I used many different technologies in the creation of my
production. These can be separated into two groups.

3. Wordpress: What I learnt
•Accessible from my smartphone or any computer
•Continuously updatable
•Informal structure of blog (lots of different information and styles
•Easy to track progress through posts
•An insert multimedia (video/pictures/links etc.)
4. Wix: What I learnt
•At first I hated it because of how much time you need to spend
presenting the information
•Enjoyed it after learning how to use it
•Can use multimedia
•Easy to organise information through pages and menu bar
5. Netflix: What I learnt
•Very good for researching different movies
•Can look at films through genre
•Suggests similar films
•Can easily pause and rewind films
•Has a huge variety of films
•Can access it on any computer or phone with internet
6. Audacity: What I learnt
•Good for just focusing on editing audio
•Many different effects can be added
•Can have lots of different tracks of audio
•Can record files directly played on your phone
•Uses different formats of audio
7. Adobe Photoshop: What I learnt
•Found it very complicated to use
•Hard to get different photos to be edited the same
•Could make photos more effective and dramatic
•I only used it for photos For Example:
8. Adobe Premiere: What I learnt
•Had loads of useful tools
•Easier to grasp basic functions
•Multiple tracks of audio
•Multiple tracks of video
•Loads of functions we didn’t/didn’t need to use
9. Soundcloud: What I learnt
• Allowed me to embed songs on website
• Could access lots of different music
• Create playlists with music for the piece
• Could listen to the music and sign up for free
• Can access it through an app on my phone
10. YouTube: What I learnt
Same points as Soundcloud:

12. Smartphone: What I learnt
• Always available, I always had it with me
• Could access the internet to research as well as other Apps
such as Soundcloud, Youtube, Wordpress and Netflix
• Used sound recorder to get some sound effects
• Used camera to take photos of location, test shots etc.
13. Camera: What I learnt
• Took a while to get used to setting to achieve image I wanted
• Needed a card reader to put files from SD card into computer
• I could add other features such as wide angle lenses
• Lighting helped capture the image I wanted, not just the camera
14. Computer: What I learnt
• The computer was key to the production and research of
my product
• I used it to research different theorists, institutions and
productions
• I used it to edit my website and blog
• It held the editing programmes I used
15. Lighting Kit: What I learnt
• The lighting kit was really useful for our indoor scenes
• We could control where and how much light there was
• Filters also could change the colour of the light
We used a pink filter in the party scenes to
give the impression of passion and warmth
16. Sound recorder: What I learnt
• None of the sound in our piece was
filmed on set
• All of the diegetic sounds were filmed
using the sound recorder
• Easy to edit in Audacity
• Very portable so could carry anywhere
and record without hassle
