Today’s mostly all business are running on web base application. Our FYP is also web base which help in all type of software houses where there work become easy and safe time. Automation (PSA) is a web based (SaaS) collaborative work and project management solution. PSA is based on project management, resources management, time and expense tracking, also bugs tracking. This PSA will support four types of users. These are Admin, Project Manager and Employees of project team and Client. Each of which have their own panel. Everyone has limited resources except Admin. Each project is assign to specific project manager. Due to web based project it can be access any time anywhere.
The software is especially made for a software house named Mamdani Web Inc. more detail is describe in Problem domain. The main objectives of PSA are: to work more efficiently and task to be done on time. feature (mailing via ticket)
For our FYP we choose Ego-less Programming Team structure. (Control Decentralized). (Team members cover all areas so that no one person or group monopolizes any one specific area of work).
ASP.NET (4.0) with C# is used as Front End.
For Back End they used SQL SERVER 2008.
For designing purpose they used MS Expression Web 3
Introduction of client, there current s/w. The problem of our PSA is to make a web based PSA, that include Project management, to do list etc, Actually our client use MS-Project for project scheduling and other websites for performing other functionality.
The problem domain of this software is, user should not buy separate software’s for each functionality of the system, so this project integrate all major functions together and give a complete professional service automation (PSA) solution to their user.
The future enhancement for this system would be a chit chat feature also voice chat which are very important now a day in organization. Predefine events in the calendar, Daily routine notes, also apply for job in particular software house. The PSA on mobile application will also increase the worth of the system.
The usefulness of this project is, you should not need to buy separate software’s for each function, and you should get integrated professional service automation (PSA) solution. That’s why this is valuable software and better, faster, or cheaper than single software functionality product.
The PSA is effectively help to business to better growth, information flows rapidly to where it is needed, repetitive or time-consuming tasks get handled automatically, and people throughout the organization are given the support and tools they need to perform at their best.
This would be very useful in that scene, all project is complete on time and the origination running well which also increase the economy. Furthermore there is also more features to add in this PSA to become more powerful and attractive which is trouble-free to employ and handle things straightforwardly.
