Ten new universities from Europe, Asia Minor, Central and South America have joined MyUniversity project's Super Portal, expanding the online academic community. The Super Portal now has 24 participating universities and aims to promote dialogue and cross-border initiatives in higher education. MyUniversity project started in 2010 and demonstrates how e-participation tools can involve stakeholders in university decision-making.

“Ten new Universities join MyUniversity-project’s Super Portal!”
Ten new Universities from Europe, Asia Minor, Central and South America have joined
MyUniversity project’s Super Portal in the last few months since its launch, thus broadening
the list of institutions engaging in this unique eParticipation platform that promotes dialogue
and cross-border Higher Education initiatives.
These Universities are:
Akdeniz University (Turkey)
Institute of Ecology, Economy and Law (Ukraine)
Moscow University of Finance and Law (Russia)
University of Tirana (Albania)
Universidad del Valle de Orizaba (Mexico)
Universidade Federal do Pampa (Brazil)
University of the Aegean (Greece)
Universidad Tecnica de Ambato (Ecuador)
Faculty of Social Studies of University of Ostrava (Czech Republic)
Danube University Krems (Austria)
With a current total of 24 Universities participating in the project’s Super Portal, the online
academic community – students, staff and professors - has been significantly enlarged and
the core objectives of the project for a more unified Higher Education and active participation
in decision-making are being reached.
The list of Universities that have expressed their interest to become a part of this community
is expanding and the Consortium of MyUniversity project is anticipating a growing number of
institutions in the platform in the upcoming months.

can use an array of specific e-Participation tools for involving university members and
stakeholders in transparent higher education decision-making processes at local, national and
EU level. MyUniversity is currently supported by the European Commission (ICT Policy
