Confused.com is the UK’s first and longest-running price-comparison site. It helps drivers win
on all things motor – from buying a car, financing it and insuring it, to selling it again – and
everything in-between.
Confused.com is not a broker, but a one-stop shop that makes it easy for our customers to
find the right deals. We are not about selling the very cheapest deal, unless the very cheapest
deal is right for the customer. Neither do we push the most profitable deal for us – we put your
needs first. In the bad old days, drivers had to obtain their car insurance through high-street
brokers, broker websites or directly through an insurer’s website. But it all changed in 2002
when Confused.com launched the first online car insurance price comparison site, and in
doing so spawned a market revolution because it simplified the process of finding people great
car insurance quotes. In 2009, insurance price comparison was launched in Spain under the
name Rastreator.com.
Rastreator.com is already a leader in motor insurance price comparison in Spain and plans to
expand further into other insurance products. Since then we continue to expand internationally
across the world with operations in France and in the US.
