The Argentinian government has introduced a new electronic system i.e. the “Single Electronic Window of Foreign Trade” which will enable data transfer and tracking of international trade transactions and commercial information, between different government bodies in Argentina.

1. Argentina Introduces New Systems for Recording Overseas Payments: Update from Nair &

(Sunnyvale, CA)- The Argentinian government has introduced a new electronic system i.e. the “Single Electronic
Window of Foreign Trade” which will enable data transfer and tracking of international trade transactions and
commercial information, between different government bodies in Argentina.
The Argentina Federal Tax Authority (AFIP) in a measure to collect such information uses the Import Prior Sworn
Statement (Declaración Jurada Anticipada de Importación or DJAI). All such information collected under the DJAI
will have to now be introduced through the Single Electronic Window of Foreign Trade.
The Specified Transactions include:
 Financial debt payments for the purchase and sale of goods in third countries (not entering Argentina
borders);
 Foreign payment in regards to debts;
 Profits and dividends paid outside the country; and
 Business transactions under the courier regime.
In addition, for any such payment made abroad will now have to be done through a new service called the
“Foreign Payment Affidavit" (Declaración Anticipada de Pagos al Exterior or “DAPE”).
Individuals should have a "Fiscal Code" with safety measures of level 3 or higher. Depending on the transaction
performed, the data must be filled with DAPE.
