PA only targeted to adults with autism
HI and WA ICF and waiver services delivered separately
Only two operating with private for-profit

SO, what is managed care? Managed care is a change in how Medicaid pays for services. As we said, Medicaid is the health insurance program run jointly by the states and federal government. Traditionally, Medicaid pays each provider of services for each service that they give. Under managed care, Medicaid instead contracts with one company to pay for all of the services that a person might need.
Managed long-term services and supports means that states are including LTSS in that change to managed care. Instead of the state paying each provider for services, the state will sign a contract with a managed care organization to provide all of the services a person might need, including long-term services. The managed care organization will be responsible for providing each person on Medicaid with all of the services that he or she might need.
