and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Rebel side out of a general belief that people should be free to choose, though she herself is eager to follow in her father's footsteps. As all Wonderlandians, she has access to Wonderlandian magic, although it is more accurate to say that Wonderlandian magic has access to her, because she doesn't have control over her powers. Per their escape to Ever After, all the escaped Wonderlandians transferred from Wonderland High to Ever After High.[1] Her middle name is revealed to be Xylophone by her comment in "Dragon Games". She is daughter of the Mad Hatter. • She is psychic and has the ability to hear the narrators, as well as see into the future, although this is often dismissed as insanity. She shares this ability with Kitty Cheshire. • Madeline is bright, energetic, and extremely friendly. Also very optimistic. Generally, she interprets things more positive than they are, the one exception being when people are explicitly arguing. Madeline is also extremely fond of tea and keeps an entire tea set, including her tea buddy and pet Earl Grey, in her hat to be ready for tea time literally wherever she goes. The Wonderlandian magic which manifests in her is how she can do impossible things if she doesn't know they are impossible, she sometimes has visions of other times and other places, she can read people's thoughts as well as being able to hear the narrators, something which her peers don't believe her on. She also sometimes speaks in Riddlish, the Wonderlandian language of riddles without realizing that she is not speaking Ever After English, that is. As Ever After is a completely different kingdom and country from the country of Wonderland, she sometimes struggles to communicate with others, specifically Ever Afterlings, albeit her diary is completely understandable where she explains the Riddlish language. In her diary, she speaks a riddle about "change", what "jingles in your pocket" but "is never the same" about what people in Ever After of the Fairytale World are exactly afraid of (specifically about the rules of "destiny" and "fate"), and even translates Kitty Cheshire's Riddlish to us. Underneath her giddy, happy, optimistic, positive, and bubbly personality, she also hides a very intelligent person who can be quite serious about matters when she wants to be. • Her "Magic Touch", is that she can pull out an item from her hat of many things which is the hat she always carry, while her tea set is in kept her teacup hat and some tea items are in her pockets.
  • 33. Meeshell mermaid • She is a student of Ever After High and the daughter of the Little Mermaid from the story of the same name. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Royal side because of yet unrevealed reasons. • Meeshell tends to be shy or hesitant when trying out new things and meeting new people, though she warms up to them if they share a common interest. For example, she and Melody Piper get along incredibly well due to their mutual love for music. • Meeshell is a literal fish out of water. In her human form, she lacks confidence and is more comfortable in her true form.
  • 34. Melody piper • She is the daughter of the Pied Piper from The Pied Piper of Hamelin. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Rebel side because she wants music to bring people together instead of luring one another away which happens in her story. Her father encourages Melody to follow her heart and pursue her love of music such as being an inspirational DJ, which to Melody, is just a stepping stone in the process of what she truly wants music to become. • Melody is a DJ with considerable talent, if the fact that she's Briar Beauty's favorite is anything to go by. She doesn't seem to care about Headmaster Grimm, and his rules much as she interrupts him to start the party and skip the speech. She always wants everybody to have a good time. She doesn't speak much but lets her music do it for her, like controlling her dragon or consoling Daring.
  • 35. Mira shards • Secretly, she is the Evil Queen in disguise, who takes the form of her younger self to infiltrate Ever After High while the Dragon Games take place. Unlike most, Mira does not have a side in the destiny conflict. She most likely portrayed a Royal in Ever After High, because the Evil Queen wants her daughter to be evil but she is mostly probably a Rebel because she wanted the destiny to concur over other realms and kingdoms. According to Raven Queen's Magic Mirror Card, there's a girl who lives in Raven Queen's Magic Mirror, who appears to Raven for a brief moment, disappearing quickly with surprise. She could be the real Magic Mirror's daughter. • Mira is a rather extroverted, bold, and loud person. She enjoys whatever kind of attention she receives from other people. She tends to be spontaneous with her words, and can be incredibly sly and tricky. The girl who lives in Raven Queen's Magic Mirror is very rude, saying things like "what are you looking at" for the people who try to use the mirror.
  • 36. Nina thumbell • She is the daughter of Thumbelina of the story by the same name, and she is a student at Ever After High. She is also part of Faybelle Thorn's cheerhexing squad. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Rebel side because of yet unrevealed reasons. • Nina isn't the character who is judgmental or is prone to take charge of a situation. Though she is more of a go- along-get-along type of person, Nina speaks up when she has to. Nina believes recycling is important, and encourages her friends to do it as well. She is as about as eco-friendly as Ashlynn Ella is.
  • 37. Poppy o’hair • Poppy O'Hair is the older sister of Holly O'Hair and daughter of Rapunzel from the fairy tale of the same name. She was introduced in 2013 as an all-around character. Poppy is the younger twin and is pretty happy with this because she doesn't want to be tied down by a destiny. However; Poppy and Holly learn that it is really Holly who is the younger twin making Poppy the oldest and the one expected to be the "next Rapunzel" and not her, and that their birth certificates were switched when they were born making Poppy and Holly more confused. For some reasons, Poppy is always determined to follow her on path of her destiny and she doesn't want to take the title of "next Rapunzel" since she knows how much it means to her sister, Holly. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Rebels crowd out of freedom and free to choose her own paths in life, however; she claims that she stands in both sides. • Personality • Poppy loves styling and taking care of hair and has a reputation as the best stylist in town. As described by her sister, she enjoys taking "short cuts". Even so, she is a free-thinker who is very innovative. As a unique individualist, Poppy does not take likely orders from anyone and would much rather walk to the beat of her own drum. She also has a good sense of fashion.
  • 38. Ramona badwolf • Ramona Badwolf is a 2015-introduced and fiction-only character and is the daughter of the Big Bad Wolf from Little Red Riding Hood, secretly Cerise Hood's older sister, and Red Riding Hood's daughter. She is a student at Ever After High, after being sent to a reform school for bad behavior. It is unknown where she stands in the destiny conflict. • Like her younger sister Cerise Hood, Ramona is incredibly loyal about the people she cares about. She can be somewhat moody and edgy, but has a good heart. Ramona can be a good friend and loyal to those she trusts, especially even her roommate Justine Dancer, as seen in the webisode "Moonlight Mystery". She is also athletic like her sister.
  • 39. Raven queen • She is 15 years old and is the main character. She is part of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as the next Evil Queen, and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, she is on the Rebel side. In fact, she technically is the founder of the Rebel movement, because it was her rejection of her destiny that inspired others. She dislikes this situation, however, because it makes the other students, Rebels, and uncertain Royals alike, come to her for guidance, which she cannot provide. Raven is not evil by any stretch of the definition and so playing the role of villain does not sit well with her. Nor does she enjoy the prospect of the punishment that she, as a villain, is destined to. Resolving only her own problem already takes a lot of her energy and as such, she cannot help others make their own personal decisions. • Contrary to popular belief at Ever After High, Raven Queen is not evil or even so much as mean. She is kind, smart, extremely loyal to her friends, and considerate with a sarcastic side born from frustration over her unjust reputation. When people try to socialize with her, she is skeptical about their intentions, but not so much that it limits her ability to make new friends. Raven loves music, she is often seen with her headphones on and she plays the guitar, piano, and sings when no one is around. One of her most favorite artists is Tailor Quick. • Raven is not the first student to dislike where her story is taking her, but she is the only one in her class to take actions towards free will: starting with the small step of pursuing her love and talent for music, a subject usually reserved for good princesses. • Her "Magic Touch", is that she can cast spells.
  • 40. Rosabella beauty • She is part of Beauty and the Beast as the next Beauty, and she is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, she's a Rebel because she believes that her destiny is not as important as helping others - for example, helping beasts and fighting for equality. As an animal-lover, Rosabella is more than willing to give up her Happily Ever After for her own personal beliefs. • Personality • Rosabella is a passionate young girl with a tender heart for creatures, especially beasts who are treated badly by Fairy Tale society. She fights for what she wants, and selflessly campaigns for the better treatment of beastly students. She considers all animals beautiful, no matter how homely or disturbing they may appear. • In addition to her activist spirit, Rosabella is bookish, intelligent, and intuitive. She enjoys reading and writing when she isn't campaigning for animal rights. She has the magical ability to see people for who they really are, in the form of colored auras she can decipher. She's also an effective leader and organizer for her causes, and is able to appeal to people's true senses.
  • 41. Humphrey dumpty • He is a student at Ever After High and the son of Humpty Dumpty from the nursery rhyme of the same name. It is currently unknown where he stands in the destiny conflict, however, he appears to show some Rebel support. • He has been described as an egghead, figuratively. He is good with technology, and is often found in the Mirror Lab. Humphrey is a bit flustered around Apple White, but is equally eager to impress her. He likes to ra in his free time.
  • 42. Sparrow hood • He is part of Robin Hood as the next Robin Hood, and he is a student at Ever After High. In the destiny conflict, he is on the Rebel side because he'd rather have his face on a concert poster than on a wanted poster. As the leader of the Merry Men, this is not an easy goal for Sparrow. While some of them are Rebels too, others are Royals - a situation that divides the group of otherwise close friends who look up to Sparrow. • Sparrow is the kind of person who likes be stuped but prefers to limit his ties. He is a charmer, able to catch the interest of many girls, but usually not interested in keeping a hold on it. As befitting his destiny, Sparrow is a practiced thief and conman. Nonetheless, he has little interest in his prewritten future, as he'd rather be a musician. He is a skilled singer and guitarist.

  • 44. Beginning 1. The World of Ever After High 2. Apple's Tale: The Story of a Royal 3. Raven's Tale: The Story of a Rebel
  • 45. The world of ever after high • Ever After High is a high school that prepares the teenage children of fairy tale figures for the day they'll take their parents' place and keep their stories alive. This year, however, a young woman destined for the role of villain, Raven Queen, considers another option: one in which she can have a Happily Ever After of her own. • This does not sit well with the Headmaster, Milton Grimm, because the stories have to be repeated as they are to continue to exist. On top of that, many of the students, led by Raven's own counterpart Apple White, do not appreciate the idea of Raven and her like-minded peers deviating from their roles, as it might interfere with their own destinies. Along this line, the student body finds itself split between the Royals, mostly the ones who were promised a Happily Ever After, from the day they were born, and the Rebels, the ones who are not favored by destiny or who sympathize with those who aren't. The Royals seek the safety of continuing their stories, while the Rebels, wish the freedom afforded by rewriting the script. • Yet while the conflict brews, daily life goes on. This forces the students to not only figure out their beliefs and wishes and how to fight for them, but to also navigate the way this affects their familial relationships, friendships, and romances, as well as their school results. Life at Ever After High may be enchanting, but simple it is not.
  • 46. Apple’s tale: the story of a royal • Apple White and Briar Beauty are making their way through the Enchanted Forest and the Village of Book End to Ever After High. Apple is highly excited, as this school year her grade's Legacy Day will occur, which will be the first step on the path to her destiny as queen. Briar is less excited about Legacy Day and her subsequent one hundred year-lasting sleep, but looks forward to all she'll be doing this year, including the Legacy Day afterparty. At school, the two friends split up so Briar can greet everybody while Apple catches up with her husband-to-be Daring Charming and has a mini- interview with Blondie Lockes. • Later that day, Apple gets Briar to help her decorate the half of her dorm room that will be occupied by Raven Queen, the villain-to-be of Snow White. This is a last minute change from the dorm room plan which originally had Apple and Briar rooming, requested by Apple as a surprise for Raven. When Raven arrives a little earlier than expected, Briar flings herself out of the window to not interfere with the surprise and because she's never flung herself out of a window before. Luckily for her, Daring happens to be standing just under the window and catches her. • The next day, Briar and Apple go into town and meet up with Ashlynn Ella, who invites them to go with her on a forest walk later. The three are interrupted by a massive shoe delivery, which immediately gets all of Ashlynn's attention. Coincidentally, the bell of Ever After High sounds to notify the students that the Legacy Day rehearsals will begin soon, so the two leave Ashlynn and return to the school building. • At the rehearsal, Headmaster Grimm instructs the assembled students. Raven tries to ask a question, but he ignores her to get on with the rehearsals. Apple, Briar, and Daring go through theirs, but when it's Raven's turn, she uses the moment to voice her question anyway: what if she doesn't want to make the pledge? All present are shocked, and Headmaster Grimm tries to subdue the situation by insisting that Raven continues. Raven, however, runs off, and so does Apple soon after, because Raven's refusal to be the villain would deny Apple her Happily Ever After. As she considers her predicament in the Enchanted Forest, Headmaster Grimm approaches her and asks her to help convince Raven to embrace her destiny. Apple accepts, not only for her sake, but for the sake of the entirety of Ever After.
  • 47. Raven’s tale: the story of a rebel • Raven Queen and Madeline Hatter are making their way through the Enchanted Forest and the Village of Book End to Ever After High. The narrators start bickering, which prompts Madeline to scold them and tell them to stop. Since only Madeline can hear the narrators, Raven is confused, but gently drops the matter to vent her frustration over her terrible reputation, which is based on her heritage and not her actual personality. Madeline attempts to comfort Raven by insisting that everyone loves her, but is quickly disproved when they enter the school and all present flee at the very sight of Raven. This doesn't seem to faze Madeline, who repeats that everyone loves Raven, but goes off on another tangent when she realizes it's tea time. Again, Raven lets her friend be, smiling as she walks off to the castleteria. • Feared as she is, Raven sits alone at a lunch table when Dexter Charming, who has a crush on her, tries to chat. He doesn't get very far, as they are interrupted by the arrival of Daring Charming and Apple White. The two pairs greet each other and talk about their next classes when the bell rings. Cerise Hood walks by as they do and Daring greets her, accidentally blinding her with his perfect smile. Cerise's wolf side is provoked and she growls on instinct, realizing her error a moment later, but a moment too late nonetheless. Blaming it on a cold, she runs out of the castleteria. • At sunset, Raven makes her way to her dorm room, where she is surprised to be greeted by Apple. The latter reveals that she arranged for the two of them to get a room together, instead of with respectively Madeline and Briar. She even took it upon herself to decorate Raven's side of the room with furniture she deemed appropriate for a villain-to-be. Raven is not at all pleased, but Apple fails to notice. • The next day, at the Legacy Day rehearsal, Headmaster Grimm instructs the assembled students. Raven tries to ask a question, but he ignores her to get on with the rehearsals. Madeline, Hunter, and Cedar go through theirs, but when it's Raven's turn, she uses the moment to voice her question anyway: what if she doesn't want to make the pledge? All present are shocked, and Headmaster Grimm tries to subdue the situation by insisting that Raven continues. Raven, however, runs off, stopping only when she's reached the serenity of the Enchanted Forest. As she considers her predicament, she is unaware she is being watched by Giles Grimm, the Head Librarian of the Vault of Lost Tales, who too wonders what Raven's doubt will mean to the world of Ever After.

  • 49. Stark Raven mad • During Muse-ic, Kitty Cheshire disturbs class by tricking Professor Piper into playing the melody that summons a rain of rats to fall upon him. Kitty vanishes with a grin, at which point Raven Queen is called from class to visit Baba Yaga's office. • When she arrives, she finds not only Ms. Yaga waiting for her, but also Headmaster Grimm, Apple, Briar, Maddie, and Lizzie. Baba Yaga explains that they've arranged an intervention to get her back on the path of villainy. Raven objects, but she is told to sit down and listen. Apple speaks first, proclaiming the problem is that Raven is too apologetic for an evil queen and she should stop feeling guilty for doing bad things. Next is Briar, but she is distracted and starts about the bungee platform she has set up. Baba Yaga cuts her off and asks for Maddie's opinion. Maddie is not cooperative, having been tricked into attending with the promise of a tea party, and thus voices her support for and appreciation of Raven. Moving on, Milton asks Lizzie about her thoughts, and she simply suggests decapitating Raven. • At once, everyone begins to bicker, agitating Raven even further. She angrily unleashes a spell to create silence, which hits Headmaster Grimm. He is turned into a chicken-man, which at first pleases him because Raven performed an evil act. It is when she storms off that he properly realizes his predicament and runs after her, asking to be changed back to normal. The other students find this most entertaining.
  • 50. True reflections • One morning in Apple's and Raven's shared dorm room, both girls are getting ready in front of their mirrors. Apple is singing, much to Raven's annoyance, and asks her magic mirror who the fairest at the school is. Of course, it replies that she is. Content with the answer, Apple leaves to borrow jewelry from Briar. In the meantime, Raven attempts to curl her hair with a spell, but it bounces off of her own mirror and strikes Apple's mirror. When Apple returns and asks what her mirror thinks of her jewelry, it responds with a rude and negative answer. She is taken aback and wonders aloud if something happened while she was gone. Raven lies she can't recall anything, but offers to help her find a new mirror. • They first they approach for a replacement-mirror is Briar, but she only has a compact. Next they ask Blondie Lockes to lend them one from her huge mirror collection, which she's willing to, but only if she can find the one among them that is "just right". As a last resort, they ask Daring if Apple can borrow his hand mirror. He agrees if he can check himself one more time first, which takes longer than they're willing to wait, so they return to their dorm. • Apple paces the room and laments like a true damsel in distress. Raven can't take it anymore and finally confesses that she broke the mirror. Apple, in turn, admits that she knew the whole time that her evil roommate had broken it, and has already ordered another one. In the meantime, she suggests Raven make it up to her by pretending to be her magic mirror and saying all of the encouraging things she is used to hearing. Raven goes along with it reluctantly.
  • 51. Maddie in chief • The whole student body is watching Blondie Lockes's MirrorCast show when she covers the matter of the upcoming royal student council elections. Apple White is running unopposed, as always, so the position is as good as hers. Apple is unfazed, promising that if she has no opponent, she'll use her debate time to outline her ambitions for when she is elected into the position. • Raven is annoyed by the situation and wishes someone would run against Apple for student council president. Maddie promptly decides to run against Apple, which surprises Raven. Nonetheless, the two quickly set up a campaign. While they are handing out buttons around the school, Dexter comes over to talk to Raven, but Maddie interrupts by pinning a button onto him. It gets into his skin and he walks away, trying to cover up the pain in front of Raven, while she just smiles. • Later, the students gather in the charmitorium to hear the debate. Blondie, the host and openly in favor of Apple, asks Apple why anyone would not vote for her. Apple sidesteps the question by replying that she would rule the student council like she will her kingdom: perfectly. The Royals cheer, but the Rebels glare. Blondie then asks Maddie why she's even bothering to run against Apple. Madeline answers in Riddlish, which no one understands, but has the Rebels cheering anyway. Now, it's the Royals who glare, and they don't leave it at that. The charmitorium erupts in argument, but Maddie silences everyone with the perfect solution: she and Apple will become student council co-presidents.
  • 52. Briar’s study party • One day early in the school year, Professor Rumpelstiltskin announces a Science and Sorcery test of chapters one to thirty-four. The class is outraged about the unfairness of such a comprehensive test this soon, but they can't do anything about it. That night, the students gather for a study session and Blondie Lockes informs them that this test is a recurring part of Rumpelstiltskin's class. Specifically, at the beginning of the year, he always gives an impossible test. His intention is to get students to ask for extra credit and he always makes them spin straw into gold for him. • With the test looming over them, Briar announces she can tutor her friends, since she has been studying a lot on her own. Her friends are relieved, but before they can even start, Briar falls asleep. Aware that without her help they'll fail the test, the students work to wake her up. Neither loud noises nor bright lights do the trick, though. Dexter remarks that Briar takes partying more seriously than studying, which inspires Raven to wake Briar with music. • The effect is immediate and Briar decides to turn the study session into a study party, tutoring her friends to the beat of the music. The next day, Rumpelstiltskin, gleefully collects the tests and begins grading them. To his dismay, the whole class has gotten A's. All laugh, while the professor wails.
  • 53. Here comes Cupid • C.A. Cupid travels through a mirror portal to Ever After High, another high school in need of her matchmaking expertise. As soon as she arrives, she sees many potential relationships and works her magic, giving them a push in the right direction. On a slow day, she is approached by a frog who eloquently introduces himself as Hopper Croakington II and requests her help. Cupid assumes he wants to be human again and kisses him, failing to notice his protests. As soon as Hopper is a human, he awkwardly blurts out a bad pickup line and turns back into a frog. He explains that this—clumsy human or suave frog—is how his curse works, and that he cannot properly present himself to Briar Beauty, whom he has a crush on. Cupid proposes that they record lines while he is in frog form so that she can play them for him when he approaches Briar, in human form. • One night on a balcony, Briar meets Hopper after being told a secret admirer was waiting for her there. She is displeased to find out it's Hopper who has a crush on her, listing off the reasons she doesn't return the feeling. Once she's done, Cupid, who is hiding beside the balcony on top of a pillar made out of furniture, plays a recording from earlier while Hopper lip syncs. Briar is impressed by the compliment and asks if Hopper has any more poetry. • Meanwhile, Dexter walks by in the courtyard below and greets Cupid, taking off his glasses. Cupid just so happens to have a crush on Dexter and this, combined with the fact that all girls swoon over him when he takes his glasses off, causes Cupid to lose her balance when she sees him. She falls down, but is fortunately caught by Dexter. Unfortunately, Hopper is now without help and predictably ruins his chances the moment he opens his mouth. He offends Briar, and promptly turns into a frog, which Briar thinks is gross. Hopper licks up a frog ad Broarbwalks away.
  • 54. The shoe must go on • The Glass Slipper is having a new shipment of shoes and Ashlynn knows the store will draw a lot of customers that day, so she gets her friends to help her. First, Hunter delivers the shoes to her store. Ashlynn is grateful, but declines his offer for a date as not only does she have more work to do, her other friends will arrive soon and she doesn't want them to know about her and Hunter. Before Hunter realizes it, he's been pushed out through the back door. • Briar and Blondie enter the store shortly after, but they are not the help Ashlynn was counting on. Blondie is overbearing and, doesn't get anything done because she is set on doing it perfectly all at once, while Briar promptly falls asleep. Meanwhile, Hunter isn't faring all that well either, being pelted with acorns by Pesky and failing at capturing him for payback. • At only a minute before The Glass Slipper opens, only one box of shoes has been opened and the stress is getting to Ashlynn. However, Hunter, in pursuit of Pesky, comes speeding back in through the back door and follows the squirrel into the pile of shoe boxes. Miraculously, the motion launches up all the shoes from the boxes, after which they land on display perfectly. The Glass Slipper opens by the force of many shoe enthusiasts, who are more than content with the display. Ashlynn takes the moment to sneak off to Hunter and kiss him in gratitude. Only, the kiss never happens due to Pesky drawing Hunter's attention once more. Ashlynn takes it in stride.
  • 55. The cat who cried wolf • Deep within the Enchanted Forest, Cerise and Carmine are having a race. Though they have a lot of fun, Cerise has to return to school. Carmine licks her face in greeting, which makes her hood fall off and her wolf ears become exposed. Ushering Carmine back to their pack, Cerise puts her hood back on and runs off, unaware that Kitty Cheshire saw everything. • Back at school, Kitty confronts Cerise and insinuates she will spill Cerise's secret to everyone. Cerise is next approached by Raven, who notices something is wrong with her and offers to help. Feeling desperate and needing someone reliable to know, Cerise reveals that she is not only the daughter of Red Riding Hood, but also the Big Bad Wolf— she is the result of a marriage, that goes against all fairytale norms. Raven vows not to tell a soul, but Cerise counters that Raven isn't the one she expects to rat her out anyway. • During Grimmnastics, the students are made to run laps. One particular race pits Cerise against Daring Charming and the middle pig. All seems fine until Kitty appears in the audience and her lackeys show up with a cage. On Kitty's sign, they release a deer within the track and the sight of it triggers Cerise's wolf instincts. She completes the lap much faster than her opponents, shocking everyone present. Kitty's lackeys lock away the deer again, and Cerise returns to normal. Realizing what she has done, Cerise tries to make herself small, but Kitty draws attention back to her with taunts that Cerise has something to tell the school. At this point, Raven cuts in and announces that Cerise's feat, was made possible with her black magic. Kitty protests, but Raven shuts her up by casting such a spell on her. As Kitty involuntarily does laps, Cerise thanks Raven.
  • 56. Cedar wood would love to lie • Professor Nimble tells his students to come up with a tall tale as their homework for the next class. This assignment is a problem to Cedar Wood, as she is cursed to not ever lie. She brings this up with the teacher, who says that she should find a true story that is dramatic enough to sound like a tall tale. • Cedar takes the advice and goes in search of an outrageous true story. Deep in the Enchanted Forest, Cedar spots Ashlynn and Hunter having a romantic picnic together and realizes they are dating. She confronts them about it, but they deny the allegation. Not one to be easily fooled, Cedar presents them, with various pieces of evidence until the two lovebirds can no longer hide the truth. Cedar is proud of her discovery, but horrified when she realizes this is her tall tale, which she won't be able to keep to herself next class. Hunter, nervously eating peanuts, says something, but can't be heard properly with his mouth full. This gives Cedar an idea. • Next class, Cedar brings along a bag of peanuts. When she begins her tall tale, she stuffs her mouth, making her story impossible to hear. She keeps stuffing her mouth through the whole presentation, confusing most of her fellow students, but earning Hunter's and Ashlynn's gratitude. They say that she is a “nut” in all the right ways.
  • 57. Catching Raven • Briar's hosting a party and Dexter wants to ask Raven to go with him. However, he lacks the courage to approach her and instead stares dreamily at her from behind his locker's door. C.A. Cupid shows up behind him, hoping for a nice chat with her crush, but she quickly realizes that's not going to happen. Dexter tells her of his problem, explaining he'd like to be more like his confident brother. Cupid suggests him to try his "asking out"-skills on his friends, hoping Dexter will try with her. However, Dexter is so enthusiastic, about the idea that he immediately runs off to try his skills on his other friends. • During Science and Sorcery, Dexter tries asking Briar, but she just falls asleep, per her destiny. His next plan is to test his luck with Maddie during a walk, but he blunders through his sentence so badly, that Maddie just thinks he speaks Riddlish, a Wonderlandian language, too. Finally, he tries to woo a troll girl, which works, but ends with him covered in kiss-obtained slobber. • Defeated, Dexter returns to Ever After High for some solitary sunset watching on the balcony. Unexpectedly, he is joined by Raven, who often comes up to watch the sunset. Even more unexpectedly, she asks him to Briar's party, explaining that going with a friend puts less pressure on her. Dexter eagerly accepts and makes a victory dance when Raven, leaves that has him falling from the balcony into the bushes below. Cupid just so happens to be sitting there reading, and Dexter makes use of the opportunity to thank her for advice. He gives her a kiss on her cheek, leaving her giggling happily.
  • 58. The tale of legacy day • It is the morning of Legacy Day, and while most students are preparing for and looking forward to the grand ceremony, Raven is nervous and miserable. She doesn't want to sign the Storybook of Legends, but she also doesn't want to let everyone down or potentially disappear. Fortunately, Madeline knows someone who might be able to help her with her decision. Just as they are about to meet with this person, Apple spots them. Raven makes a run for it, pulling Maddie along, before Apple can catch up and hold another speech about their duty to follow destiny. • Raven and Maddie head to the library, where the latter uses a code of knocks on a door. The two are transported, to the other side, right into the Vault of Lost Tales. Madeline introduces Raven to the librarian, Giles Grimm, who only speaks Riddlish. On behalf of Raven, she asks him about the consequences of not signing the Storybook of Legends. Giles's answer suggests that there are none, but Madeline notes that Riddlish is not an exact language, so she can't be sure her interpretation of his words is correct. • That evening, the ceremony is in full swing when Apple is asked to step forward and sign the Storybook of Legends. The book shows her the future she would have if she was to sign, which is filled with nothing but glamour and fame. Apple eagerly signs. Next is Raven, still unsure of what choice to make. The book reveals her future as one filled with exile, poverty, and captivity. This seals the deal for Raven and she closes the book without signing it, declaring that her choice is the start of her own Happily Ever After. To everyone's amazement, including her own, she does not disappear. Angry about the lie, she turns to Headmaster Grimm but Apple's cries draw her attention away. Raven tries to talk with her, but the crowd is loud and restless with either shouting or cheering. Agitated, Raven casts a time-freeze spell on everyone before she even realizes she's capable of that. Nonetheless, it makes talking with Apple easier. After unfreezing Apple alone, Raven apologizes to her for not playing along with Apple's story, but affirms her belief in free choice. Apple refuses to be consoled and runs away in tears. Left alone, Raven unfreezes Maddie for support in this pivotal moment. • Up in the school building, Milton Grimm worries about the future and the danger Raven unleashed with her open defiance. His thoughts are interrupted, by a dark laugh coming from a mirror in his office.
  • 59. The day ever after • After the complete bust that was that year's Legacy Day ceremony, tensions are high between the Royals and the Rebels. During lunch, Daring denounces Raven's refusal to sign the Storybook of Legends to his fellow Royals. A nearby table of Rebels overhears, leading to Cerise standing up for Raven. Briar takes up the glove in return, arguing against Raven with a story that heavily exaggerates the Royals' interpretation of Raven's anti-destiny speech. Maddie isn't about to let her friend's reputation be tarnished like that and counters with an equally heavily exaggerated, and inaccurate account of Apple's speech. Before it comes to blows, the Royals and the Rebels agree to stop and ignore each other from then on. • From a higher level in the castleteria, Kitty observes the altercation with glee and decides her entertainment should not end just yet. Taking a few fries, she throws them at Briar, who assumes the Rebels are responsible. As she is about to confront them, Kitty throws a few fries at Cerise and Maddie, who assume Briar is responsible. It only takes a few more seconds for both tables to start a castleteria-covering food fight. • Apple and Raven, arrive in the castleteria right in the middle of the food fight and promptly put an end to it with the aid of Raven's magic. As their friends turn to them in surprise, they explain that while they don't see eye to eye about destiny, they don't want that to be cause of hostilities among their friends. However, Apple can't resist adding that Raven accomplished nothing at Legacy Day and that thus the Royals don't need to worry because Raven will “come around and sign.” Provoked, Raven throws some food at Apple, who doesn't let that slide and throws a pudding in retaliation. Before long, the food fight is in full swing once more. Will the madness ever end?
  • 60. Replacing raven • Maddie and Raven talk about Apple's heavy reaction to the Legacy Day events, with Raven noting she wants to make it up to Apple. Maddie advises that Raven find a replacement for the role of Evil Queen so that Apple still has her fairytale villain, which gives Raven hope. She even gets her replacement practically thrown at her, because the smallest of the three little pigs overheard and volunteers, claiming it's his dream to be evil. Raven is amused more than convinced, but doesn't discourage him. • Eager to prove himself, the littlest pig decides to commit "evil" acts. His first scheme involves replacing yellow mustard with brown mustard in the castleteria, but people only like the unexpected taste. Next, he plans on dropping balloons filled with dangerous gas on the students. However, his dangerous gas is just harmless helium. As Raven demonstrates, all it does is cause the balloons to float. • The two are joined on the balcony by Apple, who has heard that Raven is looking for a replacement for the role of Evil Queen. Rather than happy, she is even more upset that Raven is trying to replace herself in their story, arguing that they're supposed to be frenemies. Raven retorts that she doesn't want to have that relation with Apple, but before their disagreement can continue, the littlest pig shouts for attention. He has attached himself to the balloons and is floating away, proclaiming he doesn't want to be evil anymore and instead wants to be a balloonatic.
  • 61.
  • 62. Blondie’s just right • In the wake of the Legacy Day fiasco, Headmaster Grimm is worried that more of the school legends will be questioned. To save what can be saved, he recruits Blondie Lockes to utilize her MirrorCast show to prove those legends to be true. Blondie is only eager to take on the subject. The first legend on her list is that troll tears make for a wonderful shampoo, which she tests on Cedar Wood. The result is less than satisfactory though, as Cedar's hair is turned all green. Headmaster Grimm, who hides out in the back to make sure the legends are indeed proven true, quickly switches the troll tear bottle for another. Blondie suggests they just need to use more troll tears and so empties the new bottle on Cedar, whose hair is instantly turned perfect. Victorious for now, Headmaster Grimm sneaks away, but trips and spills the troll tears over his own hand, turning it hideous. • The next legend to be verified is that giants are terrible dancers. Duchess Swan and Tiny assist in proving the claim, but Tiny dances just as well as Duchess. Headmaster Grimm, who's still tagging along in the shadows, uses a mirror to reflect the stage lights into Tiny's eyes. Tiny can't see anymore and topples, falling right on top of Headmaster Grimm. Unaware still of his meddling, the legend that giants are terrible dancers is declared true. • Lastly, Blondie gets Sparrow Hood to help prove that griffins will leave their nests if the right song is played. Sparrow plays his guitar and the griffin enjoys the song, but it only nods to the rhythm. Headmaster Grimm climbs up to the nest and begins to shoo and poke the griffin away. Annoyed, the griffin flies up and stomps on Grimm, causing him to fall off the tree. He crash-lands just as Blondie ends the segment. Enthusiastic about the results, Blondie approaches him and begins to share her other ideas for legends that still need to be proven. Thinking back on what he has already gone through that day, Grimm faints as Blondie goes through her list.
  • 63. True hearts day part 1 • It is spring in the world of Ever After and love blossoms along, undaunted by the reality that the population's romantic potential has already been laid out within their destinies for them. Even C.A. Cupid, daughter of Eros, is bound by the rules of Ever After. But being from another world, these rules do nothing to stop her from pining after Dexter Charming. He does not feel the same, but appreciates her friendship. It is because of this that he entrusts her with a book he found in the forbidden section of the library called The History of True Hearts Day. Cupid is overjoyed and immediately heads to Headmaster Grimm's office to convince him to return the holiday to its glory of years ago. Headmaster Grimm, however, refuses to do so, calling the holiday dangerous because it doesn't fit with the pro-destiny philosophies of the school. Though he fails to take the book from Cupid, he forbids her to talk about it with anyone. Intimidated but not easily shaken from her goal, Cupid meets up with Briar and tells her all about True Hearts Day through charades. She easily convinces the resident party girl to help her organize a secret True Hearts Day dance. • Down in the Enchanted Forest, Duchess enlists Sparrow to help her obtain evidence of Ashlynn's and Hunter's secret romance. They find Ashylnn and Hunter on a romantic date and Duchess, after taking pictures, threatens to expose their secret and take Ashlynn's place in the royal rankings as well as her Happily Ever After. The threat ruins Ashlynn's and Hunter's date, prompting Ashlynn to return to The Glass Slipper to think the situation over. Apple pays the store a visit and notices Ashlynn's distress, but Ashlynn declines to share her problem with Apple, who is widely known for her pro-destiny mindset. • Back at Ever After High, Cupid holds her radio show to help others with their love problems. Dexter calls in to gain advice on how to confess his love to Raven Queen. Despite precautions, Cupid recognizes the caller as Dexter. Heartbroken but dutiful, she tells him to put his feelings down on parchment. Thanking Cupid, Dexter quickly goes to write Raven a love poem. Once finished, he leaves the poem at Raven's locker for her to find. He hides nearby and watches as his crush finds the gift, but things go differently than he anticipated. Because he signed the poem as "D. Charming", Raven incorrectly interprets it to be from Daring Charming, leaving Dexter's heart worse off than before.
  • 64. True hearts day part 2 • Ashlynn and Hunter ask Cedar Wood, the only trustworthy person who knows about their relationship, to meet them in a café because they need help now that Duchess is on the verge of exposing them. Cedar advises them to reveal their relationship before Duchess can, which they agree is the best course of action. • At Ever After High, C.A. Cupid receives a shipment of party supplies. Headmaster Grimm becomes suspicious and asks her what the party supplies are for. Cupid stutters, but Briar and Hopper rush to the rescue and tell the headmaster that they are using them for a play. The explanation satisfies him until a shipment of heart-shaped cakes arrives. Thinking fast, Cupid tells the headmaster that they're for a scene where Briar throws cakes at Hopper. Briar demonstrates to sell the story, which convinces Headmaster Grimm of their sincerity. In another hallway, Duchess finds Blondie Lockes resistant to reporting on Ashlynn and Hunter, because she doesn't want to harm her friends. Duchess tries to change her mind, but Hunter and Ashlynn choose that moment to make their relationship public themselves. Duchess is angry that she's been thwarted, which amuses the couple until Apple walks up to them and expresses her disapproval. As it turns out, the entire school has strong opinions about the couple; the Rebels wholeheartedly support them and the Royals are skeptical at best. • All in all, Ashlynn is overwhelmed and tries to make sense of everything. After Princessology, she tries to talk with Apple. Though past her initial distress, Apple still can't agree with Ashylnn's choice, in part because Ashlynn did not trust Apple to know about the relationship before the public reveal. Still thinking, Ashlynn goes for a walk in the Village of Book End, where she encounters Duchess. Duchess gloats over Ashlynn's self-destruction, having realized that it is irrelevant to her plans who brought the relationship to light. Noticing that her enemy is happy about the situation and her friends are everything but, Ashlynn concludes that she and Hunter have made a mistake. As such, she takes him aside in the castleteria to break up for their own and everyone else's sakes. Unable to cope, she leaves Hunter standing alone and heartbroken.
  • 65. True hearts day part 3 • Early that evening, the students of Ever After High sneak out of their rooms to attend the True Hearts Day dance. That is, everyone but Duchess and her friend Sparrow, who have not been told where the dance is because of the odds that Duchess would tell on the party-goers rather than join them. Sparrow is resentful towards Duchess because she is the reason he is not invited, and therefore, he refuses to help her find the location of the party. Duchess doesn't press the matter, because she spots Cedar, whose curse will force her to reveal where the dance is held. Once she has the information, she rushes to Headmaster Grimm's office and plucks him out of an important broadcast. He is angry about this until he hears of the secret True Hearts Day dance and orders Duchess to lead him to the party. • At the True Hearts Day dance, the ever-popular Melody Piper DJs and everyone is having a wonderful time. Raven takes the opportunity to thank Daring for the love poem she found at her locker. However, Daring denies knowledge of any poem and Raven realizes that "D. Charming" is actually Dexter Charming. Dexter, meanwhile, is watching the conversation from afar in the belief that he lost Raven to his better brother. C.A. Cupid joins his table, noticing his sad face and needing only a moment to follow his gaze and figure out his problem. Rather than flirt with him, as she had intended, she sits down next to him as a friend. She advises Dexter to stop comparing himself to Daring, because his qualities as an individual do not depend on Daring's qualities. Grateful for the support, Dexter lays his hand on hers. Just then, Raven chooses to talk with Dexter, delighted at the prospect of him as her secret admirer over Daring, but as she sees Dexter and Cupid sitting close, she sorrowfully assumes she is too late and retreats. • Later that evening, Cupid calls for a break in the music and dancing to tell the story of True Hearts Day, which hasn't been told in years and isn't likely to be commonly known. Historically, True Hearts Day is the day that everyone in Ever After goes to pick a blossom from the Heart Tree, a special tree that survives even the harshest of winters, and then gives that blossom to the person dearest to them. To return to this tradition, Cupid has arranged for a group of fairies to pick the blossoms this year and distribute them among the students, so that they too can share their heart with someone special. Moved by the story, Ashlynn grabs the crowd's attention from Cupid to declare her love for Hunter and give him her heart blossom, which he joyfully accepts. All present cheer for them, except Apple, who walks over to them. Ashlynn apologizes for her choices, but Apple unexpectedly gives Ashlynn her heart blossom. She explains that even though she disagrees with Ashlynn's choices, she will always be her friend. With any conflict out of the way, the music is soon back on and the dance floor is filled. Dexter prepares to give Raven his blossom, but Madeline pulls her away and Lizzie steals the blossom. Cerise asks Cupid where Cedar is, since she hasn't seen her around yet. Cupid reveals, as Cedar walks in, that she was their decoy, having been told a wrong location specifically so Duchess would not find them. A note was left in Cedar's room so she'd be able to make her way to the correct location eventually. • Over in the Enchanted Forest, Duchess and Headmaster Grimm arrive at the location Cedar said the dance was to be held. With music coming from within the building, all seems to go according to plan for Duchess. Headmaster Grimm kicks the door open to catch the students red-handed, but they find only Sparrow practicing with his Merry Men. Headmaster Grimm gives Duchess detention for having lied to him, which Sparrow concurs she dese
  • 66. Class confusion • It's time for students to pick elective classes and Raven tells Maddie that because she can now take control of her destiny, she will sign up for a class she's never thought of taking before: Princessology. Apple, who is standing nearby and overhears, insists that it isn't right for Raven to choose such a class. To prove her point, Apple decides that if Raven takes Princessology, she will sign up for Home Evilnomics, in spite of Raven. • Soon after, Apple has her first Home Evilnomics class and is slightly intimidated by the frightening surroundings and her classmates. Her first Home Evilnomics assignment further drops her resolve: each student is to go into the Enchanted Forest, find an animal, and then turn it evil. The other students have no trouble with any part of the project, but Apple can't bring herself to turn the little beige rabbit she found evil. At first, she tries to reason around the final part of the project by arguing that, since the rabbit is munching on a carrot very quickly, it will surely get an "evil" tummyache. The teacher, Baba Yaga, doesn't consider it good enough and tells Apple to try again. For her second attempt, Apple creates a mask of Baba Yaga's face and makes the rabbit wear it, but the sorceress doesn't buy it. She tells the princess that she gets one more chance to turn the rabbit evil or she will fail the assignment. Apple returns to the Enchanted Forest, pondering over what to do, as woodland creatures flock to her. Among them is a billygoat, which appearance gives Apple an idea. • Back in Home Evilnomics, Apple presents the class with her rabbit before pulling a curtain in front of herself. From behind it, she claims to be casting her spell, while in reality she is attaching bunny ears to the billygoat she secretly brought along. Lifting the curtain, Apple reveals her creation. Though still not impressed, Baba Yaga lets Apple pass with a D minus minus. Elated, Apple meets up with Raven at her locker to proudly announce her success in an evil class, but her mood changes when she learns that Raven dropped Princessology only a few minutes in. As Raven leaves, Apple wonders what to do with Home Evilnomics and the class's current project: growing evil plants, with hers possessing terrible manners.
  • 67. Apple’s birthday bake-off • The student body is preparing for Apple White's birthday, which is celebrated with a royal birthday cake baking contest. Apple is excited until Raven informs her that she'll participate with an apple crumb cake that isn't the slightest bit poisoned. Apple goes to Briar and Ashlynn for a shoulder to cry on, then decides a warm bath will do her good. Once Apple is gone, Briar ponders over a way to help her and eventually hatches an idea. She will mix a little bit of creature concoction into the cake Raven will bake, so that Apple will think that Raven tried to poison her. • At the baking contest, the students put their cakes on the table. All of them, including Raven's, are beautiful. Raven offers Apple a slice, but Blondie takes it from her because she is Apple's official taster. Briar had not anticipated this, but cannot stop Blondie from taking a bite. Within seconds, Blondie turns into a phoenix, shocking everyone but Apple, who is overjoyed that Raven tried to poison her and hugs her. • Caught up in the moment, Briar inadvertently spills that she was actually the one who poisoned the cake. Realizing her mistake a moment later, Briar quickly takes a bite off the cake to turn into a phoenix herself and fly out of the situation. Instead, she turns into a tortoise. Still eager to escape a confrontation, she starts walking as she is, ceaselessly babbling about how she really can't stay.
  • 68. The beautiful truth • During lunch, Ashlynn invites the Rebels for a shopping session after school. This forces Cedar to turn down the offer and spill her reason in one breath: she entered the Royals' beauty pageant. She didn't say anything about it before because she feared they'd find it silly. Her friends are nothing short of supportive, though, and wish her good luck. • The host of the beauty pageant is the White Queen, who turns out to work by different definitions of beauty and the purpose of beauty pageants than Cedar. While Cedar was expecting the pageant to focus just as much, if not more, on inner beauty as on outer beauty, the rehearsals only pay attention to the latter. The White Queen has them practice on their smiling, their grace of walking on high-heeled shoes, and makes them prepare a speech on why looking good is the most important thing in the world. The speech's subject has Cedar speaking up and explaining why she disagrees with the idea that only outside beauty is to be celebrated. • Apple, another contestant, is shaken by Cedar's words because of their truthfulness. She retreats to a study lounge to reconsider her victories in previous beauty pageants. Cedar, having noticed the other's negative change in demeanor, enters the study lounge to apologize to Apple. Apple replies that Cedar opened her eyes and proposes that the two of them change the nature of the beauty pageant. Cedar gladly joins in. When the beauty pageant is eventually held, it is on the new terms. A speech about true beauty has the crowd cheering loudly for all c
  • 69. MirrorNet down • The MirrorNet at Ever After High is practically down, which would not be a huge discomfort to tolerate for the time being if Rumpelstiltskin didn't have an online test waiting for his students that has to be finished that day. The students panic and get Dexter Charming and Humphrey Dumpty to help the MirrorNet back online. However, the two tech-savvy boys have no clue what is going on either. The best course of action Dexter can think of is that they find all heavy users and turn off their systems to see if that helps. • The first they visit is Daring Charming, whose uploading a huge number of high quality photos of himself. Dexter quickly shuts down his brother's MirrorPad and the group rushes on to Melody Piper's room. As predicted, she's downloading an endless number of songs. Her MirrorPad's also is turned off, with the group then making their way to Blondie Lockes' MirrorCast upload center. Like Daring and Melody before, Blondie is not happy when her activity is messed with. The group isn't very happy either, because even after all that, the MirrorNet is still down. • As a final idea, Dexter proposes that they'll go up the MirrorNet tower to see if the problem is located there. To the surprise of all, they find someone else sabotaging the equipment at the top. To the surprise of none, it's Professor Rumpelstiltskin. As always looking for ways to force the students to spin his straw into gold, Rumpelstiltskin ruined the MirrorNet connection specifically so they couldn't take the test. He still gloats at first, until the students remind him that the headmaster and other teachers also are affected. Between the choice to being told on or the choice to re-schedule the test to a later date as well as fix the MirrorNet personally, Rumpelstiltskin angrily picks the latter.
